I've I've been following Jesus since I was 4 years old. Yesterday was my birthday. I was 33 years old yesterday. That makes me following Jesus for 29 years. And that's because they raised me in a home that, man, it was just full of grace and full of mercy, and they taught me who Jesus was from a young age, and I saw it lived out.
And I man, you know, when there were when there were messes and when there were failures, there was repentance, and there was running to Jesus, and there was grace and mercy, and it was amazing, and it was wonderful. And because of that, because of mom and dad, you pouring into my life the way that you did growing up, I am who I am today, and I'm very, very grateful. And I wanna ask my father to come up. You guys, a lot of you don't know today, he's gonna be bringing the word. He's gonna be preaching today.
Alright. And I've got I've gotten to introduce him 1 time before. In many ways, I am who I am today because he spent 30 minutes to an hour a day in the backyard pitching the the baseball with me. Mom did
too. Yes.
And and kicking the soccer ball with me. When I was in the in the military, I first got to my my first submarine and, you know, new young 23 year old officer get into his first submarine, you go and meet with the captain. And the captain says, well, son, he says, are you are you a lifer? Meaning, you gonna spend 20 years in the in the navy? You know?
And I I looked at him. I said, sir. I said, I am who I am today because my parents spent 30 minutes a day, an hour a day in the backyard, pitching the baseball and kicking the soccer ball with me. And if the navy can afford for me to do that with my children, then absolutely. He looked at me, he said, I understand, son.
Yeah. He knew what that meant. So but anyway, my dad is the pastor of River of Life Church. They, it's a church that I grew up at. Grew up until, shoot, until I went to college, then came back.
I worked there for a while, and then they sent me. They sent us Real Church is a plant. They sent us out of River of Life Church. It has the same DNA, a lot of the same heart. So what you hear communicated today is is running through my veins.
It's been taught to me. You know, I know Jesus, and I know him the way that I do because of this man's relationship with Jesus. You know, a lot of times late at night I'd go I'd go out to get a snack or or or to get some some milk and cookies or, you know, whatever. And I would see my dad in the living room, lights out, on his knees, hands raised, just praying. Praying for his church.
Yeah. You can give a He wouldn't tell you that. Crying out to God for his people, and that taught me something. You know? It implanted in my life.
Hey. If I'm gonna preach something, I'm gonna live what I believe. Right? And so I I want you to know that. I also want you to know that, God's blessed him, and and now not only does he preach at at River of Life, but when you when you teach *grace and you teach mercy and you teach righteousness, you teach identity in Christ*, like, when people get it, they can't help but share it, and they grow in that understanding, they grow in that revelation of who Christ says that they are.
And now at River of Life, it's a small country church, small town. There's 5,000 people in city limits in Winnsboro, Louisiana. The closest movie theater is 40 minutes away. I mean, And there's 5,000 people in the town and 4 to 500 people in the church. Right?
10. 8 to 10% of the town. Can you imagine what it would look like if we had 8 to 10% of the town or the city here? That's crazy. But in that 4 to 500 people, they have tons of preachers.
They have tons of leaders, which is a testament to how he's leading and how he's teaching. Right? Because he's he's teaching it's not all about me. It's not all about me up here preaching. It's not all about the spotlight.
No. No. God had the same Holy Spirit that's in me is in you. The same giftings and talents and abilities, he's given me gifts and talents and abilities, but he's given you gifts and talents and abilities too. To use whether you're a businessman, whether you're serving, whether you're you're called to be in ministry, you're called to start ministries, or whatever it is.
He's given you gifts and talents and abilities, and he's great at releasing and letting that go. And because of that, *God*'s given him influence. He travels the world, does pastors conferences all over the world. I'll let you tell where you're going because, I'll get the names wrong, but I've gotten the opportunity to travel, and it's amazing the way that he speaks into their lives. So I know that today, if you'll open up your ears, open up your mind to receive from the Holy Spirit through my father, it's gonna change your life.
Thank you, dad.
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise
the lord. Okay.
I'm just gonna slide it a little. Alright? Amen. It's my second time to be preaching here, and what a joy to see what God is doing right here in Clearwater in real church. Glory to god.
We did have a chance to come down and spend some time with family. Got to see my daughter Rachel graduate and with Largo High School and yeah and have my my son-in-law and daughter Jesse from Eulie, Florida. They are also worship leaders. Took a little break to have some babies. Praise God.
My niece, Netu, is here, and my lovely wife, Faith. We're we're just it's a joy. Good to have Netu's friend, Gabe, with us as well. Glory to God. I I wanna talk to you today a message I like to call the secret of David, and we're gonna jump right in.
I always like to share this wherever I go. Just kind of a prophetic unction of what God's doing around the world, and I like to reemphasize this. Do you know that we, the body of Christ, are being *transformed* into his likeness with ever increasing glory. It says it there, 2 Corinthians-3:18, we, the body of Christ, k, Jesus is in us, and you know, the mystery is Christ in you, the "hope of glory". So he's in us, and we are renewing our mind to the truth of who he is in us and who we are in him.
And as we grow in that, we're being transformed into him. So Christ is being revealed to the world and you are the very living body of Christ. It's happening, church. And here's how it's happening. It's happening because not only did he die on the cross for us and washed us and cleansed us from all sin, he did that in order that God could live in us.
Think about it. The cross was the price, but Pentecost, and you're in a series on ghosts, the Holy Spirit, Pentecost was the goal, the prize. The reason he bled and died to cleanse you completely so that holy God could live inside of us. Amen? So if you have been born again, if you've received Christ, then you can know you have been washed completely 100% clean because God is holy and he couldn't live in you unless you've been cleansed.
Amen? So you who are born again have been cleansed from your sin past, present, and future and now the presence of God lives in you. Yes. We have this treasure in an earthen vessel and we're still going through a process of renewing our minds and our soul to the truth of our spirit. You with me?
So we're growing in truth and watch this, there's only 1 truth. *God* doesn't have a separate set of truth for the Methodist, a different set for the Baptist, another set for the non denominational or the Episcopalian. So we are in end time worldwide revival right now. I'm seeing it all over the world. Last a few months ago, my team was in India, and I was in Zambia, and then we went to Doctor Congo.
A little bit tougher country to go into, but we were there. And in this coming month in June, praise God, we'll be in Nairobi, Kenya. We'll be in Wanza, Tanzania, and then in Daresalam, Tanzania, and we'll be teaching pastors and leaders this truth of new covenant grace. So it's a joy and I just love to share his word. It's my passion to share the truth of "new covenant grace".
The message titled, the secret of David. I'm a jump right into *Acts-13* and verse 22. *Acts-13:22*. And it says here, praise the Lord, after removing Saul, he made David their king. He testified concerning him.
Amen? He said, I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart. And I just wanna pause and focus on that a minute. I have found David son of Jesse. God is saying this, a man after my own heart.
So the message titled the secret of David if we look into what is this? Why? Okay. The secret of David. What is he going to do?
What is God's heart? If we can find the secret of David we can know the very heart of God. Amen? You follow that logic? Amen?
So praise God. He says he he's a man after mine own heart and then he reveals what he's gonna do. The next line he says he will do everything I want him to do. So David, a man after God's heart, he's after God's heart and that's motivating him to do everything God wants him to do and David does everything God wants him to do. Now we know that David also committed some, you know, *sin* in a big way.
Not only that was there adultery, there was murder to cover up his adultery, yet God says he was a man after his own heart. So it wasn't the sin of his outward flesh of what he had done in his sins, It was the heart that God was concerned about and God said you're a man after mine own heart and he knew that David was willing, his heart was right and he wanted to do God's will even though there was weaknesses in his flesh. Amen. So God doesn't count us out for our weaknesses, he sees the heart. Amen.
And he called David a man after his own heart. He will do everything I want him to do. Now from Acts flip with me, You have your Bible or your notebook or however you do it. I'm old school. I have a paper 1 here.
Amen. Hebrews-10. Go with me there. Hebrews James *Peter-10* and we're gonna start in verse 5. Let's look there.
Therefore when Christ came into the world he said, *Jesus* speaking, *sacrifice* and offering you did not desire. Wow. Now Jesus is quoting from the Psalms and he's speaking this word, sacrifice and offering you did not desire but a body you have prepared for me. Wow. Okay.
He goes on to say, with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. Then he said, here I am, it is written about me in the scroll, I have come to do your will. See the connection there? David's gonna do everything that God wants him to do and Jesus said, I have come to do your will. There's a link there.
They call him son of David. Amen? Come to do all the will of God. Verse 8, first he said *sacrifices* and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire nor were you pleased with them although the law required them to be made. That's an interesting statement church.
The law required the sacrifices and the burnt offerings yet God was never pleased with them. I want you to keep in in mind here, this is a new covenant church. This church is preaching the truth. You see Jesus fulfilled the old in order to usher in the new. The old was only a type and "shadow" of what was to come.
It wasn't the real deal. Amen. The sacrifices and offerings were never going to make the people clean. The sacrifice and offerings matter of fact, it shows the whole purpose of the law was not to make anyone righteous. The purpose of the law was to show us our sin.
The law doesn't cleanse you, the law shows your sin and then condemns you for it and actually puts you to death. It's the ministry of condemnation, the ministry of death Corinthians calls it because the law shows the sin even though you're trying to do the sacrifices you're bringing the high priest and bringing all the whole Levitical tribe, all the sacrifices over and over day by day they can't cleanse us thoroughly once and for all. So it was just a revelation pointing us to the real truth that Jesus was coming and it wasn't about all of the sacrifices, it wasn't the rituals what Jesus in the new covenant is this, I have come to do your will. David, a man after God's own heart, he will do everything I want him to do, the will of God. So again, we're focusing the secret of David to understand the very heart of God himself.
We'll go on. It says verse 9, Hebrews-10. Then he said, here I here am I. I have come to do your will. He sets aside the first to establish the second.
He set aside the first covenant in order to establish a better new and living covenant. Amen. The covenant of *grace* and by that will verse 10, we have been made holy. There it is. I spoke that to you a little while ago.
We have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once and for all. Jesus Christ bled and died on the cross. He died not only for you, he died as you and you were buried with him. Your old man that was a sinner that had a nature of sin that was under the law that the law said, hey, you deserve to die. The judgment of that law fell on Jesus Christ.
He was buried as you and you're dead and you've been raised holy like him. That's why we call it good news. It's almost too good to be true. Praise God that we can stand before God knowing boldly a "100% righteous" because it's not my righteous I'm standing in, it's his righteousness I'm standing in. It's Christ in me.
Amen. So Hebrews is sharing this, is explaining this day after day the priest stands and performs the religious duties again and again. Offer the same sacrifice that can never take away sins. But when this priest had offered for all time the sacrifice of sins, he sat down at the right hand of God. *Glory* to God.
You know, he quotes it in 16, he says, this is the covenant I will make with them after that time says the Lord. I will put my law where? Not on tablets of stone. I will put my law in their hearts. Praise God.
I will write them in their minds. Then he adds, their sins and lawless lawless acts I will remember no more. 1 of my favorite scriptures in Romans, you know, 4 8, blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never impute, never count against him. Why? Because the blood sacrifice once and for all was so good.
It's an ongoing work. It cleansed me yesterday, today and forget forever and I'm trusting in what Christ has done. I'm trusting in his finished work. We're teaching pastors to teach their leaders and their people all over the world to say that phrase. Everybody say this with me, the finished work of Christ.
Amen. We have entered into his rest. His work is finished and now I can rest in the grace of what he has provided for us. Isn't that good news? Just the peace of God comes over as I'm even speaking it.
I just sense his grace and his peace just touching hearts because it's so true. It's so amazing. That's why we call it amazing grace. Hallelujah. Amen.
Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more in chapter 10 verse 18, and where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin. It is done. Now, go with me as we look and see a verse that gives us the clue into understanding the secret of David. Go with me to Psalm 1 32. Psalm 1 32.
And we're gonna look at verse 1 through 5 to start. Psalm 1 32. Oh, Lord, remember David and all hardships he endured. He swore an oath to the Lord and made a vow to the mighty 1 of Jacob. I will not enter my house or go to my bed or will allow no sleep to my eyes, no slumber to my eyelids till I find a place for the Lord, a dwelling for the mighty 1 of Jacob.
I present to you to think and understand this is the secret of David. This is Remember he'd said, David will do everything I want him to do. What is it? This is the heart of God as shown in the heart of David. David is saying, you know, my history of my people, you know, coming out of Egypt, wandering in the wilderness, going across the Jordan River, entering into the promised land.
You know, all of this time we hear of the tabernacle in the wilderness. They made a temporary tent and that temporary tent, praise God had the you know, the outer court, the inner court, the holy place and the most holy place. Inside that most holy place was the ark of the covenant. The ark of the covenant was crafted exactly like God instructed Moses to tell his craftsman to make it and he said this, I'm going to meet with you there between the cherubim, the angels, the angels wings on top of the ark, I'm gonna meet with you there and for 40 years they would set up that camp. They first set up the tabernacle and then they would had 3 tribes to the North, 3 to the South, to the East, and to the West and this is how they traveled.
The glory of the Lord would actually descend and they could see his glory you know, shining over that tabernacle and when the glory cloud lifted, Moses said, hey boys, it's time to go and the Levites would pack up the tabernacle and all of the tribes would pack up their tents and they would follow the cloud, a cloud by day and a fire by night and when the glory cloud stopped they would stop first to set up the tabernacle and then to set up the camp. Are you with me? So everywhere they went they were following the presence of the living God. Think about this, in the Old Testament you had a "physical reality". They saw and heard God speak.
They saw the glory of God and it was all pointing to a New Testament reality that's coming. Amen. That has come today. So that glory cloud would lift. So I want you to know that everywhere the ark of the covenant was was the presence of the living God and the presence of living God was where?
In the center of the camp of his people. Amen. This praise God, God wants and desires to live in the center of his people and to be with us, to live with us just as it was in the garden when God walked with Adam and Eve in perfect harmony became before sin came into the world that's what God's going to do again. He praise the Lord is restoring everything and he's gonna live with us forever. I'm telling you praise God, the heart of God, the heart of David was to bring the presence of God, the ark to the city Jerusalem in the middle of the people.
So we can understand what is God's heart by looking at the secret of David. He said you know what I've seen you know they they carried this ark, they built the tabernacle, now we've got the ark in a temporary place and then the ark was stolen by the Philistines for a while. It rested here. It rested there. And David had it on his heart, the heart of God.
He said, I'm not gonna let my eyes slumber. I'm not gonna close my eyelids. I'm not gonna do anything till I develop a plan and work it out to bring that ark, the presence of God to its right resting place in Jerusalem in the middle of the people because that's God's heart to dwell in the center of his people. Amen? So if you follow the old old testament and follow the history of the ark and see where it went, David said, hey, I'm going to do this.
Let's look. Let's look a little bit and see. Go with me to Deuteronomy. *Deuteronomy-12*. I wanna show you something here.
The Bible says as he was giving the law, Jude Deuteronomy-12 looking at 4 and 5, You must not worship the Lord your God in their way, the people of the of the land you're going into, but you are to seek a place the Lord your God will choose from among the tribes to put his name there for his dwelling. You're going to enter this promised land. Don't worship God anywhere. Don't just go here or there and establish your own worship however you see fit as the people of the land are doing. No.
I'm gonna choose a particular place where I'm gonna put my name, my person, my presence in the midst of you and don't go anywhere else. It is there you're gonna bring your sacrifices. It's there you're gonna fulfill the feast. It's there you're going to come. So he's telling them ahead of time but he doesn't tell them where it is.
Praise the Lord. To that place you must go. He says it again. Praise God in verse 11. Deuteronomy-12 verse 11.
Then to the place the Lord your God will choose as a dwelling for his name. Verse 13, be careful not to sacrifice your burnt offerings anywhere you please. Offer them only at the place the Lord will choose. Amen? Again it says it in verse 18 Deuteronomy-12, instead you are to eat them in the presence of your Lord God at the place the Lord your God will choose.
Verse 21, if the place where the Lord your God chooses to put his name, so everywhere we see God telling them there's going to be a certain place where I'm gonna put my name. I'm going to choose it out of all the tribes of Israel, the land I've divided and that's where you know I'm going to meet with you and talk with you in the very presence, in my presence. So he has a place he's going to choose and as we follow the story church, praise the Lord, we begin to see it unfold that that place he established was the city of Jerusalem and the place he established for that temple to be built, for that ark to be brought, the physical temple was praise God on that mount in Jerusalem where God was going to meet with them. Now this ark had been in a temporary tent at Shiloh for a while. It had been captured by the Philistines.
They gave it up because they couldn't handle the presence of God. You know, he has a a holy people called out of the world to be his where his presence is. Well now, the ark comes and it stays at 1 house. David tries to get it and when he goes to try to get it the first time, he didn't do it in the prescribed way by the law. He tried to carry it in an ark, you know, he tried to carry that ark on on top of a of a of a crate and a cart and they're carrying it and then they tried to touch to the presence of God and you know, the wrath came out and they couldn't do it.
It wasn't the prescribed way. David looks it up in the law and he sees that the ark is only to be carried by consecrated ones. The priests that have been consecrated to carry the ark and they carry the ark and he goes to get it and he's bringing it in with a music festival and dancing and rejoicing and they're carrying the ark of the covenant. You see church, they're carrying the presence of the living God. You know the power of the presence of God.
You know they've made movies about it. You've maybe you've seen Raiders of the Lost Ark and you know Hitler wanted to use that power or something else. No. The presence of the living God is what they're talking about and the way to carry it is through someone that's consecrated holy, been washed by the blood of Jesus, by believing in what he's did what he has done, and then you can carry the very presence of the living God inside of you. That's why he cleansed you.
So he could live in you. Hallelujah. Only to that place that I will choose. Now go with me a little further back to Exodus-25. *Exodus-25*.
And looking at verse 8, he said, then have them make a sanctuary for me and I will dwell among them. Make this tabernacle and all its furnishings exactly like the pattern I will show you. *Exodus-25* in verse 22. He says, there above the cover between the 2 cherubim that are over the ark of the testimony, I will meet with you and give you all my commands to the Israelites. I'm painting a picture in the old covenant.
Praise God we're a new covenant, new belief church, but all of the old covenant unfolds in a deeper way when we have the Holy Spirit inside of us teaching it. It all points to Christ. So here the very arc of the covenant is a type and shadow of Jesus Christ himself. The wood was made of a pure wood, it's an acacia wood, it was made, it symbolizes Jesus' humanity. He was a man, but yet he was a pure man.
That wood was overlaid in pure gold, symbolizing Jesus' deity. So praise God, he's son of man, he's 1 of us, but he's son of God. He is the box of the ark of the covenant. Inside of the ark went 3 things, inside went the book of the law and then the bible says as a testimony against us for always breaking the law. Inside went a jar of manna, God provided the manna, the bread from God.
*Jesus* is that living bread. It came down from heaven and fed them in the wilderness. Inside of the ark went the jar of manna then the Bible says in the Old Testament as a testimony against them because they murmured and complained about his provision. Inside the ark of the covenant with Aaron's rod that budded when they complained about Moses and Aaron being the leaders they said we want somebody from our tribe or our language or our people to go and they brought their different staffs and Aaron's rod budded so they understood that it was God's chosen 1 to lead. So inside you have, watch this church, you have every type of man's sin.
1, you have man's rebellion against his word, his law. 2, you have man's rebellion against his provisions, whining and complaining. 3, you have man's rebellion against his appointed leadership in the 5 fold ministry of the body of Christ. So you have every type of man's rebellion, *sin* is inside of the ark. And the wonderful thing is, he said, want you to make a cover out of pure gold symbolizing it's coming straight from God and I want you to call this cover the **atonement cover** or the mercy seat.
In other words, here's the box, *Jesus Christ, son of man and son of God, inside of Christ goes man sin and it's covered with mercy*. And Jesus *blood* fulfills the justice of the old covenant. He had to die and pay the price for all of our sin because the law said you must die. The judgment and wrath of God justified came down on him instead of me, instead of you. The blood was applied on the atonement cover and now God is able to meet with man because now the sin is gone.
That box held the rebellion of all of man. Jesus was on the cross and the bible says he who knew no sin he became sin for us. The box of his body he received your sin and your sin and mine. He became our sin and the wrath of God fell on him instead of us and the blood was applied once and for all by the high priest and it washed the sin of the whole world. Hallelujah.
For whoever believes it can receive it. Hallelujah. And the reason why he did that, now the presence of God. Getting back to the story of David. David is about to know he's about to go on.
He's getting close to the time for him to to sleep, to leave this world. And he talks to the prophet Nathan, and then he says, what do you want? He says, you know, I I'm living in a palace and God's still living in a tent. It's time to build him a temple. And Nathan at first says okay, do everything God's put in your heart and then later he says no, you get ready but it's not you who's gonna build the temple of the living God, it's your offspring.
So in the physical, David started rounding up things from all over the world. Ships came in with cedars of Lebanon, gold and it's unimaginable the amount of gold and silver that came, all kind of rubies, all kind of stones, precious stones came in to build the temple of the living *God* but he got it ready but it was Solomon his son that did it. But when the prophet Nathan spoke church and said your offspring's gonna build it, he wasn't really talking about that temple Solomon built. When Solomon built the temple, when it was complete, he had a dedication day and the glory cloud, the same glory cloud that would come down in the wilderness and be over the tabernacle in the wilderness came and filled the temple with such glory, the priest couldn't do the work. Thousands all around blowing the trumpet celebrating the temple was built.
They're dedicating the temple. The glory comes down and fills the house. You're talking about the Holy Spirit. Praise God. The very presence of God fills the house in such a big way.
But church, that's nothing compared to what's happening today for Nathan said your offspring's gonna build it. He wasn't talking about Solomon, he was talking about Jesus. He wasn't talking about a temple made with human hands, he was talking about this temple that you are the living stones. He's bringing them out of Africa. He's bringing them out of India, out of China.
I'm seeing it. It's happening. Praise God. Jesus is being lifted up and people are coming to him all over the world and we as living stones are being brought together and as we come together in the truth of his word, it's this temple where god wants to live. I'm telling you.
Praise god. The secret of David is that god wants to live in his body and you are the body of Christ. So the heart of David was to bring the presence of God to live in the midst of his people. The heart of God is to cleanse us and he sent Jesus to do that that he might live in us and this is what's happening. I'm telling you, praise God, you are the living breathing body of Christ himself.
Those who have heard the word of *Jesus* and recognized from the purpose of the law that yes, I'm a sinner, yes, I can't do this, I need to be saved from myself. The problem is not my sins, the problem is my nature, my sin nature. Praise God. Jesus Christ, you came to this earth without that nature. You're the only 1 who fulfilled the law and lived the perfect life, and praise God, you're offering us, praise God, your righteousness.
You took our sin and the penalty for it in order to give us your righteousness. I'm so glad he did that. I'm so glad in the old testament picture of all of the sacrifices that were done when they would when those families, the head of each family would come to Jerusalem fulfilling what the word said, don't worship and bring your sacrifices anywhere. You must come to the place I'm gonna put my name where the presence of God is when they would travel thousands of miles and come on their donkeys and their camels and bring their family at Passover to the place where God had put his name. They would bring that lamb for sacrifice for the sins of their family and when they brought it to the priest, the priest would not examine the man.
The priest would examine the lamb. God's not examining me for all of my sin, he examined the lamb of God who took my sin away and he accepted the lamb so I'm in it. I'm accepted in him because I'm in Christ. That's the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He took our sin and he gives us his righteousness.
Man, I see my little daughter. What a joy. See her praise and Lord with such freedom. Why? Because she knows who she is in Christ.
We can't get up here if we examine our faults and our failures and our struggles we've had. Lord, who am I to preach this word? And he reminds me, it's me and you that's preaching this word. Walk around knowing with a sense of, you know, boldness that I have entered "behind the veil" into the presence of God. Think about it.
The story, it all comes together. The more we study it and hear the word and grow in it, the picture of the old testament becomes real truth. Now you have a deeper revelation and see the reason, praise God, Jesus, when he died that veil was torn because behind the veil was the ark of the covenant, the presence of God, and no 1 could go in except the high priest. But because Jesus, our high priest, has went in, we can go in with him. Praise God, church.
You can live behind the veil in the presence of the living God, righteous and holy, not by your religious duties or what you do or don't do. It's not about that. It's about what he has done for you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
So we teach all around the world, pastors and leaders, to **teach the church** not about their sin, but to teach the church about their righteousness. So we can boldly and confidently walk with God, you see all of my righteousness, I'm trusting in him. If I were to evaluate, I'm sure my son has shared this with you because it's been in him for a long time. If I were to evaluate myself and how righteous I am and start looking at what I've done and what I can't, what I haven't done, really, I'm evaluating self. I'd be self righteous.
But when I look at it and see that *God* examines the lamb and not the man, now I know when he asks how righteous you are, I can say 100% because it's not my righteousness, it's his. What a joy. Walk around knowing where you're going to work. Praise God. It's Memorial Day.
You have a day off tomorrow, hopefully. Whatever you're doing, bringing home to your family, walking into a tense situation, walking into a problem on the job, walking into wherever you go, you're walking, carrying the presence of God. Have the confidence. Hey, me and God are about to walk in. Me and God are walking down this aisle because he lives in me, the spirit of the living God, rivers of "living water" live in us, the **Holy Spirit** and flows out of us.
We ask Jesus Christ, he says, save me from my sin, *cleanse* me. And we don't neglect to say and fill me. Fill me with your presence. Fill me with the power to be an effective witness in filling us with this same *spirit* that shine with glory in the tabernacle in the wilderness, that shine with glory at the dedication of Solomon's temple, that shine with glory is now filling us his presence in that glory. Praise God, as we come together is flowing out of us and touching others.
Hallelujah. Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you for your word. We thank you to understand in a deeper way the secret of David, that David wanted to bring your presence in the midst of the people because that is your heart to cleanse us so you could live in us and flow through us. Bless each and every 1, Lord God. Lord, as we hear your word, our mind changes more and more.
We are being *transformed* into your likeness with ever increasing *glory* as we grow in the knowledge of this truth. Bless each and every home and family in Jesus' name. Amen. Thank you all. Love you, brother.
My son and my brother. So
dad and I tag team sometimes. It's a lot of fun. But as he's as he's talking, just remember everything that he was talking about in the Old Testament has value for us today. It has value for what we're we're, how we live our lives today. Everything in the Old Testament was a shadow.
It was a physical reality of what's happening spiritually today. K? So he was talking about the Holy Spirit filling the temple. And as he said, we are the temple. Check this out.
*1 Corinthians-6:19. It says, do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit*? Who is in you as we learned from ghosts last week? The Holy Spirit, whom you have received from God. You are not your own.
You were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies. Check this out. With everything that he was saying, it's like this. If you've given your life to Jesus, right, the Holy Spirit is in you.
So it's a it's a big deal. God inside of you, the infinite God in you now today, empowering you to live out a life like Jesus. Let me put it like this. That means just so that you understand what you have. Imagine that you have a dollar.
You have $1 in your pocket. Now when you're walking through a crowd of people, you're walking in the in the city, and and I mean, there's a ton of people, and you know that there's people trying to get that dollar from or trying to rob people's pockets. You're you only have $1 in your pocket, so you're not really worried about it. You're swinging your hands free. You're just fine.
No big deal. I mean, you're not really even thinking about the dollar in your pocket because you're probably used to carrying 5 or 10 or something like that. So you you got this dollar in your pocket. It's not even bothering you 1 bit. But now let's imagine.
Let's put a different spin on things. Let's imagine that now you have a check that someone gave you for $1,000,000 in your pocket. You have a $1,000,000 check-in your pocket. Now you're walking through the same crowd, through the streets of the city, and as you're walking around, your mind you know, before it was just a dollar. Your mind's on something else.
It's no big deal. You know? You just walk and it's not bothering you. It's it's just a dollar. But now you have a $1,000,000 check-in your pocket.
So now as you're walking, your mind is on the value that is in your pocket. Right? You know, you you you're thinking and you're looking and you're looking around and and no matter what you're doing in the back of your mind, you know what value you have in your pocket. It's the same. Exactly what my father was preaching.
See the heart of David was the Holy Spirit in the temple. Well, because of Jesus, because he's cleansed us, because we and if you haven't, if you don't know him, you can know him so that you can have that value in your life. God in you, but because of what Jesus did, we have the Holy Spirit in us. It's the value. It's much more than 1000000 dollars.
Right? *God paid his life for you. You're worth the very life of God, and God, the infinite God who created the universe* in you. Do you know? Do you understand the value that he that is in you?
You know, if you understand the value, then it's on your mind constantly. You know who you are, and you know what you carry. It matters. Every conversation you have in the back of your mind, you're like, man, God in me, impacted people through me. But it's not just me because I'm a pastor.
It's you guys too. If you've given your life to Jesus, you have a relationship with him and it's amazing and it's wonderful and it's awesome. It's the value that you carry. It matters today.
