World Mission Project
Accredited degrees, Spiritual Leadership Training, School of Ministry, and eBible Institute — a complete educational ecosystem rooted in the decades of teaching by Dr. Leon van Rooyen and carried forward under Dr. David John Philips with a physical campus in Louisiana.
The Next Generation
For over four decades, Dr. Leon van Rooyen built a global education system that has reached more than 150,000 students across dozens of nations. His books, training manuals, and mentorship programs have been translated into many languages and deployed in churches worldwide.
World Mission Project exists to steward that inheritance and expand it. Under the direction of Dr. David John Philips, we are not replacing the founding vision — we are grounding it in a place. Our Louisiana campus will be the first location where students don’t just study theology — they live it alongside missionaries, pastors, and leaders in active ministry. Online pathways remain available for students everywhere, and every program offered here is part of the same proven curriculum family that Dr. van Rooyen developed.
Primary Focus

SLT is the cornerstone mentorship track — a personalized leadership program that distills over 45 years of ministry experience from founder Dr. Leon van Rooyen into intensive, practical training.
The program is designed for pastors, church leaders, missionaries, and emerging ministers who want more than academic knowledge. SLT produces leaders who are anointed, balanced, and skilled — equipped to guide, teach, and inspire the Church in their generation.
World Mission Project is the home for SLT’s next generation. Under Dr. David John Philips, we are bringing this program to the Louisiana campus — where leaders can learn theology and practice it side by side, in a community of missionaries, pastors, and rising leaders.

If you are a pastor or church leader ready to invest in your leadership, register your interest below. World Mission Project will follow up with enrollment details and next steps.

Diploma Training
The School of Ministry (SOM) is a proven, church-based training pathway used by hundreds of local churches worldwide. The curriculum consists of 15 training manuals that take believers from foundational truths through to becoming effective ministers and leaders.
SOM is part of the 1M Strategy — a global movement to raise one million students who are not just students, but world changers and global leaders. Students who complete the diploma can transfer credits toward accredited GTU degrees, providing a clear path from foundational training to advanced theological education.
World Mission Project incorporates SOM as a core component of our Louisiana campus vision. Registration includes the complete set of 15 training manuals, a Manual of Operations, and a Certificate of Association. Published enrollment has been $1,100 USD — confirm on registration.
Online Diploma
The eBible Institute (eBI) is an online Diploma of Christian Ministry designed for believers who want structured Bible education from anywhere in the world. The program includes 15 subjects plus the daily devotional Capture, covering the same core curriculum as the School of Ministry in a fully digital format.
Bible education is essential for every believer in order to develop a solid foundation of faith and personal growth. eBI has trained thousands of pastors, evangelists, ministers, and missionaries worldwide, and World Mission Project points leaders to this pathway as part of the same global curriculum family we are anchoring at our Louisiana campus.
