You can start by trusting that God is good even when circumstances feel difficult. Invite Jesus to heal your heart, deliver you from strongholds, and guide your financial decisions today. Come forward in prayer to receive the wholeness and new life He promises for you.
My name is David John Phillips. I have the "joy and the honor" of getting to be your pastor. There's no place I'd rather be. There's nothing that I'd rather be doing than this right here. Getting to speak to you, sometimes getting to listen as other people preach up here, which is awesome and encouraging.
Man, didn't didn't Gabe do an amazing job last week? Wasn't that powerful? You've got a hand what he spoke. I would encourage you,
if you don't, or if you
didn't hear it, there's a little bit of an echo. If you can make this a little drier, that would be great, if possible. But, I would encourage you to go back and listen to the podcast last week, if you didn't catch it. Our podcast can be found on our website, or any podcast app. Just search Real Church Clearwater.
Or, you can go to YouTube and watch the service from last week. It's very important. I wanted the first message of the year to be on righteousness. And, Gabe had been studying that. It's it's vital.
*Hebrews-5:13* says, if anyone being still on milk is still an infant, they are unacquainted with the teaching of righteousness. So what that means, this is how important, it's it's the structure of who you are, it's the foundation of of the body of Christ. And structure equals function. It just does. Go you'll you'll you'll check you'll get it when you watch the message.
But, this is how important it is. If you if you've been a Christian for 60 years, or if you've been a Christian for 30 years, or you've been a Christian for 3 years, or 3 months, and you feel like you're in a cycle of moving forward in Christ and falling back and repeating the same 6 weeks, or the same 6 months, or the same year over and over and over. Some people have been Christian for 20 years and have repeated the first year of their Christianity for 20 years. Some people have been Christians for 6 months and have repeated the first few weeks of their Christianity for 6 months, and they're just in this cycle of not being able to mature. The problem is a lack of an understanding of righteousness.
Anyone on milk, being still an infant, is unacquainted with the teaching of righteousness. Hebrews-5:13. I I encourage you. Ask the Holy Spirit, dive into understanding righteousness. Go listen to that message.
And as you get it, as you begin to get it, you will grow in your understanding of who he is and who you are in him. And there's no end to the depth of the teaching of righteousness. We all need to grow in it. Amen? Amen.
Awesome. And then, also, I don't think I welcome the new people. So if you're here, if this is your first time, we're glad you're here, by the way.
I mean, thank you for
yeah. Thank for
choosing to spend your Sunday here with us, and I want you to know you're welcome. You're welcome to come back anytime. You're welcome to be a part of this body of Christ. And then also, Friday night, we had prayer here from 07:30 to 08:30 ish, and it was awesome. Like, every Friday night for the month of January, we wanna start our year with prayer.
And so encouraging the church to come together on Friday nights here, 07:30 to 08:30 ish. You can bring your kids. We don't have childcare, but they can pray with us. And it's just powerful. Prayer precedes movement.
That's how important it is. And I know if you weren't here, you were probably on assignment by God doing ministry somewhere else. Right? I would encourage you to pray and ask him to assign you to come here this Friday night, 07:30 to 08:30 ish. And, man, we learned that when you see the answers to your prayer, your joy is complete.
Your joy is fulfilled. You wanna you want complete and fullness of joy? Come and pray with us. You'll see over this year the answers to those prayers that God's as God moves in your life, in your family, in this church, also in Pinellas County, in many churches, and around the world. And, you'll have the joy of knowing you got to participate.
God invited you to participate in the accomplishing of his will through prayer. And, chances are, if he asks you to pray about it, he might, he may just use you as part of the answer to your own prayer, which is pretty cool. Amen?
Awesome. Okay. So, we are starting a new series today titled *God* is Good.
Man, you guys already know. If you've been in church any amount of time, you know
what I'm talking about. If you haven't, you're gonna learn right now. Are you ready? God is good. And all the time.
Alright. If you didn't say it, let's say it again. Let's say
it with faith, like some some some what was it? That's it. You know?
Is that it? Did I say it right? There we go. Let's say it
with some, like, some gumption. Ready? God is good. All the time. Whoo.
And, all the time? God is good. Amen.
Do you really believe that?
I
*believe* that you do. How do you know you believe it? Let ask you some tough questions just to get your thinker going. How do you know that you know that you believe God is good? All the time.
And, all the time God is good. Let's get that thinker going a little bit. Do you respond with his *goodness* in every situation? Do you respond with his goodness in the way that you speak? And your response in the in the midst of circumstance in his goodness.
I'm not trying to condemn you. I'm trying to I want to get your thinker going because you can. You can respond with his goodness in the midst of everything. As a matter of fact, that's who you are created to be. You are created to see his goodness and to respond to his goodness.
And to respond in a way that shows his goodness from the way that you speak, the way that you walk so that others see his goodness in and through you. See, I don't want in any shape or form that saying God is good all the time and all the time "God is good" to just become some cliche that we say at church because we're around other believers. But then, we go when we leave from church and circumstances get tough or things happen, we begin to question God's goodness based on what we see. So, my question is, what do you see? "What do you see"?
Let's say that together. What do you see?
What do you see?
See, I I want you to I want that to anchor. That's why I have you say it. You you remember something when you hear it, when you see it, when you say it, you know, and then when you do it. What do you see? Jesus says in Matthew-5:14, you are the light of the world.
*Jesus* said that. He said, I'm the light of the world first, talking about himself. But then, he turned to the disciples and he said, you are the light of the world. *Matthew-6:22* says, the eye is the lamp of the body.
So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be "full of light". Another version says, if your eye is single, meaning, I'm singularly or single how do I say that? Singularly. Singularly. My wife helps me.
So does miss Judy. Singularly focused on his goodness, on who he is, my and because God is light, my life will reflect his light and impact the world around me. But then it goes on to say, that if you're I I gotta I need to read it. 6 did I only give you $6.22? I apologize.
No. Your whole but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness or if your eye is evil. Meaning, if you're focused on here instead of filtering this through his goodness, then your whole body will be full of darkness. And only that, if the light in you is darkness, how great is that darkness? So my question is, what do you see when you look at the world?
What is your primary focus when you
look at life? Day to day, do you see the goodness of God? What you primarily see
is a good tell of what you've allowed yourself to be full of.
Do you see the worst in people, or do you see the best? Are you a glass half empty kinda guy, or a "glass half full" kinda guy? And, I know we say that, and it's kind of cliche, and glass glass Well, people say, I'm a glass half empty kind of guy, and they they stand confidently in that. Well, then, if that's the case, if that's really who you are, then you're not born again. And I know that's a a a shake, but I wanna shake you into truth.
See, the Bible says, without faith, it's impossible to please god, and faith is the substance of things hoped for. So if you're a person of faith, if you've been born again, then you are a person of hope. And so when you look at that glass from now on, see it half full because that is who you are. Amen? Amen.
When you walk into a room, do you see everything that's wrong, or do you see everything that's right? When you walk into a room, do you
see the problems, or do you see the potential?
Because chances are, if you see the problems, if that's what your focus is, you may be the problem. We
need to change what we see, and we need to change how we see. And, I wanna help you today, because I love you, to shift your focus. *God* is good All the time. And all the time God is good. That's how you shift your focus.
*Jesus said in John-3:3*, truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born again, they cannot
cannot see the kingdom of God. I talked to a lot of people about Jesus. A lot of people say, I believe in Jesus. I go to church. I'm catholic.
I'm baptist. I'm presbyterian. I'm non denominational. I grew up in church. My parents went to church.
And then I'll say, have you ever been born again? And many of them will say no. And the fact is, if you've never been born again, then what you have seen is not the kingdom of God. Because Jesus said, unless you've been born again, you cannot see the kingdom of God. Amen?
Amen. The
kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. He is good, and he is faithful. And if you've been born again, then that is your lens for how you see the world. I wanna see the world through God's eyes. I wanna see what he sees.
I wanna see his kingdom everywhere that I look. And when I see God's goodness in an area, I represent God's goodness in that area. In my workplace, I don't wanna see what everybody else sees, all of the junk that's happening. When I walk into my workplace, I wanna see his goodness because I'm looking through the eyes of faith. And if his goodness isn't manifest yet, I wanna see what he sees and see the potential and then speak as if it is.
I wanna see my family instead of seeing all of the junk. I wanna see the goodness of Jesus and speak by faith until it it becomes reality. See, as those who are born again, we can see the kingdom of God everywhere we look. And what we see, what we focus on will be what we say. Because out of out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks.
And what you see, that is what you're full of.
Right? We need to change how we see and continually shift what we see to how *God* sees. I wanna give you an example. I've been praying to "see people like god sees them". You know, when god speaks his word over you, when God speaks, he speaks faith over you.
He speak like, faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word. He speaks his words so that you can have faith. Stand in that faith. And then complete faith is not is is hearing his words, standing in it, believing it, and obeying it, and walking forward. Faith without obedience is dead because faith without works is dead.
But that obedience comes by hearing, trusting, and standing because you know he loves you and what he says is good. Right? Yeah. Okay. Watch this.
In second, I didn't give you this verse, I don't believe, but in 2 Corinthians-5, It says, oh that's first Corinthians. But I want I want to read this because this might shock some of you Verse 18 and 19. All this is from God who through *Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry* of reconciliation. That is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to himself. Listen to this.
Not counting their who? The world's. Trespasses sins against them and entrusting to us that message of reconciliation. See, Jesus paid for the sins of the whole world. And so our message is, your sins have been paid for by Jesus.
*God's not counting your sins against you. He loves you. You're forgiven. You're loved. You're healed*.
You're his. You're a new creation in Christ Jesus. Why don't you receive his word by faith so it can become your reality? That is our message. I'm not talking about a universal gospel.
That's not what I'm
talking about. I'm talking about what God says. And when we tell people, they have the choice either to hear the word of God, stand in it, believe it, and walk in it, and see it become their reality, or they have the choice to reject the word of God and and go their own way and be cast from his presence for eternity. When God sees you, he sees what he created you to be, and he speaks his word over you, praying, hoping, wanting, *willing* you to receive what he says about you so that you would not perish and be separated from him for eternity. It is not God's will that any man should perish.
He loves
you. When I see people, I wanna speak his word over them by faith. I've been praying that God would give me eyes to see people like he sees them, and I wanna give you an example of this. I went to a conference this past week, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. The conference went Wednesday, but I had to come home.
And the last night, Tuesday night while I was there, the lunch session while the the person was preaching or before he was preaching, was standing there during worship. And this lady, this older lady, I think she was 85 years old, she came in and to sit, and she sat like a a couple of chairs behind me. And I looked back. Remember, I've been praying to see people as God sees them. So I looked back and and she, you know, to the minds I mean, the normal eye, I guess.
You know, she kinda looked awkward. She had her hand raised, and she was moving her head like this and and moving her mouth and it, you know, it kinda could could've looked awkward. But when I saw her, I just saw, man, she was praying and I felt in my spirit that when she prays, God hears her and her prayers "shake nations". And she's the kind of prayer warrior that that, man, when she prays, you know God listens. I just I didn't know her from Adam.
And once again, if you just looked at her, it could have been looked awkward, but man, that's what I felt in my spirit. So I I I walked over her, and I I I touched her, kinda interrupted her. I said, ma'am. And it was a holy moment when I like, I had a tear in my eye, you know. Like, ma'am, when I see you, I just see someone who prays, and god hears and the prayer of
a righteous person is powerful and effective and and your prayers are powerful and effective and I just want you
to know, man, I I wanted to honor you in your walk with Jesus. She's like, oh, thank you. You know, and it's kinda hard to understand her and she's like, yeah, I hear god and I pray and it was awesome and and so, I just kinda felt led to sit by her. So, I sat by her because I wanted to honor her. Man, I was that was god answering my prayer.
Well, then we sat down. The moment was over. It's time to listen to preachers. She just kept talking. And it wasn't like, you know, laughing at the preacher and saying amen and no, she was talking to me.
And I I really couldn't understand a lot of what she was saying, if I'm honest. And, in a normal eye, it was kinda getting annoying. I wanna tell her to be quiet. I'm trying to listen, like, trying to take notes. And I had the choice either to continue to see her by *faith* or to begin to see her by what she's doing.
Right? Do do am I was I gonna fight to see her by faith or let the annoyance of what I'm not getting, not getting my way, cause me to be frustrated. And then now, what I see changes how I feel, so it changes how I treat her. Because what you how you respond comes out of what you see. Right?
Eyes the lamp of the body. Whole body's full of light. So *God*'s not done teaching me a lesson. Gets done preaching and everything. It's about 02:30.
You know, there's a break or 3. There's a break, and we go get a dinner type deal before it starts at 7. I think it was like 3, something like that. So we get done and she, you know, is talking to me and she says, you wanna take me to dinner? And, know, so I'm seeing her through the eyes of faith in the beginning and like, man, so I'm a take her to dinner and she's gonna man, she's probably gonna share some stories about her life and Jesus and and and pray for me, and it's gonna be awesome.
Yes, ma'am. I'd love to take you to dinner.
It was just pretty forward of her. Right?
And so so I take her to the place that she wanted to go, and and we sit there. And, man, you know, she's talking and and and and talking and I'm not I'm not really sure a lot of what she's saying. And and some of the testimony she's sharing about how God answered prayer and it's awesome, but it's, you know, it it in a in a natural mind, it's not what I said about her in the beginning. Make sense? Yeah.
So once again, I have I have the opportunity to either see her through what I see in the natural and then treat her the way that I see in the natural. Or I have the opportunity to see her through the eyes of *faith* and treat her as God sees her because he sees her as a mighty woman of God, The righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. 1 whose prayers shake nations. And, I can talk to her that way, so that if she believes that already, it just encourages her. And, if she doesn't, it pulls her forward by faith to where God tells God sees
her. See
how you see the situation, how you see the circumstance, how you see the people matters because it determines how you respond. Do we respond by faith based on his goodness? Or do we respond by flesh based on the natural, what we see? Make sense? And I wanna see people like Jesus does.
*Jesus* did this very same thing. I'm not just out, like, in la la land when I'm when I'm talking
to you about this. Jesus, when he talked to Simon, he said, you are Peter, and on this rock, your faith, my church will be built. And, he knew Peter was gonna deny him 3 times. Yeah. I mean, Peter was a little rough around the edges.
He knew he knew that was gonna happen. He knew Peter was gonna later rebuke Jesus, and yet he still spoke to him
as *God* created him to be by his purpose. And then, Peter rose to the occasion. Amen? He preached the first sermon and 3,000 people got saved on this rock. That faith that Jesus is Lord.
That's the way God speaks to people. Think about Gideon, weakling, hiding in a hole, the weakest of the weak, and God speaks to him through the angel of the Lord. You're a mighty man of valor. That's who you are. Well, faith comes by hearing.
He has the choice to believe it and stand in it or reject it, man. Thank God. Gideon believed it and stand in it, stood in it. He became the mighty man of valor that God's word spoke. Amen?
It's awesome. When my eye is singularly focused on what he made me to be able to see, the kingdom of God, then my whole body is full of his kingdom. I overflow it to the world around me. When my eyes singularly focused on his goodness, his righteousness, his peace and joy, then my whole body is full of his peace, his joy, his righteousness and his goodness, and I reflect it. That's why it says, seek first the kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
What you seek first is your focus in a situation. And usually, what you focus on is what comes out of your mouth. Right? *God* wants to shift our focus. See, you, if you've been born again, you're children of the king.
You're children of God. You have his righteousness and all of his kingdom in you already. Now, it's a matter of believing it and then shifting your mindset to be able to see his kingdom and his goodness where you go so that you can live it out and impact the world around you. Amen? So, *Jesus said, Matthew fifth Matthew-5:14-16*.
Already quoted a little of this verse. He said, you are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden, nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket. But they put it
on a stand, and it gives light to the whole house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your father in heaven. My question is, how do we let our light shine?
Alright. You guys ready? Philippians-2.
Really? US 19?
That's awesome.
How do we let his life shine? Apparently, we take US 19.
Yeah. To Belcher, The Middle School. Okay. Real church, Sunday morning.
Alright. Phil Philippians-2:14-15.
How do we let his light shine? Ready? Do all things without grumbling or questioning. Another version says, do all things without grumbling or disputing. Another version says, do all things without grumbling or complaining.
How many things? All things.
Do all things without grumbling or questioning that you may be blameless and innocent children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world. You wanna shine like lights in the world?
Then do all things without grumbling and complaining. And, man, when people see that, it's not normal, it's not natural. You'll be shining. When we grumble and complain as believers, man, it breaks my heart when I see a Christian. And and the most of the time when I see them, all out of their mouth is grumbling and complaining and questioning.
Because that tells me their focus is not his kingdom. And, what they're doing is they're allowing their what they see to be shifted by what's going on. So, they're living with a "basket over their head", not letting their light shine. And, man, I wanna take their their little head, and I wanna turn it up to heaven, so
they can see his kingdom,
and filter their circumstance through what he says about it. You know, it's amazing the way that the enemy gets you to grumble is to cause you to question. That 1 1 version says, do not grumble or question. He calls you to question. He calls you to question who God is, question his goodness.
He causes you to question who you are, and he calls you to question who others are and how he's working in the world. That's what he did in the beginning. Did God, Adam and Eve, did God really say? Oh, he didn't say that. No.
And then he contradicted God. He said, no, you can you won't surely die. Right? That's what he does in every situation. He to get you to grumble and complain.
He causes you to question God, to question who he made you to be, or to question others. It's his tactic. If you're born again, you can see his kingdom and his goodness. So how dare us ever grumble and complain again? Our grumbling and complaining is preventing those around us from seeing Jesus.
We're made to shine. See, I'm I'm not trying to condemn you. I'm trying to love you well. When you hear grumbling and complaining out of your coming out of your mouth, there should be "alarm goes off". I said, wait a second, my focus is wrong.
Every time. When I'm at home, and I'm grumbling and complaining, there's an alarm goes off. It's my wife. She says, that's flesh. I don't wanna hear that.
I ain't even joking. Ladies, don't do that unless your man's ready for that. It'll cause a big old fight. But man, I I've been trained. When she hears me grumbling and complaining, she'll say that's flesh.
Yes, ma'am. You're right. And usually it happens when I'm doing chores around the house. A lot of times it's the dishes. You've heard me talk about the dishes before.
Me and the dishes, we have an understanding. And the understanding is this, if I'm not listening to a book about Jesus and I'm not or I'm not singing a worship song while I'm doing the dishes, I'm gonna grumble and complain. So when I go to do the dishes, I listen to a book about Jesus or I start singing a worship song or a praise song and it keeps my focus where it should
be. Amen?
And transparently, I haven't done the dishes in a while, so I need to. I wanna teach you a song I sing, and I think it's gonna help you. We're about to have a praise break. But I wanna encourage you to sing this song with me. And I promise if you sing it from the heart, you won't be able to not smile.
That's double negative. You'll you'll have to smile. If you sing it from the heart, you might even do a little jig. Because, I do it when I'm doing the dishes. It's just fun.
When you think about his goodness, and you really believe that he's good, you can't help but smile. So, if you believe that God is good all the time, and all the time he's good, make sure to tell your face so your face believes it too, and you smile. Amen? I encourage you to stand up with me. Now, when you catch on, or if you already know it, please sing it.
I'm I'm teaching you a weapon I use, and I encourage you to use it.
Alright? God is good all the time. He put a song of praise in this heart of mine. God is good all the time. In the darkest night, his light will shine.
*God* is good. God is good all the time. Come on. Sing it
a little louder. Come on. Like you mean it.
God is good all the time. He put a song of praise in this heart of mine. God is good all the time. Through the darkest night, his light will shine. God is good.
God is good all the time. Now, this is why he's good.
This is why we can say that. We were sinners,
so unworthy. Still for us, he chose to die. It'll make you
wanna wash the dishes.
Filled us with his Holy Spirit. Now, we can stand and testify that his love is everlasting, and his mercies, they will never end. God is good all the time. From the heart, he put a song of praise in this heart of mine. God is good all the time through the darkest night.
His light will shine. God is good. God is good. God is good. God is good.
*God* is good. God is good. God is good. The time. Amen?
You can be seated.
Psalms-1 0 7 verse 1. Says, oh, give thanks to the Lord for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever. Psalm 1 45 verse 9, the Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. Romans-12:2 says, do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is, his good, pleasing, and perfect will.
We heard 3 statements about God's goodness. 1, God is good. Number 2, we heard God is good to all. And number 3, we heard God's will is good. His will is perfect.
His will is pleasing. So that means his intentions are good. What he wants for you is good.
Now if God is good and
something bad happens, why do we blame god? Why do we question his goodness? God is good to all, another verse says. Do you really believe that?
Do you really believe that God's will is good?
If God is good to all and we see bad things happening to ourselves or to people, we shouldn't be questioning God's goodness. God's word said is he is good and good does not lie. We should either be questioning our perception of what is happening, maybe what we see as bad is really good and we just can't see the end of it, or we should actually be questioning why we think God is the 1 doing the very the bad thing.
Right? Remember, Satan wants you to question God's goodness. Maybe we have a weak theology of God's goodness. Changing our belief in the goodness of God doesn't change God, it changes us. And to the extent that we believe God is good, that's the extent that we'll experience his goodness in every aspect of our life.
And the extent that we experience his goodness, we see his goodness, that's the extent others will see his goodness in us and through us. Think about that. Many people say, wait a second. If God is good, why is there bad in the world? Why is there evil in the world?
Why do so many bad things happen? I wanna help you change your perception. Why is there evil in the world? Ultimately, evil is the rejection of God. Right?
And so, if God is good, then evil is the rejection of good. Jesus said there's no 1 good but God. I'm talking about God's eternal good. So evil is the rejection of good. That means evil is the rejection of God's good will and his perfect plan for someone's life.
Satan rejected God's goodness and evil filled the world. Mankind in the beginning rejected God's goodness and evil filled mankind's heart. Sick, desperate, need of a savior, need to be born again, need to have a good heart. See, there's another verse that says, all things work together for good for those that love God and are the called according to his purpose. Short version of saying it, hey, if you're his kid, he's gonna work out everything for your good.
Everything, even the bad that happens. It doesn't say all things are good. It says, God works all things together for good, for his kids. Well, doesn't he do that for everyone? Nope.
He doesn't. Not that he doesn't want to. But let's just do some reasoning here.
If you don't believe God is good, you're not born again, you can't see his kingdom, then if he tried to lead you into good and you don't trust him, you're gonna reject his good. So the bad things that are happening to you happening to you, God wants you to experience his goodness, but you're rejecting his goodness, which means it's just gonna pile on more and more and more. And you're gonna hit rock bottom and say, where are you or I hate you.
Right? Well, for his kids, bad things are happening, he shows you his will, he shows you how to stand in him. We see it, we hear by faith, we stand, and we take steps following our father, and guess what happens, man? He's working all of
the bad out for good. And sometimes, or a lot of times, just because he's your you're his kid, you're his son and his daughter, and his mercies are new every morning, he he blesses, and he works it out for good, because he wants you to see his goodness. And it's the same for the unbeliever. The unbeliever, just because his mercies are great, you're not dead right now, And he wants you to see his goodness. So some he'll bless you and and and cause you to see his goodness from time to time so that it will lead you to repentance because he loves you, and he doesn't want you to be separated from him for eternity.
God loved the world so much that he sent his son into the world, Jesus Christ, who lived the perfect life on the cross and died. He lived out perfect goodness and died for your your not goodness so that you could receive his goodness and walk in his goodness and reflect his goodness to the world. Amen? So I believe today, God wants to show his goodness to you. I'm gonna ask the band to come up.
Father, we just thank you for who you are. We thank you for your goodness. We praise you. Jesus is the exact representation of his goodness and bodily form. Jesus is our healer.
Jesus is our deliverer. Jesus wants to heal your diseases. He wants to deliver you. If you have issues going on where you have these habitual things that you know are not good for you and you can't seem to quit them, Jesus wants to deliver you from that. Every sickness that you have, every pain, every disease, Jesus is your healer 2000 years ago.
He paid the price for your wholeness. Depression and anxiety is not from God. He's not teaching you a lesson in depression and anxiety. He wants you to experience peace and joy, and he wants to teach you what that looks like. He wants to heal your mind, your emotions.
People struggle in with finances, not knowing what to do here and there, and or struggling with business decisions or debt or whatever it is. Jesus wants to give you wisdom on what to do and what not to do and he wants to radically bless you so that you can be a blessing to others. Maybe you came in here and like I said in the beginning, you've always believed in Jesus. You went to church a lot, but you've never been born again. Jesus wants you to be born again today.
He wants you to receive a "new heart" and a new life. He wants to place his goodness in you and to lead you and guide you. I'm gonna ask you guys to stand. And I I wanna ask you, if you know beyond a shadow of a doubt, I wanna ask you to be bold. If you know beyond a shadow of a doubt, you need healing in your body.
You have pain somewhere or disease or or just something that's not from the kingdom of heaven. If that's you, would you "raise your hand high"? Just be bold. I see you. All are in.
You can put your hands down. If you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you have a habit that you can't quit, a stronghold in your mind that you you just keep going back to, or a way of of of thinking that you need deliverance from, and you know, when I'm saying that you know that's you. If that's you, would you raise your hand high, unashamed, all over. If you have relational issues, maybe as long lost family members or people who in your family need to know Jesus. You need prayer there or just maybe it's some really tough relation, marriage stuff or whatever and you need healing in your relationships.
Would you raise your hand high?
Come on.
Okay. Money. You got questions about you need wisdom when it comes to money or maybe there's debt, or maybe there's there's struggle, maybe you don't know where the next bill is, or you you need to know what God's saying about this certain area in money. Raise your hand high. We got 1 guy with 2 hands.
Maybe you were 1 of those, praise the Lord, that you realize you need to be born again today. You need to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior. You need that new heart. You need to be able to see his kingdom. And you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that's you.
Would you raise your hand high? I want those prayer warrior, those those people that I talked to earlier to come forward to the front seats right now to come pray. Olivier, those that are our elders and deacons, trustees. If you need healing in your body, the Bible says, you just you just go to the seats. That's fine.
Just go to the open seats. Olivia back there. If you need healing in the body, the Bible says in James, come forward. Let the elders of the church "lay their hands on you". Anoint you with oil.
Prayer offered in faith will will make the sick person well. That's his that's the word. And we see all throughout Acts, all throughout the Bible where people were prayed for, and his goodness was shown. People were delivered from strongholds, demons, from depression, anxiety, stress, being able to see his kingdom clearly. God did financial miracles in the Bible, and he's done it for the last 2000 years.
You need to be born again. Come forward. Let's pray for you. Thank you for tuning in today to the Real Church podcast. I pray that you walk away today and with a deeper understanding of how much God loves you.
