How To Deal - satan

How do we overcome the lies of insecurity and fear to walk in the freedom of our identity as new creations in Christ?

You are secure in His love and do not need to claim insecurity as your identity. Root out the lies that bind you and choose to remain in the truth of who God says you are today. Walk in freedom so others can see Jesus in you.

What are the foundational steps for dealing with God and yourself?

Welcome to The Real Church Podcast. Our mission is for you to know the love of Jesus and live out your God given purpose. Now join us and listen in to the latest message from Pastor David John Phillips.

So we have started the how to deal series. Actually, we're ending the how to deal series. We started with how to deal with God. And we said 3 things, you turn to him. Right?

That's repentance. Repentance means to turn. You turn to him. You follow him or receive him. To receive him is to follow him really.

And then you worship him. You don't worship him for what he can do for you. This is not a selfish thing, selfish religion, but it's a relationship that's selfless. Right? We worship him for who he is.

Then the second part of the series, we talked about how to deal. God, how do I deal with me? Like, do we deal with ourselves? You know? And we learn first that we have to see ourselves as God sees us.

Right? We look at ourselves from a heavenly point of view, not a worldly point of view. World says condemnation ain't good enough and never will be good enough. Self help, blah blah blah. No.

No. I I have to look at myself as God sees me, and how does he see me? Well, he paid his he gave his son. The heavenly father gave his son so that I could know him, can walk in relationship with him so I could be forgiven and loved and in right standing with him and have a good purpose. And it's amazing, and I have to see myself that way despite how I feel in the moment.

Number 2, I have to realize that I'm dead. You're like, woah. It's no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. We dug into that, dove into that. And then number 3 is we have to die daily.

We carry our cross daily. We're dying to self and living for Jesus. It's an amazing thing. Right? So that so that others can see him in and through us, and we experience his love.

We don't just experience it, but we become it. We're becoming his love, Jesus in us. It's amazing. It's wonderful. Sadly, that the second part of the series did not make it

to podcast. If you have been looking

How should believers approach relationships with others and church expectations?

for that 1, the cord on our podcast thing had messed up, and and it just didn't record. So I apologize. Maybe we'll do an update or something for for that 1. And then the third 1 was how to deal with others. That was last week.

How do we deal with others? The Bible gives a simple explanation that's so simple, but yet so profound. We deal with others. It says in Philippians-2, it says, in our relationships with 1 another, have the same mindset as that of Christ Jesus. That's it.

That's how you deal with other people. You have the same mindset towards them as Christ Jesus, who loved them, gave himself up for them. In John-17 it says, the Father loves people, loves the world as much as he loves Jesus. So even if you don't know Jesus right now, you've never really received him, you've been on the fence, you the heavenly Father loves you just as much as he loves Jesus. Believe it and receive it.

That's amazing. And if you're religious and you're like, that doesn't sound right, go to John-17 verse verses 24 through 26. Read it. It's right there in the text. *God* loves you, and he loves people.

And that's why he's in his son, for God so loved the world. Okay. So we, today, are talking about how to deal with You know what? Why don't you just run that video first?

Done this church thing for a long time now, and I think I've got something important to say about it, about your expectations and about you. Here's the deal with the church you are in right now. There could be something deep in your heart that changes today. We hope for that. In fact, we pray for that.

But, in my experience, the chances are, well, kind of slim. Now, I know that sounds a bit harsh, even blunt, but I don't know if there's much that can really change a person in 60 minutes. We all know that real change takes a lifetime. They'll ask you to focus on God and that's a great thing. But it'll be almost impossible to really focus especially with everything going on in your life.

They'll ask you not to be apathetic. I assure you, nobody's apathetic about Jesus. You've just heard this message over and over. Now, I really don't want to sound negative, so when they sing, sing along. When they pray, close your eyes.

And when they study the Bible, follow along. But as you do these things, my advice to you is simple, really simple. Be careful how much you allow your heart to lean in, to lean in toward God, to lean in toward the other people in

the room.

Oh, there will be a time for you to lean in more, but it might not be today. So hey, thanks for taking the time to listen. I don't consider myself an expert or anything. I've just been around long enough to have a little experience in the church. I hope you have a great day and that this church meets your expectations.

What is the biblical reality regarding Satan and the promise of freedom?

And if you need anything at all or you just wanna talk, I'll be around.

Sounded like some sounded like he was saying some truth. Right? It sounded like it, but it was a lot of "half truth". And that's how Satan gets us. That's how the enemy gets us.

Half *truth*. I'm gonna skip ahead for you, Dash. Just to let you know I'm skipping ahead. But there's some some people in here like, really Satan? Like this cartoon character that we hear on TV, you know, and people say childhood stories about it.

Do you really believe that Satan and demons and all those people exist Or all those spirits exist? Are are you serious? Really? Come on. As a matter of fact, over 50% of Christians in America today don't believe that Satan and demons exist.

It's crazy. Right? Well, if we believe the Bible, and we're a "Bible teaching church" here. So if you believe the Bible, there's 6 different books in the Old Testament that talk about Satan in some way, and there's the list of books right there. There are 19 different books in the New Testament that talk about Satan in in different ways.

*Satan himself, not not to mention the demons*, and we're gonna talk about a little bit. *Jesus* himself talks about Satan 15 different in 15 different instances, he talks about Satan and Satan's impact. So if if we believe if we're a Christian, which means we follow Jesus, which means we follow his word, we can't just take some of the Bible out and say, well, I don't believe it because I don't like it. Right? Satan exists.

*Demons* exist. We're gonna talk about it today. Today, we're talking about how to deal with Satan. And just to give you kind of a overall, this is how you deal with him, and then we'll get back to it in the end. But number 1, you reject the lies.

Number 2, you remain in truth. Number 3, you experience truth. And then number 4, you live in freedom. How do you deal with Satan? How do you deal with the enemy of your souls?

Number 1, you reject the lies. Number 2, you remain in truth. Number 3, you experience truth. And number 4, you live in freedom. Now, you ever heard this statement?

The truth shall set you free. Yeah. I mean, we hear that all the time. Right? The truth shall set you free.

That's an amazing statement. You believe that. Right? The truth shall set you free. It's biblical.

Why does intellectual knowledge fail to produce experiential freedom?

It's right out of the Bible. The truth shall set you free. And that is true. And I actually think that that guy up there that we saw in the video quotes that to you all the time. Because he's great at giving you half truth, and then we have half truth.

And then when we don't experience *freedom* for a moment, we're like, what's going on? I don't understand. I thought the Bible said that the truth will set me free, so the Bible must not really be true. *John-8:32*. Let's read it.

*John-8:32*. It says, the truth will set you free. And that's all it says. Right? No.

Let's read it together. Then, come on together, then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. So there's a prerequisite for the truth setting you free, and the prerequisite is knowing the truth. Now there's a lot of people in here say, wait a second, I know a lot of the Bible, but I'm not experiencing freedom in those areas. I know that the Bible says that I'm forgiven, but I do not feel forgiven.

I don't not I do not feel free in that area. I know the Bible in Romans-6 says that I'm free from sin, but I'm not experiencing *freedom* from sin in my life. What's going on? I know that the Bible says that Jesus gave me peace, that I have His peace here, now, today. But why am I so depressed?

Why am I so anxious? Why are things going on in my life? I don't understand it. The Bible must not be true. Or at least it's true for you, but it's not true for me.

I don't understand. Doesn't the Bible said by His stripes we are healed, we have been healed? Why did they have to die? What's going on? Is what is the correlation to here?

I feel like I know truth, but I'm not experiencing freedom. I don't get it. Ever felt that way? Why isn't it happening in my life? It must be God's fault.

And I hear you, but maybe, just maybe, you say the words I know from this verse as if they mean the same thing that it means in this verse. But if you're not free yet, then maybe, just maybe, just maybe you don't know yet as it's talking about here. And before you cut me off, before you say, well, hold on. That's kinda pointed. Let me explain.

See, there's a couple words for I know. I wanna talk about just take a little detour into some Greek here. There's a couple different words for I know, and you know the the New Testament is written originally in Greek. Can you say the word everybody say, gnosco. Ginosko.

Yeah. So ginosko means I know. Right? And that's the word that's being used here. Ginosko is to know in a **"personal, intimate relationship"** type of way, to experiential type of way.

How does experiential knowledge differ from "head knowledge" in understanding truth?

So to know the truth in a personal intimate relational *experiential* type of way. Right? I've experienced it. I know this. Right?

That's what it's talking about. Then you will know the truth in this experiential type of way. Alright? So but then there's another word for I know, and this is the word a lot of us use a lot of times when I say "I know the truth". There's another word called oida.

You you say oida? Oida? Okay. Oida is to observe like scientifically, like a scientific observation. Like to have a a head knowledge, but no experiential heart knowledge.

No intimate heart knowledge. Right? There's a lot of people that have in, like they understand the words and the scriptures that are in this book, and they've read it, they've memorized it, they went to seminary, but it was cemetery for them because it never transitioned to from head knowledge to heart knowledge. It never transitioned from I I have this observation and this memorization, but at the same time, it's I I don't really know this truth in my life because I'm not experiencing it, and so they feel self condemned and they run from ministry. Because freedom comes from experiencing the truth.

Knowing personally, intimately, relationally knowing the truth. That's where the freedom comes. It's like this. It's like good example would be exercise. Okay.

Scientifically, we know by observation that exercise will work to make you feel more healthy, to make you experience a little bit more energy, you know, to make you feel a little bit better about yourself. It helps with depression. It helps with all kinds of stuff. Right? Exercise does.

That is something that is proven. We we we know that. OYDA. But for a lot of us, right, a lot of us, sometimes myself included, right, a lot of us, we make the decision, alright, well, I'm gonna go exercise. I'm gonna go do this thing because I know it's better for me.

And then so we go, and we make it to the gym, or we make it in that exercise video that we paid a $100 for, and gave up on, you know, 2 weeks in. You know, or or whatever it is, we we make it for a few days. And then 2 weeks in, we look at our bodies, and we're like, nothing's changing. Why is nothing changing? And then something else comes up, and we're like, well, life happened.

I'm just gonna And so we didn't really experience the benefit of exercise, so we didn't continue in it. It wasn't experiential knowledge, it was still head knowledge. Does that make sense? You guys follow me? But then, Genosco, if we were to continue to remain in the fact that that it really works, even though we don't see it for a moment, just to trust what we know, to trust truth, then over time we would begin to see results.

We begin to see things, and we have this experiential knowledge in our personal life. See a lot of us once again approach the *Bible* from the first viewpoint. We say, well, I don't feel free, so I'm gonna try something else. I'm gonna take control back. Well, I I I'm still fearful.

I still this. I'm just gonna take control back because we understand what it should be, but we're not experiencing it in our daily life. There has to be a transition. And where does that transition come from? Watch this.

*John-8:32*. Then you will know the truth, the ginosko, experiential knowledge. Right? And the truth will set you free. Look at that first word, then.

What is the prerequisite for knowing truth experientially and escaping bondage?

That implies there's a something before it. Right? And so so there was a prerequisite for the truth setting you free. Now there's a prerequisite for you knowing experientially the truth. What is it?

Let's go to John-8:31. *Jesus* is talking to the Jews who had believed in him. Jesus said, if you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. Now, ESV, this is the NIV here.

ESV says, if you abide in my word, then you are really my disciples. Another version says, if you remain in my word, then you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will You guys are getting it. I love it. Okay.

So holding to his teaching. The only way to know his word personally and intimately by experience in such a way that sets you free is to not give up on his word when it doesn't go your way when you think it should. To trust his word, to remain in his word no matter the circumstance, no matter the temptation, no matter the testing, no matter the trial. God, I trust your word over what I see. That's called faith.

We live by faith and not by sight. I'm continuing until your word becomes reality, what I can see in my life. Then you shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free. So many of us are not free because we try his word only for a moment. But then life happens, and we say, well, try that.

*Jesus isn't something just to try for a day. We give him our life. We surrender to him. We say, trust you with everything even if it doesn't go well for me in this moment, and I feel terrible. I'm gonna trust you regardless because I know you're my God* and you love me.

Because I know who you are. Remain in his word. So if the truth really sets us free, right, knowing the truth in this way, And it really sets us free. Let's think about that logically. Therefore, any area of bondage in our lives, any stronghold, any addiction we just can't overcome, any unforgiveness, any depression, any blame, any guilt, any accusations, any shame, anything in our lives that does not line up with his word for us, towards us, any lack of *freedom* is due to knowing personally, intimately, relationally, and experientially a lie.

Any area of bondage in your life, or in our lives, in my life, any stronghold, any addiction, we just can't overcome. Any unforgiveness, any depression, any blame that we feel, guilt, accusation, shame, because all of those things biblically are not ours as sons and daughters. Anything in our lives that does not line up with his word, meaning any lack of freedom, it's due to knowing, personally, intimately, relationally, and experientially a lie. Allowing a lie to sit in our heart, in our feelings, and in our mind. And that, my friend, is how Satan works.

*Satan* is many things, but he is, most of all, the father of lies. All bondage in our life can come from knowing a lie. Alright. Let's go to John. Oh, before we go to John, sorry.

*2 Corinthians-9*, or chapter 2 verse 11. *2 Corinthians-2* verse 11. And you can read the context here. I got it, I think in our notes, but in order that Satan might not outwit outwit us, for we are not unaware of his schemes. Satan wants to outwit you.

He has schemes against you. Why? *Revelation-12:9*. Let's go to Revelation-12:9. Check this out.

I might not have gave her that scripture, so that's on me. But Revelation-12:9, there we go. She's fast. Would you guys give Dash a hand? Yeah.

How does Satan operate through lies and what does "Tetelestai" signify?

The great dragon Oh, there we go. The great dragon, talking about Satan, was "hurled down" that ancient serpent called the devil or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. His goal, his scheme, everything that he does is to lead you astray from the truth. Astray from Jesus. Right?

Astray from experiencing *freedom*. He was hurled to the earth and his angels with him. His angels are the demons. Okay. Let's go to John-8:41.

This is crazy. And Jesus, you're awesome. John-8:41. Jesus is talking to these same Jews we talked about before, you know, where he said, then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. Skip down a little bit.

*John-8:41*, he says, you are doing did Jesus talk to them? He says, you're doing the works of your own father. They reply, we're not illegitimate children. They protested. The only father we have is God himself.

*Jesus said to them, if God were your father*, you would love me. For I have come here from God. I have not come on my own. God sent me. Why is my language not clear to you?

Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desires. Woah. *Jesus* said they belong to their father, the devil. These people thought that god was their father, but they were mistaken.

That's crazy. Right? They thought God was their father. How many people think God is their father but are mistaken? Because they believe, quote unquote, believe in God.

They believe God is there. Something exists, something's there, but they've never surrendered to the truth of Jesus Christ. They've never received God in here. They've never accepted the fact that Jesus came and died for them and rose again, paid for their sin. And see people say, why would a loving God send people to hell?

He doesn't send you to hell, He allows you your choice. You're choosing not God. So for eternity, you're gonna suffer apart from the 1 who is love, joy, and peace. You're gonna get your choice, which is hell. He loves you enough not to make you come to him.

You belong to your father, and you will carry out your father. That's how much God loves you anyway. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth for there is no truth in him. When he speaks, he lies. For he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the "father of lies".

He is the father of lies. *Satan* is the father of lies. That is everything he says is lies. Now what you saw up here sounds like Satan to me. The the video.

Because there's some half truths in there. The half truths are, hey, you shouldn't really plug in. You know, you should wait. You should you you shouldn't really really connect. Know, change takes a lifetime.

Why should believers fear the enemy given Jesus' authority and presence?

Yes. That's a half truth. Right. I'm gonna be changing for this whole lifetime and growing to be more like him but at the same time I'm a new creation in an instant when I receive Jesus I'm born again. Right.

Half truths will keep you from experiencing the full truth. And we want to experience the fullness of truth, all that he has for us, every little thing. Amen? Okay. So what sets you free?

Remaining in the truth, knowing the truth. 1, I want you to know this. Satan is defeated. Okay? He is and has been defeated.

*Jesus* screamed out on the cross, Tetelestai. You're like, what was that? Tetelestai is a Greek word that means it has been finished, it is finished, and it will continue to be finished into eternity. Right? What Jesus did was final.

*Colossians-2* verse, Satan is defeated and disarmed. Colossians-2:15. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a "public spectacle" of them, triumphing triumphing over them by the cross. The powers and authorities he's talking about are Satan and his horde. *Ephesians-6*, it calls them that.

He he didn't just defeat them, but he made a public spectacle of them. He humiliated them. He disarmed them. They are disarmed of every weapon against you. That's why no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

The only thing that they have, the only thing he has is lies. That's it. And if you believe a lie, this new word the word that's popular right now is manifest. You believe a lie, you manifest that lie in your life. But you remain in the truth, and you experience freedom.

More truth. Matthew-28:18. Jesus has all authority in heaven on earth. Jesus said, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Not David, Jesus.

So Jesus has that. Right? But then Matthew-28:20, and he says, and lo King James version, and lo anyway, I am with you always. He's with us always. Right?

So the 1 who has all authority in heaven and on earth is with us, his disciples, because we've received them. And not only that, John-7:17 chapter chapter 17 verse 26 says, he's not just with us, he's in us. So the 1 with all authority on heaven and on earth is in us. Why should we be afraid? Why should we fear the enemy?

We shouldn't. Amen? Amen. Alright. Remaining in the *truth* causes us to know truth and the truth to set us free.

*Revelation-12:10*. Let's go there. *Revelation-12:10*. Then I heard a loud voice say, now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our god and the authority of his Messiah. Talking about Jesus.

How does the accuser of our brothers and sisters attempt to isolate believers from truth and community?

For the accuser of our brothers and sisters who accuses them night and day has been hurled down. *Satan* is the accuser. He does not want you free. He's the father of lies. So he lies to you and accuses you.

He tells you the opposite of truth because he doesn't want you to remain in the truth. He wants you to have a head knowledge of truth, but then to give up on it and run away instead of remaining when life goes haywire. So when times gets hard, he says, just isolate yourself from the church. Just isolate yourself from people. They don't really love you, they're out to get you.

You can't open up, look at your past, you don't deserve to be forgiven. Jesus doesn't love you, you aren't good enough. Accusation, lies, condemnation, you haven't tried hard enough, you're a terrible parent. You have to do more to be accepted by God. You're wearing the wrong clothes.

They'll never make you'll never make it. You should feel sorry for yourself. Kill yourself. God left you, this sickness is it, you're done. You can't be cured, you can't be healed.

You have to deal with this the rest of your life. The church just wants your money. They will make fun of you. You have nothing that you're good at. You aren't worth anything anyway.

Does that sound familiar? Those are lies. Lies. Lies. Lies.

Because here's what happens. We read truth. We read what Jesus says about us. What he who he is. We read this.

And we're like, yes. That's amazing. We come to church, and we we experience truth. And then we go back out on Monday. And the enemy says, he doesn't really believe that.

He was just excited for a moment. It was just emotion. It's not a part of his life. I don't believe that he really believes what he's confessing. So what does he do?

He brings storms in your life that's exactly opposite to the truth that you received. Yeah? So you man, I can be healed in Jesus. Then all of a sudden you get sick, you pray, and nothing happens. What's going on?

The enemy's attacking you. He wants you to believe that, nah, that's just a bunch of "phony baloney". Oh, man, you know, I'm changed, and I'm brand new. I'm forgiven. And the next day, all of a sudden, you're bombarded with all these thoughts.

You're no different. You're not changed. That was just a bunch of emotion high emotional highs. You're not a new creation. Come on, man.

That's are are you serious? Change takes a lifetime. You can't change like that in an instant. And then all of a sudden, we hear all of these things, and we allow it to sit in because you can't directly change your feelings, but you can change your thoughts. And what you focus on a lot does shift your feelings.

So indirectly, you shift your feelings. I'll teach on that 1 time, 1 day. But indirectly, you shift your feelings by changing what you think about, by renewing your mind. So the enemy puts all of these lies and thoughts in your mind to try to get something to stick so that you focus on that, and then you feel like a failure instead of a victor, like the Bible says. But we need to remain in the truth despite how we feel.

No matter what thoughts come at us, we go back to his word, and we reject the lies with the truth. That's how to deal with Satan. See, when he brings all those lies at us at us, we rebuke the lies with the truth. So we say, no. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

What is the biblical formula for submitting to God and causing the devil to flee from your life?

No. God is for me and not against me. I am forgiven. I am a child of God. I am loved by God.

I am the beloved of him. Jesus thought I was worth dying for, so I'm not worthless. God is with me. God loves me, and therefore he loves me, and I can love others through him. He's my healer.

He's my provider. He's my help in tide of need. He's my comforter. Through him, I am more than a conqueror. I'm not a victim, I don't have to have a victim mentality.

I'm more than a conqueror even in this situation that seems hopeless. That's what his word says, and I'm gonna continue, I'm gonna stay there, I'm gonna walk in that, and know that by his stripes I am healed, and I have been healed. I am delivered. I am free. His word says I'm a new creation.

I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. He is near to me. He's not far and distant. He has given me his peace and his joy. The Holy Spirit has empowered me to be a witness.

I am full of Jesus. I am called by God. I have a good purpose and a future. God has blessed me. I am blessed.

Welcome to my mind because the enemy attacks me too. *James-4:7*.

Here's your formula. Submit yourselves then to god, resist the devil, and he will flee. There you go.

In the beginning was the word, the word was with god, and

the word was god. So, by submitting to the word, you're submitting to god, to Jesus, right? So, we submit then to god, resist the devil, and he will flee. Period. Something only flees from what they're scared of.

Satan is deathly afraid that you'll believe what god says about you, that you'll believe that Jesus is actually in you, that you'll actually believe that you're more than a conqueror.

So, when you submit to his word and you resist him, eventually, the storm will cease. Sorrow may last for a night but joy comes in the morning.

It's true. It's his word. So, we remain in his word. Period. And when the storm ceases, and that means the enemy has flown, "has flew the coop", has fleed.

In what ways do strongholds form in the mind and how does truth demolish these defensive arguments?

Is it fleed? Is it flown, fleeed? Why? Teachers help me. But we submit to what he says over what we feel.

We must because once again, every lack of freedom in our life is rooted in a lie. Second Corinthians, I'm almost done. And I try not to be 1 of those preachers that say I'm almost done and then preach for 25 more minutes. No. Really.

I'm almost done. 2 Corinthians-10:4. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of this world or of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power, godly power, god's power, because they're his word. That's what we fight with by the way.

To demolish strongholds. Now, what is it talking about? It's talking about strongholds. Verse 5, we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of god and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. It kinda defines it there.

What a stronghold is. A stronghold, imagine like a military base. I was

a navy guy and I know military bases, right?

Imagine a military base with all

these fences and and guards up and all this kind of stuff.

And we have those military bases with fences and guards. We have our guard up in many different areas of our life because we believe a lie. See, we can be completely free. Anywhere you're where you're completely and totally guarded, there's probably a lie. That is protecting a wound that needs to be healed by truth.

But we demolish those strongholds. How do we demolish those strongholds? By his word. We allow truth. See, the enemy wants to set up strongholds in your mind.

He wants you to believe lies and set up these strongholds so that you're a guarded person, never let anybody in. By not letting anybody in, you're not letting Jesus in either. Cause the body of Christ is the body of Jesus. Right? So we break down those arguments by remaining in his word, going back to his word.

Every I am militant about this in my own life. Anytime that I see a like this insecurity rise up, or this this way that I respond to somebody in some kind of weird way, I'm like, woah, Jesus, what was that? What is the truth? No. The truth is I'm forgiven.

I'm a new creation. I don't have to do that. Would you root out whatever that junk is? Because I'm I'm yours. There's no insecurity in Jesus.

We're securing him. Don't claim yourself to be an insecure person anymore. That's just a lie that you believe. That's manifesting in in your own life as an insecurity. "Stop it".

You're secure in his love. You're not a fearful person. Not if you've received Jesus. You're a new creation. Quit saying you're a fearful person.

How do believers overcome fear and anxiety through remaining in God's Word?

You just allowed a stronghold in your life to take up root, and now you're acting fearful in every kind of way. Stop it. The Bible says there is no fear in love, and you are perfectly loved by your heavenly Father, period. You don't have to do that. The Bible says we don't have to be anxious.

The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing. Now, I'm telling you stuff that I'm not perfect in. Sometimes I fail in these things, and I need to go and to my wife or to brothers, say, hey, man. God, you know, I I was really, like, stressed out today, and I shouldn't have been.

Would you pray for me? I go to I go back to Jesus and and hey. The Bible says, the Lord is near, Philippians-4. You see how I quote a scripture for almost everything? It's because I've been militant to get it's not because I'm I'm have this amazing memory or or it's just because I've been militant to root out the lies with His Word, remain in His Word until it becomes my life.

That's what we're doing, guys. Us together. We're becoming. We're becoming His love. His love in us, through us, impacting the world around us.

And the more we remain in His word, the more we walk in the freedom that He said. And as we walk in freedom, people that are bound up say, man, I gotta have that. That's amazing. You know why? Because you were created to walk in freedom.

You're created to walk in his truth, to know his truth. Do you notice we don't deal with Satan by focusing on him and fighting him? We deal with Satan by **focusing on truth** and rejecting his lies with truth, and then he flees. When we tell him to "get out", like, we receive the truth and he's singing around, in the name of Jesus, go.

Yeah. Get

out of We have every authority because every authority is in us. Jesus is in us. It's amazing. So many books have been written about people's experiences that are just plumb wrong because they get people to focus on the demonic. It's just a distraction.

It really is. He wants anyway, that's that's a whole another okay. So here we go. Reject lies. Remain in truth.

What distinguishes experiential relationship from religious formula in knowing God?

As you remain in truth, you will experience your the truth. It will become your life, and it will transition from this head knowledge to this heart knowledge that we live in. And you know what? You don't have to understand. You don't have to observe truth to experience it.

That makes sense? There's a lot of people that are, well, I'm not gonna believe that until I see and observe. You don't have to see and observe to just receive, just believe him, and take him at his word. And all of sudden, you experience it. You begin experiencing things, and you're like people ask you, Helen, could you explain what's going on in your life?

And you're like, no. I really can't. It's just Jesus. That's it's "just Jesus". And then maybe later, the Holy Spirit who leads you into all truth will teach you what's going on, and you'll be able to explain it a little bit more clearly.

But you don't have to. You just receive it. It's it's religion is I have to understand, know, and then follow this formula. Relationship is. It's personal.

**It's relationship**. It's experiential. Amen?
