You don't need to be a professional to share the good news; you just need to be led by the Spirit. Trust that God is working even when you don't see immediate fruit, and focus on finding the one person ready to hear. Step out in faith today, knowing your life is a message and His power is sufficient.
And it's it's just amazing when you "come to the end of yourself", that's God, that's actually when God can move the best. Not again, because I I know I'm hammering this, but leaving my own strength and entering God's strength. And then just practically, we wanna draw attention to Jesus, not ourselves. So just a practical thing, like I typically don't talk to anyone at entrances of stores. I know everybody's different, but just trying to be a normal person going in, but and just carrying Jesus.
Like, you know, it could happen anywhere. Just like we don't have to be all like, Jesus, repent. So we can be 1 on 1 people. I had a buddy who was like, we're in the middle of Cain's chicken. I don't know if you all have that here, but we're in the middle of Cain's chicken.
Okay. You just got it. Alright. That sauce is that's awesome sauce. We were in the middle of Cain's chicken and a buddy of mine, he's he turns to me.
He's like, Robbie, should we stand up and preach the gospel? I'm like, let's stand up and go table by table to share the gospel. And so yeah. And because people people wanna see that you're actually human and and like we wanna we wanna actually be relational with people just like Jesus was. And I'm not against open air preaching.
I actually love it. But there's something about the 1 on 1 effect where people can look into your eyes, you can look at people's eyes and actually have a true invitation to come into relationship, but not only relationship, but discipleship. Because we're not looking for just decisions, we're "looking for disciples". And that's what we're bringing people into. Like, and when we're looking for people who are new and who we're wanting to disciple, it is more so like who is gonna be my new friend?
Who is gonna be the person I can walk in life with and they can come over, I can pour into? And so that is even the mission, that's the goal is to find that disciple. And another thing, we don't have anything to prove and nothing to lose. So, yeah. So the pressure is is off with that.
So the pressure's off. We're not forcing anything on anyone. Again, we're not trying to give them a full just 1 year full of discipleship experience in 30 seconds. And then, yeah, remember we're looking for the 1, the people who are ready. Walked by a guy, hey man, you know that Jesus loves you?
He's like, thank you, I needed that. Hey, do you have relationship with Jesus? He's like, yeah. I said, but have you been born again? He's like, I'm shook.
And he's like starts shaking. And he's like, I was just praying to God this morning that he would send me a sign to be born again. His name's Edwin, you know, and it was just this simple moment in in Walmart. And we've you know, we were just coming like that, and it's just a beautiful moment. "God aligns things" up.
And a few a few more things and I'll I'll be done. But don't assume someone already knows the gospel. And don't assume how they will respond. Yeah. I'd heard a theme today like I talked to everyone I talked to was pretty much born again.
That's awesome, we celebrate that. Let's just never get to a point where we're actually going to start assuming who's born again, who's not, who's hurt it, who hasn't, and who how they will who and how they will respond. And then lastly, I'll just repeat something Chris said. Until we go, we won't grow. You know?
All of this comes with just really jumping in the car and going out and trying it. Like like, no one's a professional here. We're all just trying to articulate the gospel in a way that can be received and bring people in to be discipled. And and so yeah, I'll just end with that is until you go, just guys continue to go out and just try different ways of introducing yourself, different ways of approaching people, and you'll find you'll find your place in that, and your confidence will grow, and you'll start seeing the fruit. Yeah.
