Miracles Healing Salvation... amazing testimonies from our South Asia Trip that could change your life

Do you know Jesus as Savior, or are you ready to follow Him as Lord even when it costs you everything?

You are called to move beyond knowing Jesus merely as your Savior and embrace Him fully as your Lord. This means surrendering your preferences and saying yes to His plan, even when it challenges your comfort or safety. Will you commit today to a life of total obedience and follow Him wherever He leads?

How does the pastor challenge the audience's theology regarding safety and salvation?

And I'm excited to share this with you guys today and excited to share the testimonies of what has happened. My name is David John Phillips. I have the joy of getting to be the pastor here. No place I'd rather be, nothing I'd rather be doing, than getting to do this today. Getting him to be here with you and and sharing testimony.

And so if this is your first time, we pray that you experience the love of Jesus. You have an encounter with a personal savior. And then you walk away knowing him more. Because knowing him changes every aspect of our lives. Amen?

It just does. And I will warn you, as we share these testimonies and share what God did in Pakistan and what he's doing, it may challenge your theology. It may challenge what you believe is possible. It may challenge what you believe is probable. We're not gonna hold back.

And as as we share the reality of what happened and what God's doing and what God's going to do. I want you to put yourself in 2 places. Number 1, you're gonna hear testimony of people being healed. You're gonna hear testimony of people being saved and delivered. You're gonna see pictures.

It's gonna be amazing. And so maybe put yourself in the place of them where you know that if God did it in them, then he can do it in you. And the same thing that happened to them can happen to you. Amen? Amen.

And, man, outside of Jesus, we're nobody. Outside of Jesus, we're just a lump of flesh that are selfish. But Jesus changed us from the inside out. We're new creations in Christ and now we have the same spirit that rose Jesus from the dead living in us. And if you have a relationship with Jesus, then you have that same spirit in you.

So that means you can do the same things we do and even greater. So the second place to put yourself is in our shoes. And wait, if God did that there, well then he can do that through me here. Because here's a little secret and a little hint. He's not just doing it through us there.

He's doing it through through us here too. Just not everybody sees it all the time and you'll get to hear some of those testimonies. So Chevy, today's for you brother. It's a day full of story. Wasn't that an amazing message he preached 2 weeks ago?

Come on. And then Daniel did awesome last week talking about Easter and the cost and Jesus. It's so powerful. Other things this might do is it might challenge what you believe is safe. And may challenge your belief that you have to stay safe and because following God's not safe.

Following God costs you your life. It just does. You gotta be willing to follow him wherever he says go, to do whatever he says. There's a lot of us that know him. I heard a friend of mine say this, and I agree.

There's a lot of us that know him as savior, but not as lord. Savior is what he's gonna do for me and how he's gonna save me. And that's important. It's a good beginning. However, we must know him as Lord.

When he's Lord, it's what are you saying? What can I do for you? How do you want me to follow you as my Lord? And all of us in our relationship with Jesus must experience him as both *savior* and Lord. Amen?

Amen. Well, let me play this first video. Video. Jerry, as I play this, you can come up and we'll What I was telling them is applicable for you today. Some of the testimonies that you're gonna hear of what happened, why we did what we did, how we did what we did, what God did through us and impacted.

The Bible says there's no 1 who understands. We can't understand outside of him opening our minds and opening our our understanding. Like, can't logically understand why someone would leave America, go to a place where it's illegal to convert a Muslim to Jesus, and on the law books is punishable by death. And then do it. By his power and then have the government on our side.

What preparation is needed for the Holy Spirit to open minds and hearts?

That right there says it all.

Like, what I was saying in there to those 47,200 people, This Holy Spirit has to open up our minds, but then we have to respond. He initiates. We respond. And for many of you today, God's going to initiate a deeper relationship with him than you've ever experienced before. He's gonna push you outside of your comfort zone in your *belief* and and your obedience and your willingness to follow him and your willingness to lay down your life and your self preferences.

He's gonna push you outside not because he wants to harm you but because he loves you and he created you to walk in a loving relationship with him. And if you'll let him and if you'll follow him, if you'll say, yes, Lord, it will be the most fulfilling ride of your life for the rest of your life. Whether you're starting at 80 or you're starting at 6. But it takes, yes, Lord. Yes, Lord.

Give me Jesus. Nothing else. Give me Jesus. Not what I want, not what I didn't want, not my preferences, not I want it this way, not I want it that way, not I want to experience this, and I have to experience this, but only if you do this and only if you give me that. It ain't about you, it's about Jesus.

Amen. That's right. That's true.

That's what it takes. So, *holy spirit*, I ask you to open up their minds and open up their hearts. *Lord God*, open up their their just their spirit to be able to hear your voice and the many stories. Different people hear different things, Lord God, to hear and, Lord, give them give them the understanding that you love them. Like you care for them.

You you you want them to experience all of you lord god. You want them to fulfill every purpose that you have for their life, every plan. Lord god and and it all it takes faith. It takes hearing, believing, and then responding with obedience, loving you back. Lord god, open up their hearts father to hear you and I I just thank you for the fruit that you're going to produce out of of what happened in Pakistan but but what you're going to do here as a result in Jesus name and everybody said?

Amen. Amen. Amen. Alright. Well, you guys know Santa Claus over He's pretty awesome.

He's full of Jesus. You probably met him if this is your first time out at the front. He smiles and you can't miss the guy. He's just amazing. Jerry.

That was his wife. You ever been around Heidi? She loves Jerry. And that's a good thing.

That's a

good thing. Healthy marriage. So so Jerry, in in like tell me your feelings coming up to this trip. Like, what were your thoughts? Why'd you say yes to going and and what what was going on inside of you before we left?

How does Jerry describe the internal struggle and divine assurance before the trip?

Well, before we left, when I heard and David asked me, I immediately said yes. And then it was the the why behind that. Why did I say yes? Because I know God is stretching me to a place that I've never been before. And it's his purpose and plan for me but that came with anxiousness, a little doubt, fear of doubt of I'm going with these 3 guys who've been to school and they're old, they're younger than I am.

I'm the old guy. But then I quickly had to go back and remember that god says, "cast all your anxiety" upon him for he cares for you and you know, it wasn't by David just choosing, hey, man. You did, I need somebody to go along. I thought that in the beginning but then, I have to remember that god has equipped me and purposely positioned me for a destination with him and I said, yes because of that because in my heart, it's settled of who I am in Christ. You know, I received the increase of him so that I may decrease and as I receive that increase, I've been made full in him and that settled my heart even though I had those uneasy feelings of that fear, maybe that doubt.

It's almost like I I I continue to stumble forward when my flesh was saying no. You're you're not adequate but then god says, I have made you adequate. I have approved of you. My letter is not a letter written on stone. It's chiseled on your heart.

It's seared on your heart. It's too passionate to withhold inside and I get to go engage the culture with his love. It's not about me changing myself. He's already changed my heart. So, there may be a language barrier but I remember that I just get to walk into this because his love is actively seeking.

It has no boundaries and it's the greatest and it never fails me at all and so that's what got me to the point of saying yes and continue to fall forward in this whole thing.

Amen. And and, you know, communicate transparently. That's 1 of our core values here. So, like, I'll just tell you, yeah, I I felt the enemy attacking me with fear a little bit before we left. I mean, just think about where we went and the stories you hear.

Right? But the Bible says, god has not given you a **spirit of fear** but of love, a power, and a sound mind. So so fear is a spirit and you have the choice whether or not to commune with that. Right? Just because you have some fearful thoughts or sense a fear a little bit doesn't mean you have to say, oh, this is mine.

So the Bible teaches us to take it captive. Because if I commune with it, right, it's like a it's like a desire, d e of sire, s I r e, father. Everything you feel has a father of what you've communed with in your mind. Okay? If I commune with that spirit of fear, it would create little fear babies in me.

And then the next thing you know, I'm gonna act on fear. Does that make sense? And I wanna act in boldness by the the Holy Spirit, not the spirit of fear. Amen? And so, I had to take those captive and realize what he had already spoken.

Like, this was commissioned by God and move forward in faith, not fear. And so, praise the Lord, we went. And, let me pull up this next 1. 0, Jerry, so this is on the trip. You know, on the way there, tell tell me what happened here.

So we're at the Tampa Airport. And you know, I'm just kinda grazing the crowd as I walk along to see who the Holy Spirit wants me to talk with. Remember, it's his initiative. I'm walking along and I meet this guy. I can't remember his name but he was from Zimbabwe.

I shared the gospel with him. He knew the gospel. He was a believer. Well, I began to share *righteousness* to him and then it was just like, it was hitting him sideways. Woah, I never heard that, you know, and so I shared with him up into the gate and he went ahead and I had to check my ticket.

Well, this girl was standing there, Natasha and I said, do you need to come in? And she goes, no, my seats last. I'm way in the back and I said, well, god's word says, the the first maybe last and the last shall be first and she goes, yeah and so, as I'm walking, I'm sharing the gospel to her, looking back and I said, you know, said, you say you believe the demons believe and they tremble. I said, you cannot experience really the kingdom of god unless you're born again and I and I I'm I'm still walking and explaining that to her and I said, you need to think about that and she goes, yeah and so, I walked down the ramp, get on the plane, and I say, lord, I said, let her sit beside me because no 1 was sitting beside me. Well, she didn't but I said, let me continue this conversation with her.

Well, I'm sitting in the front and David and Aaron sitting way in the back. So, I get off the plane and I'm waiting and I'm thinking, well, she's already gone and I'm talking to Heidi and all of a sudden, I look up and here's Natasha coming and I said, I got to go and and so I walk up to and I said, so you wanna continue the conversation? And she smiled. She said, yeah. So, we continued that conversation and she became born again right there and as I'm walking by, David walks by and says, hey, man.

We'll catch on the elevator and it was just an amazing thing. I got her number right there. We've responded back and forth a couple of times, but it's just God taking the initiative. Are we gonna respond to his his abilities?

So so that was before we got to Pakistan. That's in the Tampa Airport and the Miami Airport. Meaning, everywhere you go, this is 1 of those times where you put yourself in our shoes and realize, wait, testimony. Okay. The testimony of Christ is the spirit of prophecy.

Meaning, the testimony of what Jesus did is the spirit of what he wants to do. And we're no we're not special. If he did it in us, he'll do it in you. If he did it through us, he'll do it through you. So everything you hear, wait a second.

Who are the partners and leaders behind the mission work in Pakistan?

*God can do that in me. God can do that through me. I just need to get outside of myself because there's a world around me that needs to hear Christ* even in the Tampa Airport, even in my job, even in my family. Amen? Amen.

So this is beautiful group of men. On the left is Aaron Christopherson, then Chris Donald, and then me, and then Jerry. The 2 guys on the left, they lead a nonprofit called 30 third company. We started began pioneering this work in Pakistan a little over 2 years ago at our church with a friend of mine named Daniel in Pakistan from 1 guy, 1 family. And, man, God's just our leadership team together, faithful with the little God put us in our hand, and he gives us he gives you more.

And it's began to multiply and multiply and multiply. Well, you know, it got too big for just our church and so god began to unify other churches and other nonprofits on mission with us together and so this trip, it cost with all of the wells and everything that has been donated, it's there's been over a $140,000 given. Check this out. We decided we were gonna go and do this in the January. So in about a month and a half, there was over a $140,000 given.

Month and a half, 2 months. That's amazing. Like, it was just obedience. You hear God believe and obey. And as you take the steps to obey, his grace meets you and empowers you to complete the obedience.

That's the life of faith. And so so, 30 third company, you know, real church only gave about $7,000 of that 140. Other churches pitched in and and on mission together. Got a lot of conversation to have about with them about what god did. But then 30 third company gave a majority of that over a $100,000 towards it which is an amazing thing.

So, praise the lord for their "radical generosity". Amen? Amen. Yeah and and they exist 30 third company which I'm officially, you know, a part of. I'm like their Pakistani missionary now.

But they exist to take the gospel to the hardest and most unreached places around the world and also to equip the everyday believer for evangelism discipleship. So, it's kind of the heartbeat of our church anyway. So, and then there we are. This just kind of introducing you to some faces you'll see in the pictures. That's that's Robert Emery.

He leads worship up here. Just kidding. Just kidding. But he he does an amazing job, doesn't he? No.

This is my Pakistani brother and Robert's Pakistani twin. Daniel Salem, we call him Sagar. And and when he's ministering to the Hindu Hindu people in Pakistan. But, he is the apostolic leader there that's helping to pioneer this on the ground in Pakistan. Very thankful.

This is Puja. That's his wife, and and she's amazing and full of Jesus. She translates and preaches and and leads ministries all throughout Pakistan as well. They're a dynamic power couple. This is Abuji.

You say Abuji? Just means like father. You know, he's Daniel's father. I call him Abuji. And then another, this is Saul.

What you think about Saul, Jerry?

What dangers and preparations were involved in meeting the 96 seekers in Islamabad?

He's amazing. He's an amazing guy.

He's hilarious. He's he's the comedic relief for the mission trip. Thank god for comedic relief. Amen.

He's also our barber.

He's our barber. Yeah. He he cuts our hair and stuff but he's he's Daniel's little cousin and he just does a lot of stuff behind the scenes and he runs the security and and all of that. This is little Dave and just to kind of give you a picture of how close the relationships are between our church, myself, and Daniel and the family in the ministry there is little Dave was born 3 weeks before we went back in May 2022 And they named him David after me. And so I just tell you that so that you understand how close the kingdom of God is even across the ocean.

That's their second born. They also have a first born named Derek which is awesome. Alright, Jerry. You ready? Yeah.

So, this is the first day We're getting ready. We land in Pakistan, sleep, then "get up" and drive about 5 hours to Islamabad, the capital city. I'm not going to be able to put this on our podcast but this was the most dangerous part of the whole trip. We couldn't take our phones or anything into where we're about to go. As a matter of fact, as we're getting out, we had to wear masks and sunglasses and and everything because we were going into a room where 96 and because of that fear and hearing about the gospel through our friend Daniel and some of his police friends that are about 4 of them were led to Jesus and *baptized* previously.

Through their testimony, these others wanted to hear about Jesus. And so we organized a meeting where we bus, we taxied them in. Somebody donated generously. A businessman donated $5,500 to taxi them in. They came from some from 14 hours away just to hear the gospel.

Some from 10 hours away and some from 5 hours away just to hear the gospel. And so we get out into this room, 2 story room. The room is probably, I don't know, maybe as as long as the stage and as deep as where that curtain is right there. And there's 96 sitting down in the room. Just waiting to hear the gospel.

So we get in and we preach Jesus to them. And we give them the opportunity to respond. Most, if not all, most of their hands went up, prayed the prayer of salvation. So, between 80 and 96 Muslims, former Muslims, give their life to Jesus right there. Praise god.

Mean, think about this. You got, you have 96 people that come from a distance. It could cost them their life but they're coming willingly to sit there and to wait to hear the good news of Jesus. Pretty amazing.

And and just to like Daniel was nervous about this 1. You know, when Daniel, and I'll be I'll be ginger about this, but when when Daniel was talking about going before, because we were planning on sending him to go to the before, and it just never really worked out. He told me, hey, David, when I go, if I die, make sure my family continues in the gospel. You know. So, I think bussing them into Islamabad was a little better than going to the camps.

But still, the level of danger was there. And I'll tell you, I didn't feel it at all. I felt no danger. I felt no fear. I'd already dealt with that before we got on the plane.

So we were filled. The Holy *Spirit* Bible says, the Holy Spirit will fill you with boldness, the gift of faith. Your role is here, believe and obey, and trust him. He'll give you everything you need to complete every good work he's prepared for you before the foundation of the

How does baptism and healing demonstrate the fulfillment of righteousness and obedience?

world. Amen.

Amen? So, in that moment, they had a blow up pool baptismal tub on the 2nd Floor. Put roses on it because it's they honor it and 1 couple were ready to be baptized instantly. It's not saying the other 94 didn't really receive Jesus. They did but that seed needs to germinate and they'll they'll see the testimony.

Well, that couple, the husband and wife. The wife had a broken leg. We prayed for it. It wasn't healed instantly. The husband carried the broken legged wife, the wife of the broken leg up the stairs.

And put her in the baptismal tub. And we baptized her. And then baptized him. And then he carried her back downstairs to get changed. We get a testimony about 3 days later, 3 or 4 days later, that that woman's leg was healed.

And when she went back to the refugee camp, so it wasn't instantly. But you know what she told them? When they asked, how was your leg? What happened to your leg? She said, I was baptized to fulfill the righteousness of Jesus Christ.

Now, now listen, Jesus said that to John. John said, why baptize me? Why do I need to baptize you? And he said, to fulfill all righteousness. What every step of faith requires an act of obedience.

We believe in our heart, but we're that requires a confession with your mouth and a life of demonstrated obedience. Well, baptism is the is the physical act of obedience that's demonstrating you really believe in your heart. Fulfilling all righteousness, the step of faith, the completion. Faith requires hearing. Hearing, God, faith comes by hearing requires belief, but then it's completed by obedience.

That's what she was saying. And now 11 more are ready to be baptized. Come on. Any other thoughts on that? Ready to go.

What happened during the ministry in Lahore and the encounter with the Muslim driver?

Alright. So, after that, we got to do some so we're in Lahore. So, we we left that place like we got in, preached the gospel, baptized him, got out, left. They, we fed him. They ate and stuff because they've been hungry after all the travel and then they went back to their 3 or 4 different refugee camps, 14, 10, and 5 hours away.

Later that day and then the next day, we got to do some ministry with some of their local church around Lahore which is not the area we've been pioneering this work but they've pioneered many works in Pakistan. God's own doing radical things. So we got to go and and minister to some of their churches around Pakistan and they had people that had given their life to Jesus in the last couple weeks that that needed to be baptized. So we got to baptize them, which was awesome. Baptizing many Pakistani believers.

There's a beautiful little girl. There's Jerry baptizing. And then we get to this guy. So, on 1 of the trips to go baptize, you know, we're driving in the car and he's sitting in the back seat. Jerry's beside me and on these, we couldn't have the security guys on the way to Islamabad but we had the security guys on the other parts of the trip because the government could know, you know, because we have some people in our corner even though we're preaching the gospel.

And so, but the security guys are Muslim and it's illegal to convert a Muslim to Jesus. But the Bible says, as you go, preach the gospel. Right? Amen? Amen.

So, even our translators who are gospel workers, they're hesitant to preach the gospel to Muslims because of what it says on the law books. So, we say, hey, we're sitting in the back seat, Muslim driver with his gun and everything and security. Hey, we're we're gonna share the gospel with our driver. Will you translate? Oh, no, brother.

Oh, no. Oh, yes, brother. Yes, you will. And we take them to scripture and they say, oh, okay. So I end up sharing the *gospel* with and I mean, it it it took just like it takes here, getting outside of yourself to share Jesus with somebody at Walmart, getting outside of yourself to share Jesus with a family member that you know, it it takes the same thing, obedience.

Right? So I I had to wrestle with that a little bit and then finally step out and obey. And so I share the gospel with the guy, and and, he he hears it. He asks some question, but then he gets to the end about being born again and he rejects it. And I said, well, can I pray for you?

And he says, oh, yes. That's fine. Through the translator. So I lay my hand on his shoulder as he's driving. And I pray that the Holy Spirit would confirm my word to him.

And I say, hey, as I prayed, what'd you feel? He said, I felt things on the inside. But then he rejected it because of his culture, because fear, whatever it is. He said, but no, no, no. You know, so *God* initiated, like wanted to initiate relationship with him and even supernaturally had him since the presence of God and he was still rejected.

Stuff, right? But the beautiful thing is, after I'm done sharing with him and he rejects this guy, this guy in the back seat overheard everything. Said, hey, hey, hey, hey, I'm Christian. He said, but, you know, I struggle with debt and depression and anxiety. And so, man, the Holy Spirit just felt his presence.

When you when you sense the presence of God, it's a time to lean in. Because his presence is speaking just as loud as his words. You just if if you sense peace, he's speaking peace. You know? So I began to talk to the this guy in the back seat.

How does serving a master in debt relate to spiritual freedom and discipling others?

I said, hey, you know, you're in in in Pakistan when you're in debt, you're a slave to the to the lender. So I said, even though you're a slave to this to who you're in debt to, the bible talks about how you can still work as an "act of worship" and serve your master just as you're serving the Lord. And in doing that, God's gonna develop you and eventually "set you free" too. But even in that, you don't have to have anxiety because Jesus said, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives. So don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Begin to speak to him then laid my hand on him and prayed for him and he was set free of depression right there. But then we get to the place to be baptized and he wants to be baptized because he hadn't been baptized yet. So Jerry baptizes him. Then what happened?

Well, he brought his brother too, remember? His brother was baptized too. We baptized him and also as I was baptizing him, I commissioned him to go, you know, to go and be a part of of what god was already doing and this little guy, he was just amazing. He was just jumping out of the car and running before us. It was like there was no fear.

Didn't you see that? There was no fear anymore in this guy's eyes. He was just and he was, I remember riding, I think I was with Pamela in a car and we're riding along and this this driver is not following protocol like he should be staying close. And, man, this little guy sitting here telling him, I could hear protocol. And all I knew was he's just telling him, you better catch up because these are these are important people right here, you know.

It was just pretty amazing.

It's amazing and and he got to ride with us and stay close and I remember this 1 specific time he came up to me and he said, you're my "spiritual father". Amen. And I said, I said, brother, I appreciate that. You know, Paul says, you don't have many spiritual father. You don't have many fathers.

Right? God is ultimately our father, but he fathers us through people too. And so I said, man, that's an honor, but then I pointed him to Daniel who's there in country. I said, follow him as he follows Jesus, and he'll point you to Christ. Right?

And that's what all of us want to be disciple makers. You wanna grow in your relationship with Jesus? Find somebody that don't know Jesus yet, lead them to Christ, or just came to know Jesus, and begin pouring your life into them if they'll let you. You'll grow faster than ever before. Like, those who the the people who get a girl pregnant and run off, they don't mature.

But the boys who get a girl pregnant and stay, marry the girl, and father the child, they're forced to grow faster. And they forced to to mature quickly. Well, for you guys, as you win people to Jesus or as you learn to disciple and stick around. Amen. That's right.

And you'll be forced to grow faster. Amen? Amen. My buddy Dave DeSoulas does that constantly. He's a disciple maker.

Anyway. Okay. I don't think I'm gonna go in this into this 1 today, but we we got to minister quite a bit, and it was awesome. Just just because of time. We got to do a leadership conference, which was awesome.

I had 1000 leaders there. Ain't that cool? Guys, 2 and a half years ago, there was 1 family. And now there's over 1000 leaders. Leading groups and multiplying groups and stepping into leadership.

You know how? They're discipling. That's right. Everything that they receive, they give out. We're and we're we're teaching them everything.

From day 1, when you're born again, you have everything you need to lead somebody else to Jesus because you have an experience with Jesus. You can tell others the experience you have with Jesus and then you can tell them how you came to know Jesus. Lead them in the same way and you'll grow more rapidly and faster that way than you would sitting in a church for 10 years. That's right. Sitting in a church for 10 years is important.

But sitting in a church for 10 years without discipling others is not Christianity. Amen or o me? If it's o me, repent and move forward. Amen? Amen.

What cultural shifts occurred during the leadership conference regarding women and community wells?

Awesome. Caption that. It's what my wife said.

I see him brother. I see him.

So what we did is is we did with the leaders, we did ministry. So we we prayed for people and stuff, and then we had others stand up that needed prayer, and we had them pray for each other. And we just taught them how to multiply. We we taught, testimony, how to share our testimony, and we had them sharing testimony with 1 another. We taught them how to lead somebody to Jesus or we wanted to get to that, didn't have time.

Then we're gonna have them stand up and practice that with 1 another and continue to learn how to multiply. Amen? This is Wassim. Wassim is Daniel's brother, and he was amazing, full of Jesus, and just more pictures from the leaders conference. Oh, by the way, the gospel's changing culture.

Yeah.

Before this leadership conference, women didn't speak in front of men at all. Women didn't lead small groups or anything. They they wore a shawl over their head and wouldn't even talk, you know, in public period. And because of the gospel of Jesus Jesus Christ, in this culture, what it's doing is where men and women are created in the image of God, which is a beautiful thing. So the women are making disciples too and sharing their testimony too.

And there's revival and it's shifting the culture to more of a kingdom culture.

So

that was actually a first there. Jerry took that picture. It's 1 of their like village huts. What they look like where they. Yeah.

Where they live.

You know, I like I like this picture right here. I just remember where in the Old Testament where was it Gideon where he was thinning out the army and you know, he said, choosing those who drink the water. Well, this guy was a picture of, he's drinking the water but he's keeping his eyes on what's going around and you know, it's pretty cool to me.

So, that's 1 of the wells we put in. That's actually 1 of the last wells we put in. This guy's actually Amen. So, yeah. That man, he was been a Christian for probably about 20 or 30 years, lived in the city near where the village was.

How did the crusade plan evolve regarding healing and honoring spiritual giftings?

But when the floods happened so bad last summer and we gave a lot to help with that and couple different churches came together to do that, he saw what we were doing and he joined in with our team. Now, he's 1 of our leaders that's helping disciple people. That village which these are the pictures from. That before they got a well, like a 1 or 2 months ago, however long it was, they had to walk an hour and a half to go get water every day. And then an hour and a half back.

So it's 3 hours to get water. Clean water or semi clean water. Now they have very clean water that's they called it very sweet. And and it's an opportunity for them to share the gospel and freely give what they freely received. So, the the wells are are a a big deal.

We have a lot another 13 to put in this week and next week and then we'll be caught up 70 total wells we will have put in. Yeah. This is some of our security forces. Isn't that cool? Bad mamma jama.

Just kind of kind of a video of what the streets look like. That's in a city. Okay, to the crusade. This is how many of them got there. Driving couple hours like this to go hear the gospel.

On top of some buses. Now, let me tell you about this man. You know, we had a plan Plan was I was gonna get up after the worship. I'm gonna speak about how we need to open up. *God* needs to open up their hearts to be able to receive.

The Holy Spirit is the 1 that does that. Then, I'm gonna pray. Ask the Holy Spirit to do that with them, then participate in asking that. We did that. It was awesome.

It's great and then this time, felt led for Chris to preach the gospel. He's an evangelist, does amazing things. So, Chris preached the gospel, went awesome. Like, over 17,000 people so far, we've have count of and more are coming in, more testimonies And receive Jesus which is a big deal. It's awesome.

Well, then after that, we decided that that Jerry was gonna get up and pray for healing for people. I just wanna say, because I'm so familiar with Jerry. I'm gonna be really transparent here. Because I'm so familiar with Jerry. A lot of times familiar familiarity breeds dishonor.

I wasn't thinking that at first. I was I was thinking maybe I would do that. But Aaron and and Chris said, hey, think Jerry should do that. As soon as they said it, I was like, yep, you're right. Because I wanna honor the giftings and talents and abilities that God's put in him.

Because what you honor, you receive from. And man, if I honor him, even if he don't think he's ready for that yet. If I honor what God's put in him, man, I'll be able to receive what even he's he doesn't think he's ready for yet. God calling it out. That's why the bible says we outdo 1 another and honoring 1 another.

You don't have to earn honor. You've God God created you in his image. So, if I begin to honor you the way that God sees you, it will pull out his character and his from you, and you'll you'll be loved and you'll be be able to step into stuff you didn't even really believe that you could do. Makes sense? Man, what if we're a church that outdoes 1 another and honoring the giftings and talents and abilities that God put in each other?

How would that multiply? So challenged by Aaron and Chris to honor what is familiar because I meet with Jerry every week. It's like, man, I kinda repented of that. So, Jerry, I want you to pray for healing. 47200 people want you to get up after this and I want you to grab the microphone.

I wanna speak into that just for a minute because days before that, I think I asked David. So, what's the plan? You know, where where do I go? Am I gonna start? I don't know yet.

I think you're gonna end it and I said, okay. But what does that look like? I don't know yet. So, I happen to hear Aaron speak about healing. I think I, healing should be third and I'm thinking, okay.

So, I start asking the Holy Spirit, start preparing my heart for whatever it is and this *healing* and so we're sitting in a KFC. Probably 40 minutes before the crusade and they're talking about it and then all of a sudden, say, David says, okay, you're gonna do healing. Are you good with that? And I'm like, okay. Yeah.

How did the Holy Spirit move during the healing of the man on the mat?

And so, the Holy Spirit just there again, that that anxiousness started to come up, you know, and I remembered that, wait a minute, lord, you've prepared me for this moment. You know, I feel like I'm blocked right now but you feel this heart and so continue on.

Yeah. So so the plan was he gets up after people give their life to Jesus. In the Bible, it says, heal the sick, preach the kingdom, and then other places it says, preach the kingdom, heal the sick. Last time, if you remember in the May, we prayed for healing first, some people got healed, it was awesome, then we preached the kingdom, and it was amazing. This time, just felt led to do it the flip.

We preach the gospel first, then he's gonna get up and ask how many people have pain in their bodies, sickness, that kind of thing. People raise their hand, then pray for them, ask them to test their bodies. We don't fake it till you make it. So if it things really changed, then let us know, you know, and and then move on from there. So, Jerry gets up and he starts talking.

He talks about, he's got the microphone in front of 47,200 people and he starts talking about how Jesus is your healer. Not only does he wanna save your body, save you, but he wants to heal you too. How many of you guys have pain in your body? They raise their hand and he prays for em and so he's getting done praying for em and I'm like, alright, Aaron, it's about to be your turn. He's going to go pray for them to experience the Holy Spirit, baptism of Holy Spirit, that kind of thing in that moment.

So, I said, alright, Aaron. You know, go up, stand by Jerry, get ready. So, Aaron goes up to stand by Jerry. Jerry's right here doing Aaron gets right beside him. As soon as Aaron gets beside him, Jerry runs this way with the microphone.

And I'm like, oh, no. What's going on? Jerry starts going off. Next thing you know, Jerry Jerry looks down and I can't see what he sees because the stage is about this high and people are sitting down on the ground and I'm back there. And he says, hey, you.

Yeah, you. Look at me. Get up. Walk to me. In Jesus name, get up off your mat and "walk to me".

And I'm thinking, oh my gosh. What is going on? Next thing you know, the guy gets up off his mat and walks to him. And I'm like, what just happened? So, what happened, Jerry?

Well, after, you know, after people raise their hand about they were healed, I was kinda looking out front and I was gonna get 3 people just to come up that were close and share a short short brief testimony. And all of a sudden, I look over and I see this guy on this mat and I see him working his leg like this and I said, man, Holy Spirit's doing something and so, I just immediately, it's like the Holy Spirit took me over there and I just remember going going over and said, get up and walk in Jesus name and then all of a sudden, Pamela, I said, ask him if if he's walked and they said a little bit. So, 2 guys were picking him up to stand up and I said, let him go and he, man, I squatted down and I said, come to me in Jesus name and he walked to me and then I got to pray for him.

So, so so we got pictures of and they just came in today this morning and so I apologize. I didn't get to from the the time we had our meeting back there about an hour ago, I didn't get to put them on the slides thing, but I have them. So if you wanna see them, you can see them. Of them carrying this man into the crusade and putting him on his mat and then pictures of him standing at the front of the stage walking to Jerry. Like,

What happened when demons manifested and the deaf mute girl was healed?

I didn't even know that at all until this morning. I didn't know that they carried him in. I mean, 2 men carried him in. He was laying on a blanket flat on his back.

But that's just, that's just 1 of many. Now, it's about to get real. This lady, fifth generation witch, black magic, fifth generation. She's was currently or was a Hindu priest. Full of demons.

And they just began after we preach the gospel and began people began getting healed like that because as Jerry's doing that, the rest of crowd standing up like, oh, what's going on? And then, all of a sudden, things are happening. So, you know, Aaron gets up and talks about the Holy Spirit and being filled with the Holy Spirit. And as Aaron's talking to them, this might challenge your theology. That's okay.

I'm all good with it. Just just go with me. But as Aaron's talking about, you know, the Holy Spirit coming and and and them experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit, 1 lady 4 rows back falls on the ground, starts screaming and twisting in a circle, manifesting a demon. Well, everybody gets back in a circle. Like, there's 47,200 people here and this is happening.

Everybody's trying to see, you know, and and so, 1 of the team goes and casts the thing out and she's okay. Next thing you know, they start bringing all these people who are manifesting demons to the stage and they're just laying them on the stage and they're all like this and we're like, okay. Well, it's happened in the Bible. So, we're gonna lay our hands in Jesus name. Come out.

Next thing you know. We just crazy enough to believe what it says in the bible. You know what I'm saying? So there we go. We're praying and like in Jesus name, come out.

It doesn't happen instantly, but about 60 seconds later, they're free. And now they're talking and sharing the testimony of how they're free and and telling their story of of what Jesus did for them. This lady couldn't walk. There she's walking and running up and down. Oh, this guy couldn't see.

Yeah. He got in the blue.

Healed. Eyes healed. There's what I was talking about them laying the people on the stage and we just gotta start praying for him. It was crazy. So, we're praying for him and then they're healed and it's amazing.

Jerry, there was 1 specific testimony you had of a baby or a little child. Would you share that?

How did personal encounters with the Holy Spirit lead to conversions on the plane and at the gym?

Yeah, it was looked like an Afghan mom and her daughter came up to the stage and man, I just looked at the the girl and she was so beautiful. She had sandy blonde hair and I just, she's probably 5. I picked her up, pulled up to the stage, and just loved on her and then I just kinda set her back down and her mom, my interpreter told me that she couldn't speak or couldn't hear. So, prayed.

Deaf and mute.

Yeah. Deaf and mute. So, I prayed, put my hands over eyes and over her mouth and prayed for her once and her mom was talking to her and so I prayed *again* and she turned around and her mom said, say thank you and the little girl said, thank you and and and the mom goes, and I said, did she speak? And she goes, yes. So, I pulled her up to the stage because Daniel was sitting right there and I said, I said, Daniel, she couldn't hear her speaking.

She just told her mom, thank you and so Daniel was asking her to to speak which it was loud. A lot of people around and she was sitting there with a smile and she just looked at Daniel and he he was asking her to speak. She looked at him. She goes, no. And I mean, that was confirmation that she heard and she spoke and it was just the power of the Holy spirit.

So,

this didn't just, oh no. This didn't just happen in Pakistan. Amen. On the plane ride back. This young man felt like god highlighted him to me.

I can't explain what I mean by he high. I I I just noticed him and was interested in like talking to him for some for some reason. I I call it god highlighted him to me. I noticed a tattoo he had on his arm about a music note and then I noticed the back of his hat had a guitar on it. I'm like, well, I should probably strike a conversation up with him about being a guitarist.

So, I went and did it. Next thing you know, gives his life to Jesus on the plane. And he's like, this is exactly his tears in his eyes. This is exactly what I needed. I'm I'm going to work for my family.

They're from The Philippines and and and my wife and kids are back home. I'm gonna be gone for 9 months. I said, you're gonna share this with her? He said, absolutely. He grew up Catholic.

Didn't know what it mean to be born again. Had thought he had to work for his salvation. "Gave his life" to Jesus, was "born again", and ready to to follow him. So, that's that's this man. This man, this was at what's the junk place that I take the kids to?

Why is equipping believers for ministry essential beyond just the pastor's role?

Last couple of days? Here. Sky Zone. Sky Zone. This was at Sky Zone.

2, 3 days ago, just a guy walked up with a knee brace and I'm like, you know what? I need to pray for him. So I go, say, hey man, what happened to your knees? Said, oh, I had surgery. I got about 4 4 months left till I till, you know, till my my healing's up.

And I said, well, can I pray for it now? I think God can do it faster. He said, sure. So I lay my hand on his knee to pray for him. Stand up, get to share a little bit of Jesus with him.

He he was, thank you, and we need wanted to walk away. So he as he's walking away, the guy that's sitting down overhearing everything says, hey, come here. Calls me over. I share the gospel with him. He gives his life to Jesus right

there. Amen.

I'm in It's praise the Lord. I'm in I'm in, the gym. Was it yesterday, Mariah? Day before yesterday? I don't even know.

And and God highlighted this group of 19, 20 year olds to me, 18 year olds. And so I go over and talk to them about Jesus before I leave. Next thing you know, all all 3 of them are giving their life to Jesus. And and Mariah happens to be in the gym, and 1 of them's a girl, and say, hey, come over here. Connect.

So because she needs to be discipled. And so connect Mariah with this girl. Like, what I'm telling you is what we did in Pakistan, it's not just me. It's his daily life too. Like, this is the life of a Christian.

This is not just the life of a pastor. It's not just the life of this is the life of a believer. Those who believe, these signs will follow those who believe. Like, as a pastor, as a leader in the church, it's my job to equip you for the works of ministry. I'm a end with this.

My favorite part of the whole trip was at the end of the crusade. Everybody's leaving, get on their buses, and the leaders that organized the whole thing are standing in a big circle. It's probably 50 of them, maybe 70, maybe 30. I'm not good with numbers. Not 30.

Maybe 70, maybe 80, maybe 50. I'm not good with numbers. But they're in a big circle. And Daniel has us all "lay hands" on them and and pray for them and commission them. Then Daniel and Promilla get in the center of the circle and they say, you know, they asked me, they call me they call me their mentor, just because the way that the relationship has worked out over the last couple years and asked me to pray for them.

What does it mean to surrender your life and "follow Jesus" as Lord rather than just Savior?

And so I lay my hand on Daniel and Promilla and I begin to pray for them. And then God gives me a word for the leaders. And it's the same word I'm gonna give to you. I tell them that, like, I say, look, follow Daniel and Promilla as as you follow Jesus. Because the same things they do, you will do an even greater.

Jesus said that to his church. He said that to the bride. He told the disciples, the same things I do, you will do an even greater. And I told him, I said, look, it's gonna cost you yourself. You're gonna have to deny yourself.

Otherwise, you're not gonna experience it. To the level that you surrender your life, that's the level you experience the life of Jesus through your life. The level of surrender, that's the level you're gonna experience his life in and through your life. I said, so it's gonna cost you yourself. But here's the reality.

Some of you, you're gonna die. If you choose to follow Jesus, you're gonna die. You're gonna be killed for your faith. Some of you are gonna be persecuted. Some of you will be tortured.

Some of you will have to leave your leave family and and friends and everything else in order to follow Jesus. I said, but if you if you commit your life to following him, I promise you this. You'll go places you've never experienced before, never thought you'd ever go. You'll speak languages you never thought you could speak. You'll do things you never thought you could do.

You'll see the blind healed. You'll see the dead raised. You'll see the lame walk again. You'll see many come to know Jesus through your life if you're willing to follow him, not just as savior, but as your lord. And it's the same for you.

This isn't just for Pakistan missionaries. America needs the church to stand up and not just sit down. Amen. But to follow Jesus as Lord, not just on Sunday morning, but with a life that says, "give me Jesus". You can have all this world.

Just give me Jesus. To live a life that's completely and totally surrendered saying, I want you and nothing else. And whatever you say, it doesn't matter. The answer is already yes, Lord. Even if it cost me all of my preferences and all of my comfort, I'm gonna live the rest of my life as a life of faith.

Don't think I'm gonna let you off the hook. My question is, church, who's in? Who wants to walk this thing out with me? If you do, stand up. I want you to just grab the hand of the person next to you.

*Lord Jesus*, I just pray for this church that this would be a moment, a "line in the sand" where they, every single person commits. Lord, to follow you with all of their heart, with the fear of the lord, which the Bible says is the hatred of evil. The hatred of wickedness. Teach us what it means to follow you. Lord god, and to to fear you more than we fear what other people think.

*Lord God*, to to to be so captured by your love that we can't help but live for you and for others. To drop all preferences and be committed to the process that you have for our lives. Wherever it may take us. Even if it has us being a stay at home mom for the next decade. Praise the Lord for the process.

And as long as you're with us in the process, I'm good with it because that's your calling and that's the highest calling that I could have for my life. So I dedicate my life to following you in the process because your presence is enough, and you can use a stay at home mom for the next decade to change the world more than somebody that tries to do a bunch of good things, but it's not with you. So Lord, I commission every single person that has said yes, Lord, in their heart as full time ministers of the gospel. There's no more secular job. There's no more secular work.

Their work is their mission field. *Lord, let them do their job as under the Lord, as such an act of worship* with such excellence that their their boss says, why are you going so like, what's going on? I have to promote you. Lord god, give him creative ideas and and, excitement lord god about starting things and and not just starting but lord make em finishers. Lord, they're faithful because you're faithful, father.

*Lord, bless them more than they could ever imagine. Lord, teach them what it means to spend time with you and to hear your voice and and and to believe what you say and then to be obedient no matter the cost to themselves lord god* because that's what you called us to do to live that type of life. And lord, I pray that if there's a non believer, somebody who hasn't been born again in this service, I pray their hearts burning so much that they can't walk out of here without asking somebody. Can I come to know Jesus? Teach me.

Show me. And if that's you, if you need to know Jesus, I want you to ask somebody before you leave. You don't have to ask me. There's many people in this room that could lead you to Jesus. If you need prayer, if you need healing, ask somebody to pray for you.

How does the church commit to multiplication and equip believers to engage the culture with the "love of Jesus"?

You don't need us to pray for you. There's believers in here that have the same spirit in them that they can lay hands on you and pray for you. You are a church of ministers of the gospel and it's time to multiply. Amen. Amen.

We commit ourselves to multiplication. In Jesus name.

[Speaker 3] [01:00:52] The beautiful thing about this is, this is just a snippet of what the Lord is doing all over the world through those who have said yes and through their yes, they followed in an action. So, I don't want us to be a group of people who say yes and then just have like a really good feeling and we leave here and we're like, yeah, that was great but we go out on mission in our lives with our kids, with our with our employees or our bosses, with our coworkers, with our families, that we are making disciples, intentionally making disciples everywhere that we go. We want to help you with that at Real Church. Our our mission statement is to engage the culture with the love of Jesus which we hope that we've done that. We got you here.

We showed you, hey, we're here. Come join us. To establish the believer in

[Speaker 1] [01:01:43] the local

[Speaker 3] [01:01:44] church because being established in a local body of Christ is important. It's throughout the New Testament that you're supposed to be with other believers on mission and the mission that god has given us, we want to invite you on and so this coming Sunday, April 2 at 05:00, we have our established dinner. You can sign up for that by scanning this QR code. You can ask anyone that's wearing 1 of these lanyards or just say, hey, I need help getting signed up. Scan this, go to sign ups, and sign up for established.

It's a dinner where we provide dinner, childcare, and we share who we are as a church so that you can kind of know what you're getting into before you get into it. So, we encourage you to do that. The next part of our process is to equip the believer to engage the culture with the love of Jesus. If you'll allow us to, we want to say, hey, follow us as we're following Jesus and then the last 1 is to empower the ready to live their god given purpose. God has a good purpose for every single person in this room.

Every single person and he says in Jeremiah-29:11, he says, I know the plans I have for you. There are plans that he has but like he wants us to make them our plans too and to do that, we have to follow him and be obedient to him and so we want to help you follow out in that purpose. We would love to have you alongside us. Lord, thank you. Thank you so much for this local body.

Thank you for what you're doing here and around the world. God, thank you for these new believers. I pray that they step into being discipled and that they start making disciples and lord, I pray that it's not just what's happening in Pakistan but it's happening here on just as grand of a scale with your people that we are multiplying and that America that that we fall to our knees *worshiping* you as king of kings and lord of lords and that's only going to happen as we get outside of ourselves and into you. We love you lord and in the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

*God* bless you guys. You're dismissed.
