You are called to step into the authority Jesus has already given you to break every chain of oppression. Start by renouncing the lies and spirits that try to steal your peace, and invite the Holy Spirit to fill your life completely. Walk out of this place with the confidence that your freedom is secured in His name.
I'm reaching out, he said he wants to meet up, I'm like perfect, we have this thing called Belong, why don't you meet me there? There was a night at Belong that I was gonna send everyone on outreach, even including even those we've been pouring into. And that that Tuesday, he texted me and said, bro, I remember 10 years ago that I used to do ministry like you just did for me. Could I could we just go out and and share the gospel with people? And it wasn't even coming to be discipled, was hey, come and share the gospel that actually drew him in.
He came that Tuesday, he heard how that he was actually qualified to share the gospel. He began to then shadow me, we went to Publix that night, we began to talk to a few people, prayed for a few people, but the whole process and the drive, I was just discipling. And this caught something inside of him because that week, he actually went back to his previous drug dealer to share the gospel. And not only that, not only that, that he was he was deciding to throw away all of his drugs, and then in discipleship, you lose touch. They start ghosting you.
And, man, so I was texting this texting him, no response, or a bunch of stuff, and eventually, he says, I'm gonna come to church on Sunday and meet with him. I told him, man, you gotta go all in with Jesus, and that shook him a little bit. Then 2 months pass, and there's a time period where I'm not really hearing from him. There's another Sunday that he comes, and he looks completely different. And he's like, dude, I gotta tell you what happened.
And he wouldn't even let me wait till after service. He was like, no, I gotta tell you now. And so he begins to tell me that how the enemy tried to draw him back into his old life, and he was beginning to partner with drug use again. And there was a there was a product that he was given, and he was trying the product. So while he is high on a drug, he hears a loud booming voice, not externally, but internally he said.
That was shouting, saying, if you continue this path, you'll die in prison, but if you follow me, I'll restore you "restore you to life". And it so shook him, he comes 2 days later, he's like, dude, I'm so on fire right now. He's like, God made it so plain, so obvious, like there's no other option. That is the mercy of God. That is how discipleship actually takes root, and there's seeds that are planted, but there's seed time and harvest that has to take place.
And
and he's still, like we're still walking together. It's funny, every time I pick him up, there's been processes that I picked him up from his house, and he just gets in the car and vents to me. And I'm like, alright, alright, just listening. And then, he's just like, man, how do you even connect with God? I said, I'm so glad you asked.
And, we get to the building where we host Belong. I put on some music, I said, let me tell you about how to adore the Lord. And as I began to share with him, to acknowledge that he's present and he's near, and to adore him above all any Above all else, I just put on the music and began to to pray out loud, I said, Lord, thank you that you're so close, and I love you and I adore you. And immediately he starts weeping under the power and presence of God. And now, it's become a habit.
Every time I pick him up, hey man, you ready to pray? He's like, oh yeah, let's do it. Because in the presence of God, there's transformation of life. I'm not pointing anyone to me. That would be sad.
I'm pointing everyone to Jesus. And and we have to get this in in tune with our spirits that Jesus is the great king, and I am simply a vessel who he has decided to fill with his Holy Spirit by his mercy and his blood, that I can be a vessel and usher someone else to him. Oh, to be to be in his temple day and night. Just to be near him and usher people to him. And there's many stories like Jake.
Man, there's there's many stories like Jake that that need to happen in this county. Guys, if you're if you're in here and you're like, yo, he just said that he had demons get cast out of him, I've never seen a demon, maybe go on outreach with me. Because man, I see it often. Right Eric? You've been with me like 3 times and 3 things just happened, it's crazy.
But it's it's real. There's a spiritual war that we are in, we have the victory because of Jesus, but are we gonna take authority when we see the demonic spirit? Because there's people's lives who are counting on that. The thing is, deliverance, deliverance is not the destination. It's the doorway to discipleship.
Yeah. Just like someone needs healing. Well, you pray for healing, you see it healed, that's not the end of their story. They still walk with Jesus. So y'all ready to pray?
Jesus, thank you that you are close. You are so near. Have your way in this place. You are worthy. You are worthy.
You are worthy. I wanna read from *Luke-4:18* through 19. It says, the spirit of the Lord is on me because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of the sight for the blind, to set the captives free or the oppressed free. To proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.
This is Jesus reading, he's in the temple and he's picking up a scroll from Isaiah, and this scroll, this passage was specifically for the coming Messiah. He's reading this, and he doesn't stop there. He says in verse 21, today this is fulfilled in your hearing. And of course, that stirred up a religious spirit in that temple. They were like, man, we gotta come after this dude.
Because that's when they started plotting and and going against Jesus, because he proclaimed he was the Messiah. But I want you to notice what's on the job description of the Messiah, is to set the captives free, set the oppressed free. We see it in the life of Jesus over and over again. We're gonna read a passage where Jesus is casting out demons. And I'm bringing this to you because America is not immune to the demonic.
If you just turn on the news, my goodness. How could you say there's not some type of influence at work here, or agenda at work here? Like how can we actually not know what's going on and say like, well the demons, they You know, when Jesus died, everything just That just stopped there. Like, what? Well, sickness still continued.
I mean, what what other what other point is there? I think what happens is America has learned to hide their demons. And it's more of a covert operation and guerrilla warfare because over time, the church downplayed it and said, that doesn't exist anymore, therefore, we'll just continue living how we live, and then everyone is becoming oppressed over time because there's no realization we're actually in a spiritual war. 1 way to really lose to your enemy is by ignoring that he exists. So Jesus, he calls us calls us to cast out demons.
*Matthew-10:8*, as you go proclaim this message, the "kingdom of heaven" has come near, Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely you give. So he doesn't only say share the message. He says, demonstrate the message. The gospel without demonstrations, we're we're If we ever do the share of the gospel without demonstrations, we're We say, well, God Jesus is good enough to forgive your sin, but not enough to heal your body, not enough to set you free from oppression.
Demonstrations show that he gives you the full package, it's "paid in full". See, Jesus paid a full price. And he's over here like, hello church. Could I interest you in some freedom? It's paid in full, and yet we stiff arm them.
And say, that doesn't really exist anymore. Like, hang on. He says, the kingdom of heaven has come near you. What does that mean? We proclaim the kingdom of heaven as is near, at hand.
Whatever is the need in this earth, the kingdom has an answer to supply. And, that is the purpose. We demonstrate the gospel. In Mark-16:17, Jesus delegated again the great commission, but then he says this, these signs will follow those who believe, that in my name they will cast out demons. There's a longer list, but that was the first thing on the list.
Guys, this was "normal Christianity". So much so that I'm I'm like, dude, did they have a demonized person in the back, and they're like, alright, show that you're a believer. Cast this thing out. Like, was was there the demonstration of power that was coming from it? This was normal Christianity, and the thing is, we can't say normal Christianity is based on my experience.
It has to be based on his. Based on his word. Even in this time, other pay There was pagentry going on, they were worshiping false idols, false gods. Even Paul in first Corinthians, he says, you're partaking with idols who are actually demonic spirits. He says, stop partaking with that.
And he's even talking to the church of Corinth. But I'm gonna bring this up really quick. In *Matthew-15* verse 22. This is a Canaanite gentile woman who approaches Jesus, and she says, Lord, son of son of David, have mercy on me. My daughter is demon possessed and suffering terribly.
And then, Jesus initially didn't answer her, and the disciples urged him to send her away. But, verse 24, I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. She she kneels and pleads again, and Jesus replies, verse 26, it is not right to take the children's bread, everybody say children's bread. Children's bread. And throw it to the dogs.
She answers, yes Lord, even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master's table. Jesus replies, woman, you have great faith and your request is granted. And her daughter was healed at that moment. I wanna break down 2 words there, which is children's bread. What does children's bread mean?
1, the fact that he's brought up children, he was talking about the children of Israel who were under the *covenant* with Abraham. The covenant with God's people, because the Jewish people were God's covenanted family, and of course, as time happened and Jesus resurrected from the dead, he also began to include the gentiles. It's powerful. We got included in God's family. And then bread.
That's the children's bread. What does bread mean right here? Well, 1, we're supposed to ask for bread daily. Give us today our daily bread. But bread, in this context, is deliverance.
Her daughter was demon possessed, and he brought up the children's bread. So in this context, it refers to the power of God, specifically *freedom* from demonic oppression and healing. This woman is asking for her daughter to be delivered from a demon. So, *deliverance* is the children's bread. So might I submit this to you, that deliverance is actually for the believer.
Why would I say that? I know that might have struck something right there. I believe deliverance is actually for the believer, because how can you really receive deliverance if you don't accept the deliverer? If And I've had people, I used to work on a prayer line, they called in, they said, hey, can you cast this negative energy out of me? I said, well man, have you ever committed your life to Jesus?
He says, no, and I don't want to. I said, well, I can't serve you today then, Because why would I cast a demon out where it might turn return worse if he doesn't feel it rightly? You have to have the deliverer to receive deliverance. Even if it's vice versa, like hey, cast a demon out, lead them to the Lord. But are they willing to give their life to Jesus?
I've had many times where I've had to say, hey, I don't think you're ready for deliverance. And, what I realized over time is that some of these people just wanted to be free from the consequence of their sin, versus actually serve and get rid of their sin. Y'all with me church? *Ephesians-4:27*. Do I need to change mics?
Alright. What you're saying, yeah, but I don't know about them. Okay, handheld. Where? Test.
No popping, no popping. Alright. That popping demon come out. Alright. Comedic relief.
Alright. Ephesians-4:27, this is Paul writing to the church of Ephesus and he says, do not give the devil a foothold. What does foothold mean? It's a Greek word, topos, which breaks down to give place, give room, give a base of operations. It's taking territory.
The audience who is hearing this, the way they're hearing this with the word topos is do not grant the devil any place, room or operating ground in your life for him to run. This is vital, this is important because there are still many many believers who don't walk in the fullness of freedom that Jesus purchased. They're still believers in bondage. And yes, they've submitted their life to Jesus and now his spirit has joined as 1 spirit with theirs, but man, we still have a soul, mind, will and emotions and a body which is our where we live. We live in a body, we have a soul but we are a spirit.
But he he has *sanctified* our spirit, but man we've got to renew our soul, we've got to take under submission our body to follow Jesus and be fully free and enjoy the fullness of his *freedom* with that. Which means I don't want to give the devil a place in my life. I don't want to open any door. See, people who believe in Jesus can still be influenced by demons and it starts that way. They start with phase 1, influence.
They wanna throw fiery darts at you and put thoughts in your mind whether you receive them or accept them and they wanna They're kinda like fishing. They're like, are they gonna catch this? Is this going to hook them? And it might look like this. It might look like someone at work, they did something that hurt you.
And then, this thing of offense begins to reside. And then with offense comes unforgiveness. And then you have this thought of saying, well maybe I should talk to them about that and just get things right, but then you decide, you know what, I'm not going to talk to them about that because next time that they throw something at me, can throw this back at them. And then this thought of high morality comes and then pride comes in. And then you're walking all prideful and boastful and now you became a resting place for anything demonic that looks like that to rest in.
Does this make sense? Let's not build the devil's nest. Let's not give him a place or a home or a room because this is the temple of the Holy Spirit. I don't want any closet with a skeleton in it inside this temple. I want the Lord to feel at home and not a demonic presence to feel at home by the way that I live and operate and function.
You all with me? The **blood of Jesus**. So you even thinking about this, the *temple* that had the holy of holies had the presence and spirit of the Lord. It was still the same temple that Jesus made a whip and threw out the den of thieves. You'd be like, well they can't exist, you know, Holy Spirit can't exist within the same place of demons.
It's a perfect illustration that even in the same temple, there was a den of thieves and he said, this is actually a house of prayer. And then he was known for the zeal of his house. We have to steward what God has given us. It's stewardship of the Christian life. Do not walk in bondage, walk in freedom.
And we're gonna get to *freedom* here. Everybody take a deep breath. We good. We good. We good.
No more popping, that's just Thank you Lord. Alright. But then phase 2, they integrate so they see that you have actually built room for them and then they, like a "roaring lion", like to seek who they can devour. It's icky. It's gross.
But the thing is that they want to integrate with a person. So *deliverance* for the non believer doesn't bear much fruit because that spirit, just like Jesus said, they would go in waterless places, they would roam around, they would see, they would go back to their host and be like, well, it's cleaned up. So they go and find some more and actually becomes a worse problem than before. The beautiful thing is, as a born again believer, when you cast out demons and you get in filled with the Holy Spirit, it's the Holy Spirit who's taking territory. So actually, deliverance is a sign of health.
It's a sign that I'm pursuing holiness. And when I'm pursuing God in holiness, these dark things begin to shut off. Man, it's quiet in here. Alright. I do want to recognize too, I'm not 1 of those guys, 1, I'm not a deliverance minister.
Okay? I do deliverance but I just like to call it normal Christianity. But I'm not 1 of those guys who are going to point at every little thing and say, that's a demon, that's a demon, that's a demon. And I'm not necessarily equipping you to do that either Because just because your car is breaking down, you might not need deliverance for your car. Just because you heard your washing machine rumble because it's on a high spin cycle, does not mean you need deliverance for your washing machine.
It might not be a demon. It might not be spiritual warfare. You might just need to rebalance it. You might just need a oil change. Okay?
Fair? 1 guy I heard, he said, if it's not practical, it probably isn't spiritual. And that's the thing, this is all practical, it doesn't have to be mystical. I'm just bringing I'm demystifying some of this stuff for you. Also, not everything is a demon, meaning we cannot "blame shift" everything on a demon before our own immaturity.
Alright. Blame shifting your responsibility to the devil will never help you and will never set you free. If we don't take ownership and responsibility of how we participated with the enemy's work, We will never be set free from the enemy's work. It's ownership, it's the part of repentance. Oh God, I realized that that that was actually me partnering with it and I realized that offense came to be in a root and now every time I think about that person, I can't stand them because I allowed that little seed that they have nothing, they don't even know about to actually spark inside of me and it built a home for something that's not supposed to be there.
Jesus still promotes healthy habits, healthy lifestyle. This is not something that's like, well, you know, we don't have to take care of our bodies. Like no, take care of yourself, choose wisely and don't blame everything on the devil. There's a pastor named Vlad Savchuk who is from Hungry Generation Church and he says, we cannot crucify demons and we can't cast out the flesh. We have to crucify the flesh and cast out demons.
So that means we need to discern what is our flesh and the lack of discipline versus a demonic power. And I'm also not equipping you today to hunt for demons because that's not the way Jesus did it. But when they showed themselves, he handled it. Meaning, I'm I'm really wanting to open people's eyes today how real the spiritual realm is so that when it's in front of you, you can know how to deal with it and take authority as a believer. So all this talk about demons, what are demons?
Y'all ready for this? Demons are **disembodied evil** spiritual beings who are in opposition to God and they actively work to influence, oppress and deceive humanity. Another way of putting it is they are personalities without a body so they look for host. Can I get a oh? 0.
That's how we should be feeling about the demonic stuff. Like, it's gross, it's icky. Get out of here. You don't belong in me. You don't belong in my life.
You don't belong to have influence over me. Their objective is to distort, corrupt and destroy God's image on this earth. Who's made in God's image?
We
are. That's his aim, to distort and corrupt it. How do they function? Well, 1, they oppress the minds of a human. And there's many examples of this, even the names of different spirits that Jesus cast out was the "spirit of fear", the spirit of bondage, the unclean spirit, the familiar spirit, the religious spirit.
A religious spirit is when you become obsessed with performing for God and you get obsessed with doing things for God but outside of relationship with him. Never let service replace your intimacy with him. And then, after they oppress their minds, they manifest their own appetite in a person to gain partnership. What I mean? Means the spirit of lying, that's his characteristic, that's that's the personality, that is his function, is to lie.
And in order to actually satisfy itself, it has to find a willing host to be able to lie from their mouth. Sound gross? Because it is. It's nasty, it's gross, we don't want it. The perverse spirit doesn't satisfy in sexual immorality unless it has a host to fulfill sexual immorality.
Greed in the same way, there's a partnership, rage. Rage is the same way. They they find someone who is willing to have the anger and continue in that anger and then they they make their home there. Thing is, they don't belong there. *Divination*.
*Divination* likes to actually Divination is several things. Divination will twist the words of the righteous and will bring you a false word. Divination is is also included in new age and the tarot cards. Divination is is finding a source of supernatural power outside of Christ himself. Witchcraft is similar.
Witchcraft is about control and manipulation to make other people see you a certain way. And when you begin to try to shift narratives about how people see you, you actually self sabotage. You begin to see be seen this a different way. Meaning, if I have to be seen as the most spiritual person in the room, oh my goodness and I'm obsessed. Oh my they have to know I'm the most spiritual person in the room.
Or whatever it may be. They have to believe I'm the best boss they've ever had. Like, yo, that's some self sabotaging thoughts there. Because it's actually working against you. You'll start to control and manipulate to get your way and get other people's views to look a certain way, but it's actually off.
It's not right. And then demonic spirits can cause sickness, the spirit of infirmity**, the deaf spirit, the dumb spirit and even even I bring the example of Jesus, he saw a woman who was bent over backwards, and it said that she was suffering and crippled that way for 18 years with the spirit of infirmity. And so he cast it out, he heals her on the Sabbath, people were upset and he says, this is the daughter of Abraham. 18 years. Do you not care about the daughter of Abraham who was oppressed by Satan?
That is the peace that we, our children of God, do not allow the oppression of the devil to take place in your life. There's hope, there's more from Jesus to experience, which is why in 1 John-4:4, it says, he who was in you is greater than he who is in the world. So we don't have to fear the demons. We have authority by the name of Christ Jesus, who is the highest ranking authority in the spiritual realm, heaven and on earth. And we get to carry his name boldly and he lives in us.
I'll say this, like he he said in Matthew-28:18, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. And then Colossians-2:14, it says, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us, he who has taken it away by nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them triumphing over them by the cross. He disarmed the powers and authorities which means those powers and authorities, they have been dissed. He dissed their arms.
He's like, that's a nasty elbow. Ew, that's alright, come on. Alright. But I don't know, Jesus released the diss track and he said, you're done. So Jesus modeled *deliverance* and Jesus is always the model we want to follow.
1 thing I'll say before I jump into this is that the reason Jesus carried so much *authority* over demons is because he had no partnership with what he was casting out. You will not have authority over casting out a demon unless you are outside of that. Like if I'm struggling with a fence and I'm trying to cast a demon out of a fence out of someone, there's not going to be much that's happening. That's why we constantly are pursuing holiness and we're saying, Lord, search me and know me. Reveal any wickedness in my life and I hold it up to you.
Like, bro, I don't I don't want anything in my life to be hidden from God's glorious light. So we jump into the model of Christ and he walked in his identity and authority, he recognized when he was dealing with the demonic spirit. Jesus told demons to be silent, not to make a show and talk in the mic for me. He delivered the willing. I want you to notice every miracle Jesus did, there was a willing person on the other side.
There was a ask, there was a consent. I've had people I remember when Helene was coming, me and another guy, we went down the strip of Clearwater Beach and we were at the stores, they were closing out the stores and stuff. And this guy, we knew he was under the influence of drunkenness, but also there was something else. And so he's walking around like, oh, and like grunting and stuff. And I said, hey man, how's it going?
He said, oh, it's good to be here. I said, why is that? I said, he said, because they're closing up these stores and when things are empty, that's the time to fill it. And I'm like, oh, welcome to Clearwater. I said, you know what we're filling this with?
The Holy Spirit. He says, oh. I said, would you like to be set free by Jesus? And he like runs off like gollum a little bit. But, I'm not kidding.
You think I'm joking. It really happened that way. I'm like, dude, that was crazy. But the thing is, he was not desiring the freedom that was able to be offered. And that's the thing, we offer the freedom, they have to say yes.
They have to say yes to him. We can't force it upon them, they have to have their participation with restoration. In fact, I'm willing to argue that the to the degree of surrender that you have unto the Lord is the degree of freedom you'll experience. I've had many times where we've had a degree of freedom for a person. Told them at a point, I said, hey, I don't think I think you need more time to process and and go to the Lord and seek full surrender.
And then they come back and they'll they'll have more freedom. But the ultimate goal again is not deliverance for another deliverance session. It's deliverance for the sake of discipleship and becoming a disciplined 1 of Christ. Jesus did not negotiate with demons. He did not say you can stay there as long as you don't do this and this and that.
We don't do that. That's not what Jesus did. And then he remained calm. Think about that 1. And then after someone got freedom, he gave instruction to preserve freedom.
He always he often said, "go and sin no more". And he was giving them instructions on how to preserve their freedom. And that is the huge part with discipleship. I want to also recognize that we are not the deliverer, Jesus is. If casting out demons begins to take things like it just soaks up all my energy, then I need to even reposition.
Lord, I thank you that you are the deliverer, I am not. I am your vessel. I am I am your son who walks in this authority that you gave me. So we walk in confidence with his authority. *Deliverance* is not always about the demon.
*Deliverance* is actually more about God filling you up. I'll tell you this, we another prayer line testimony, this woman called in, she's like, I'm hearing voices and I'm seeing figures inside of my home and instantly the Holy Spirit, he instructed me, he said, don't don't rebuke anything. And I said, okay. So he said, but pray that I would fill her with my Holy Spirit. So on this call, I get into the time of prayer and then she she's telling me even more about her stuff and I I get to praying and I'm saying, Holy Spirit, would you fill her up and baptize her fully?
And she makes this crazy noise. She's like, ah, and it went on for like longer than a breath usually lasts. And she got done, she closed her mouth, she's like, what happened? We're just over the phone, I'm like, I can't, I wish I could kind of see this for a second. Like, what is happening on this other side?
I said, it's okay, God is there, he's working on you. And then the Lord said, now cast it out. And said, why don't we just pray because I know you just received some freedom. Why don't we just pray? And so we prayed and I said in the "name of Jesus", every demon come out of her that's causing this confusion, this sickness, this the visions and the thoughts.
And she makes that whole noise again, it was like round 2. I'm like, dude, my time limit on my call is going over a little bit. But she got done, she's like, what is happening? I said, it's okay. All of those voices, they just left.
And I just reassured her that she can just get in the word to pray and to worship, put on worship music and begin worshiping the Lord, and she received freedom that day. So *deliverance* is more about people being filled up than about getting something out. The thing is, often the way that they fortify strongholds is getting you to justify why they should be there. Again, back to the illustration of offense. What happens is people will justify their offense and be like, I have the right to hold this against them.
I have a right to hold this unforgiveness against them. I have a right and then you build strongholds that will shape your mind. Shape the way you're thinking. That's not what we want. We want real freedom.
And Jesus even says this about being filled with him. He says in Matthew-12:28, but if it is by the spirit of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. It's the it's the evidence of the kingdom of God when a demon comes out. It's his dominion that begins to reign in a person. So practical deliverance, you guys ready to be equipped to cast demons out?
Practical deliverance is 1 we start with reconciliation, we check, have you been born again? Would you like to receive the deliverer so you can really receive the fullness of freedom you actually need? And so reconciliation, we check with that. And then there is *repentance*, which is recognizing freedom is needed. You know that's the biggest deal?
Is getting like People who don't know that they have a problem is like the hardest people to help out, you know what I mean? But if they recognize, oh man, you're right, this is actually something that I've demonically just even empowered in my life. I've allowed these thoughts to run rampant and it even has consumed my thought life and my dreams and that sort of thing. But repentance, recognizing the freedom is needed, it's so necessary because even repentance, it could mean throwing some objects away that you shouldn't have. Whatever you're bound to, maybe it's cutting those things off.
Third practical piece of deliverance is renounce. What does renounce mean? Renouncing is not a prayer to God. Renouncing is declaring to the devil you break ties with him. So renouncing means you got to break up with the devil in that area and break his little heart.
Renouncing So is actually removing ties to any demonic influence or entity. We're going to go into even more depth in this in minute. And then we release. Releasing means we're forgiving, which you're releasing someone who's hurt you or maybe even forgiving yourself, you're releasing yourself from your own actions and then casting out. So we want to do some prep work, we want to do all that, cast out a demon and by doing that, you take authority, in the name of Jesus come up and out.
All this stuff leading up to it, it weakens anything that the enemy could do. And then lastly, we receive by praying for the filling or the baptism in the Holy Spirit to fill those places of this temple that we want to steward. Filling up every place that just became empty and evicted, that room is now open. We don't want it just to be swept clean, we want it to be consumed by God. We want to learn the ways of God.
So, here are some signs you might need freedom. 1 of those is dark, seeing dark figures. Maybe it's in your home, maybe you're just constantly seeing it. For some it's hearing voices or even thoughts that are in third party. Meaning they'll actually say, you, your thoughts will you'll hear you, you, you, or you'll hear your name, name, name and it's these thoughts that are actually communicating with you.
And man, detach yourself from that. Recognize it and then we're going to do some ministry here. Night terrors and then uncontrollable urges towards sin. Chronic fear, heaviness, dread beyond normal human experience. Any loss of control including violent outburst or self harm.
Maybe partnering with witchcraft, new age, crystals or Reiki. Those are all things that are finding a power source outside of God and it's actually sorcery and demonic and God frowns upon that. Witchcraft actually means rebellion. And what's interesting is that when you look on TikTok, there's a huge trend called "Christian witch" or Christian witchcraft. And I know it's running rampant in America right now for Christians to be doing witchcraft because they are finding some sort of power to manipulate and control outside of God.
It's *rebellion* and there is repentance that's necessary. You have to recognize that you are not God and he is. And then partnered with relational witchcraft. Witchcraft, there's that side of it, but there's also the control and manipulation for self preservation and getting your way. And then unexplained sicknesses by doctors and there's plenty more but this is what I have listed here.
But if any of those things stick out to you, I want you to really lean in for the rest of this time because it's freedom day and freedom again is not a sign of shame or condemnation or embarrassment. Deliverance is a pursuit of health and holiness. So I believe people are gonna get set free today. And why don't we all just stand? I think this is the way we're needing to do it.
We're all just going to stand and I want you to posture your heart. You're maybe in here like, well that had nothing to do with me, been following Jesus, I know my identity, all that stuff. I want you to go in this approaching the Lord saying, if there be any wicked way in me, expose it because I want the most freedom I can have. That's the way that I want everyone in their heart posture to approach this moment. And if you're in here and you're like, woah, woah, like I just like that dude with the popping mic read my mail and I don't even know what to do with myself right now.
Some of you might even be feeling like really irritated with me right now. And that might be a sign you should lean in and listen. So, Mass, we're gonna do a full room right here. We're gonna receive just a "cleansing of the house". You guys alright?
We want the blood of Jesus. So Lord, right now I take authority over this room in the blood of Jesus, cover this room. Lord, we welcome angel armies inside of here. God, thank you for purifying with holy fire today. Purify us with holy fire.
Let us walk in deeper freedom and understanding that you are the highest authority. Lord, we welcome "heaven to invade earth". We welcome heaven in this house. We welcome heaven inside of us. Alright, declare this guys with me.
Declare Jesus is Lord over my life. He's Lord over my spirit. Jesus is Lord over my mind. Jesus is Lord over my body and imagination. Jesus is Lord over my bloodline.
Say this, say I repent.
I repent.
For partnering with any evil desires or practices. I repent of any evil thing I've partnered with.
I repent of any evil thing I've partnered
Now we're gonna jump into forgiveness and some of you might this might take a month more than this moment. But I want you to think of anyone who maybe has hurt you, who you have carried offense with, who you've even held childhood stuff against, I want you to really ask the Lord. Because guess what? You don't have the **power to forgive** some of those people, but Jesus has the power that can work in you. I once let a guy who he said he was raped by his dad for years through forgiveness and and he couldn't do it on his own.
He needed the help of the Holy Spirit. And then he began to forgive his dad and oh my gosh, how much freedom and deliverance happened. Dude who was once known for his anger was known for his joy. So you can say this, I'm gonna give you just a line, but Lord, give me the power to forgive. And I choose to forgive.
And forgive. And I'll take a moment and say their name and actually pray to the Lord. And I'll say this, I I choose to forgive them.
I choose to forgive them.
And I release them from my pain.
I release them from my pain.
Amen. Now we're getting to renouncing. I wanna remind you, renouncing is declaring to the enemy you're breaking ties. So we're gonna I'm gonna go through a line at a time and then demons are gonna start coming out. But I take authority that no 1 in here is gonna be embarrassed, that the devil will not try to embarrass anyone in this moment.
This is a freedom time. So you can say this, I renounce fear and anxiety.
Fear and anxiety.
I renounce self harm. I renounce suicide. I suicide. I renounce any word curses.
I renounce any word curses.
So now in Jesus name, I command you to come up and out right now. And even while you're standing here listening, say up and out in the name of Jesus, of any of those spirits. In the name of Jesus, we command those things, anxiety and fear to come out in Jesus name. Any effects of word curses be broken off in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord.
Holy fire, come. Holy fire, burn out these things. Now say with me, I *renounce* I renounce Addiction Addiction and *bondage* bondage I renounce lust and greed I renounce lust I renounce gluttony and laziness.
I renounce gluttony and laziness.
And we cast you out in the name of Jesus. Come up and out. Lose your hold right now. We bind you up, and we command you to leave in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus.
Thank you, Lord. Say this with me. I want you to also, when we are praying these things, I want you to kind of picture these things actually in effect. Don't just like repeat after me, not expecting anything, be expectant. Connect your faith with it.
Say I renounce lying.
I *renounce*
lying. Control. Control. Manipulation. Manipulation.
Preservation. Self preservation. And we cast you out right now in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord.
I pray right now in the name of Jesus, all those demonic spirits cease right now. Come up and out. We declare silence to any enemy right now. But Lord, we thank you for freedom in this house. Thank you.
We plead the blood of Jesus. Say this with me. Say we renounce abusing or effects of receiving abuse. And we renounce and "cut off soul ties". It's like we're cutting the strings of attachment of any demonic power.
Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. And we cast out any effects of abuse. We cast out any abusing spirit or controlling spirit in the name of Jesus and we command soul ties to be broken off by the perfect blood of Jesus. Say this with me, I renounce religion.
I *renounce*
religion. I renounce pride. I renounce pride. I renounce selfish ambition. I I renounce legalism.
I renounce legalism. I renounce perfectionism. Perfectionism. I come up and out right now in the name of Jesus. Come up and out right now in the name of Jesus.
Thank you, Lord. Come and fill them up, Thank you, Jesus. Whoo. Some of this, in this next part, take it in a way of saying, Lord, even if there was effects of this on my life from other people, I renounce it as well. Alright.
So say I renounce witchcraft. I renounce divination. I renounce divination. I renounce new age practices.
I renounce new age practices.
I *renounce *pagan gods**.
I renounce any pagan gods.
And we cast those out right now in the name of Jesus. Right now, we ask for holy fire come. Fill us up God, remove witchcraft, remove control, remove manipulation, remove any false voices that aren't the Holy Spirit but pretend to be. And right now also for healing, for taking care of healing as well. Lord, we thank you for healing that Jesus, you are the healer.
Say this, I *renounce* the deaf and dumb spirit.
I
*renounce infirmity*. I renounce infirmity. I renounce stress and diseases.
I renounce stress and diseases.
I *renounce* what anxiety to this as well. I
*renounce anxiety*.
Yeah, and we say in the name of Jesus, we bind those things and we command you to leave people right now. Every unexplained disease, leave. In Jesus name, anything that has a demonic force to it, break off right now in the name of Jesus. Can we put on that music? And Lord, we thank you right now for the Holy Spirit.
Repeat this with me. Holy Spirit, cleanse this temple. And "fill me to overflow". And fill me to overflow. Now we wait with expectancy.
Expectancy. I ask you Lord, would you do a deep work today? Jesus is cleansing his *temple* and he's promoting a zeal for the house of the Lord. To be clean of any den of thieves. What has been stealing, destroying my life from any activity of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, I thank you, you remove it so I can enjoy you even more. Pray this with me. Holy Spirit, fill this temple, every closet, renovate this house, renovate my life, We welcome you Holy Spirit. Come and fill me up. Fill every place.
Calm, calm, calm, calm. Let your glory reside in every person right now. Lord, I thank you for the "sound mind" coming. The mind of Christ is here. The the mind of Christ is here.
Lord, you give a sound mind. Lord, I thank you. Lord, we pray for the baptism in the Holy Spirit, not only internally, but outwardly, Lord, that you dwell upon us. Lord, that we walk out of here with power, in the name of Jesus. If I can have the altar team and even some of the elders come up front, that would be great.
If you're in this place and you actually receive some breakthrough, if you receive breakthrough, there's something shifted, there's something different and you're like, you know, I experienced some measure of breakthrough, I don't think I'm fully there yet. I want to invite you to belong on Tuesday. Belong is not deliverance ministry, it's a great commission ministry but we do have deliverance at Belong at times. So I want to invite you, come to Belong, receive more *freedom* because God wants to do a deep work. Doesn't He wanna leave you still chained up in the devil's hands.
How this whole world is under the sway of the evil 1, but those who are born of God are the ones who conquer. And so with that even if you're in here, you're like, yo, I have not given my life to Jesus but I definitely now need to. I want you to come up front and and talk to 1 of these. If you need more freedom, come up front, come get ministry from the altar team. And I want you to not leave here with fear, I want you to leave here understanding your confidence and your identity.
You have authority under the power of Jesus name. He is high, the highest king and he is everything. So we welcome you, come and receive ministry and yeah, can we just pray? Can we actually celebrate the Lord? Anybody receive freedom today?
Like the noticeable freedom. Like come on. Amen. Yes. And it's the "joy of the Lord" that is your strength.
Press into the joy of the Lord, you don't leave empty. You get in habits of getting with God to continue walking in the life of discipleship. In Jesus name, amen.
