Sermon — The Glory Of Living - Part 4

The Glory Of Living - Part 4

How can you surrender your life to God to fulfill the unique potential He created you for?

You were created with specific gifts and a purpose that only you can fulfill for His glory. Don't let fear or past mistakes keep you from stepping into the good works God prepared for you. Today is the time to surrender your life, die empty for His kingdom, and walk in the freedom He offers.

What is the definition of glory and how does environment affect potential?

Real Church. Thank you for tuning in to the Real Church podcast today. We are continuing the glory of living series with part 4. The title of part 4 is work. I'm excited about this 1, and I know it's gonna help you and encourage you to move forward in your relationship with God.

*God*'s got so much inside. He's placed so much inside of you that he wants to get out to show the world. This will help you. God bless. Enjoy.

But, just a little bit of a backdrop before we get into part 4. The glory of living, the definition of glory is is the character glory is the character and nature of a thing on display for all to see. The glory of *God* is who God is and what he does on display for all to see. Everything exists to manifest God's glory. God put his glory, piece of his glory in everything in order to manifest his glory.

Okay? So, the glory of a bird is to fly. And in order for a bird to fly, it must be in the right environment to fly. You take a bird out of the air, put it in a cage, you have restricted its glory, it can't fulfill its full purpose. Right?

You take a fish out of water, the environment necessary for a fish to exemplify, to put on display the full character and nature that God put in it to put on display is water. You take a fish out of water, then the fish is gonna flop around on land. It's gonna look kinda dumb. Right? Because it's meant to be in water swimming.

That is its full glory. In the same way, you are meant to display the glory of God. But, you're not just created by him, you're also created by him in his image in order to be a reflection of him. You are his "plan a". *Colossians-1:27*.

This is a review. I know I'm covering a lot of ground here in just this, but it's just a review. *Colossians-1:27* says, Christ in you, the hope of glory. God's hope of glorifying himself throughout the world is putting Christ in you. You are plan a.

And you are to be a reflection of him to show what is the glory of God is, who he is, and what he does on display for all to see. So people should look at your life and see who God is and what he does on display for all to see. And, the environment required for that to happen, the environment necessary for the glory that God displayed in you to be displayed through you is his presence. Amen? And, the last little review we got is, we learned that in His presence, we find our purpose.

In His presence, our purpose is revealed. And now, we're gonna be talking a little bit more about how God brings the purpose that he placed in us out through us. And, you know what the way he does that or what he does that through? He does it through work. Part 4, Glory of Living series is work.

Everybody say work. Work. Don't say, oh, man. Okay. So, If you went to a store, you bought a $2,000 laptop, a really good laptop these days my Windows guys might disagree with me.

But, a really good laptop these days, especially if you want to do a lot of design work and and other things, it's it's going cost at least $2,000. Would you go to a store, buy this $2,000 laptop, walk out of the store, and the first garbage can that you find, throw it in the garbage can? The first dumpster you find, throw it in the dumpster? No. That would be dumb.

Woah. Blasphemy. That would be dumb. Because if you did that, then all of the potential that the manufacturer programmed and designed to be in that computer to be displayed in its in its fullness would be prevent prevented from happening. Right?

How does premature termination destroy potential and what does it mean to "die empty"?

The potential wouldn't be able to be shown, to be displayed, because it's in the wrong environment. The computer is meant to be plugged into the wall to have power coursing through it in order to display the glory of the manufacturer. Right? You guys follow me so far? As a matter of fact, if you leave that laptop in the garbage can long enough, it's taken to the dump and it's destroyed.

Premature termination is the death of potential. And, the death of potential is the destruction of glory. You guys follow me? Premature termination is the death of potential. The death of potential is the **destruction of glory**.

Every day, thousands and thousands of human beings are thrown in the trash. Over 18000000 abortions have happened in 2021 alone around the world. 18000000. Each and every 1 of them designed by *God* with his character and nature inside of them. At conception, had everything that they needed in order to grow up and display the glory that God had put inside of them.

All they needed was the right environment, nourishment, and time for growth. Untold amounts of potential. Who knows what they would have accomplished? Thrown away, really, due to choice, due to selfishness. That's tough.

Premature termination is the death of potential, and the death of potential is destruction of glory. Let me ask you another question. What do you think the wealthiest place in the world is? Graveyard. New York.

Read my notes. A lot of people would think and say it's the diamond mines of South Africa, or the oil fields of Saudi Arabia, maybe Washington DC, maybe the the stock market, or or you name it, somebody some billionaire's bank account. That's not the wealthiest place in the world. The wealthiest place in the world, as my Zimbabwean friend said, is the graveyard. Cause every day, thousands and thousands of people die never having realized their "full potential".

And in never having realized their full potential, the premature termination is the death of potential, and the death of potential is destruction of glory. Who knows all of the positive contributions they could have made to human society? God's purposes, an end to God's purposes in the world. As long as you are alive, and you guys are still alive. Right?

Yep. Okay. Good. Praise the Lord. As long as you are alive, the possibility exists for you to reach your full potential.

*God* has given you gifts, talents, and abilities, and he wants you to use them for his glory and for the good of people. You're still here. God wants to redeem the time. He wants to resurrect your life and shift it. You are still here.

There is still time for your potential to be used for his glory. Amen? *Ephesians-2:10*. I don't know if I put that 1 as the first verse. I didn't.

Nope. Ephesians-2:10. If not, I'll read it. That's my bad. Says, for we are God's handiwork created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

You are all prepared in advance for the works that he has planned for you. You have a purpose, and that purpose matters. You are his handiwork. And it says, prepared in advance for us to do. Another version says, for the works that you should do.

Should do. Not that you would do them, but that you should. The question is, are we going to do what he's called us to do? We have free choice. We have free will.

Why do believers struggle with self-worth and what does God promise in exile?

We push forward to pour out all that God has put in us in unselfish service to the world. If we fully express ourselves in this life as God desires, we will not take any unfulfilled potential with us to the grave. Everyone say, die empty. Die empty. Come on.

Let's let's say it again. Die empty. Die empty. Good. Your goal should be to die empty, all that you are, all of your lives having been completely and totally poured out.

*Philippians-2:17*. Paul got it. He said, but even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. It's a joy to live out what you're destined to do. And what you're destined to do is not for you.

It's for others. It's to show the world around you God's glory and God's goodness through you and through your life. Glory is put in you at birth and your role is exposing all of it in your lifetime for the world to see. Die empty. The sad thing is, a lot of people and even a lot of believers, a lot of Christians simply don't believe that they have anything to offer.

The heart of the matter is, they don't believe that they could really be used by God. Why? Maybe it's bad theology, bad teaching, ignorance, not knowing and not understanding their value, listening to the noise of what everybody else said about them. Whatever it is, some lie has been swallowed to think that they're not valued, so they perceive themselves as not having any potential. God doesn't want you to view yourself that way.

He wants you to view yourself the way that he sees you, through his eyes. You are created in his image with a purpose. And if you're still alive, then that purpose is still possible. You're still here. Once again, God wants to redeem your life and expose all of his glory that he designed for you to expose through you and through your life.

You were created for this. Amen? Amen. Alright. May, that's about 2600 years ago.

Israel area, South the South the Judah Kingdom was taken off into *exile* by the Babylonians. The temple was destroyed. They had found themselves in their rock I mean, "rock bottom", you know, the lowest of the low. In their mindset, in their eyes, all of the potential that they once had as a nation is completely kaput, it's gone. Through their perspective, that's what it looked like, but that was not God's perspective of them.

*God* said something different in their rock bottom. Let's go to *Jeremiah-29:10* through 14. God, this is what the Lord says. When 70 years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place, for I know the plans I have for you. So, that's the backdrop of this verse that everybody quotes.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you, not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord.

I will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations in places where I have banished you, declares the Lord, and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile. These people were carried off into exile because of their own dumb decisions. They had made mistakes, and they were being judged for their mistakes. But yet, even in their rock bottom, even in the midst of their mess, *God* spoke to them and said, hey, I still have plans for you.

You're still here, and I have a future for you. That's the principle of who God is, and that's how he sees you as well. No matter what you've done, no matter where you come from, no matter what you look like, no matter what you think, no matter how useless you think you are, God has a plan and he has a purpose for you. And he wants to prosper you. He wants you to experience his goodness.

How does work function as worship and obedience in God's presence?

Don't get all scared because I said God wants to prosper you. God God loves you. You're his child. You're his kid. Right?

What is your responsibility in that? Your responsibility is to seek him, to hear him when he speaks, to listen, to believe him, to trust him, and to obey him. Seek him, believe him, trust him, obey him. Right? So, you seek him, you seek his presence, you get in his presence, and he reveals your purpose.

Well, you believe what he says about you, instead of looking at yourself from your own the perspective that you have, I'm worthless, I'm I'm useless, I can't do that, I can't do this, I can't do that. You see what he says about you. Wait, you're forgiven, you're loved, you're the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. You're my son, you're my daughter. It takes faith to believe that, then we walk forward in obedience to what he told us to do.

Now, that's the piece that a lot of people falter at, is the obedience to what he told us to do. Don't you understand that God is going to tell you to do things because he he wants to lead you in his path and his will, and his will is to expose the full glory that he put inside of you? Did you catch that? His will is to bring out all of the potential that he placed in you at conception. So, when he tells you to do things, he's not just leading you in a circle over here and you're forgotten about.

No, he's taking you through a process in order to develop you so that all the potential in you can come out for the world to see His goodness and His glory through you. Would you be willing to trust and obey? You guys follow me? So how does God bring out that potential that he placed in you? How does God reveal himself through you?

The avenue that God created to pull out the purpose that He placed in you is work. *Genesis-2:15*. The Lord God took the man, put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. Remember, the Garden of Eden is the place of unbroken presence with God. We were created for unbroken presence with God.

*God placed mankind in his presence*, and then he said, work it. Work this place. Everybody say, work. Work. Good.

You guys are still alive. Adam discovered his purpose in God's presence, and your purpose is discovered in his presence, and a big part of your purpose is work. The word for work here is the word abad, a b a d. It's the way that we transliterate it. Hebrew words got some Semitic roots.

It means to work, to make, to do. It also means to obey, to worship, to serve. So, the biblical concept of work involves doing out of obedience as worship and service. Amen? Amen.

So, I got some points here. In God's presence, God commissioned Adam to cultivate the place where he was put, and to do things to help make the place where he was put flourish. So point number 1 is cultivate the place where you're put. Where where has God put you? And are you using your God given creativity to make the place where you were put flourish?

Your home, your job, and your church. How are you using your God given creativity to make the place where you were put, your home, your job, and your church flourish to work that place. Because that place, your home, your job, and your church will never be all that it's created to be without all that God's put in you being displayed to its full extent in that place. At your home, at your job, in your church. Wait a second.

How does recognizing God's presence transform your work environment?

That means you can't complain about your job anymore. Because **"God put you there"** as the answers to the problem at your job. His presence is in you, and he placed you there in order to work it, and to cultivate it, and help it to flourish. So, instead of complaining about it, realize that you're part of the answer to the problems there. What if you used all of your God given creativity in that place to be faithful where you are?

My Bible says, when you're faithful with a little, God will give you more. What if you helped that place to flourish, even if it's an evil environment? Your place there to be the light in the midst of the darkness. What if you being there instead of complaining about all the stuff that's going on there, what if you shine the light of Jesus instead of leaving the presence of God at the door? You recognize that his presence was in you, and you live that out with a cognizant understanding that his presence is around you constantly, and you transform your work environment so that it flourishes even more because you were there.

But you don't know what's really this and there, that. Man, that's awesome. What an even more opportune even bigger opportunity for you to show Jesus to that place. Praise the Lord. That's great.

The darker you tell me it is, the brighter you're gonna shine, man. Wow. My Bible says, rejoice in all things, even in the midst of that. But they come against me when I share Jesus. Well, man, they came against Jesus too.

They killed him. Man, just share Jesus all the more by the way that you serve. Amen? Amen. Or, old me.

The shoe fits, kick it off and live for Jesus at your job. Amen? Let's do it together. Of course, I get this job and I get to live for yeah. Sorry.

Alright. Adam's work Adam's work was his service to God. We get that from the word abad. You know, the the word for work, it also means service. That's why Paul wrote in Colossians-3:23-24.

Let's go there real quick. I don't know if I put that up or not. *Colossians-3:23-24*. It says, whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord, not for human masters. Since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as as a reward.

Listen to this sentence. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Wow. So the way that you serve at your job is the way that you're serving Jesus. That's big.

What if we shifted our perspective in just that right there? Your boss would look at you differently because you begin to look at him differently. You know what? The way that I'm gonna serve you don't even say it. Just do it.

The way but in your mind, the way that I'm serving, I'm serving you as if I'm serving Jesus. And the way that I'm serving you, you're gonna see it, and you're it's gonna cause you to think of Jesus. It's gonna cause you to be drawn into relationship with Jesus because that's my calling. That's your calling. That's the way that you're designed to work as worship, which brings me into 0.3.

When Adam worked, he was obeying God. And this, and in this, he experienced worship. In the Garden of Eden, Adam's work was his worship. God created you to worship through work. Think about *Romans-12:1* and 2.

What does Scripture say about working as an act of worship and obedience?

It talks about presenting my body as a living sacrifice. This is my true and proper worship. Right? So at work, I'm presenting all that I am, my creativity, the way that I serve, the way that I obey, the way that I help, the way that I pour out myself. I'm I'm I'm giving all that I am as a living sacrifice serving Jesus.

This is my act of worship. Your "work is worship". And where you worship, his presence fills. And where his presence fills, culture shifts. Don't leave God at the door anymore.

He wants to use the way that you work to shift in environments. Amen? Work is self expression. Man is the image of God created to represent his glory to the world. Your work is God's way of expressing and exposing his glory and nature through you to the world.

I want you to listen to this. Work is not a product of the fall. Work is not a product meaning, is not a product of sin. Hating work is. You were created to enjoy work.

You were created to find your purpose in his presence. And then as you do that purpose, your fulfillment comes through that. Work is 1 of the ways God created you to worship. You can enjoy work. You are meant to enjoy work.

Enjoying work comes when you work from the place of his presence. Colossians-1:29 says, to this end, I strenuously contend the Greek word there is work. I to this end, I strenuously work with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me. So, my working out comes from what he worked in. That means that if you if you leave his presence at the door when you walk into work, you're going to be working from frustration instead of working from his presence.

Understand that he's with you. Amen? So let me go here too. To not work is sin. *James-4:17*, he who knows the good he should do and doesn't do it is sin.

Let's let's go a little deeper. 2 Thessalonians-3. I feel some people sitting on the edge of their seats on this 1. *2 Thessalonians-3:10*, for even when we were with you, we gave you this rule, the 1 who is unwilling to work shall not eat. We hear that some of you are idle and disruptive.

They are not busy. They are busybodies. Such people, we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the food they eat. As for you, brothers and sisters, never tire of doing what is good. Take special note of anyone is is that me?

Yeah. Your cable's going bad. My cable's going bad? Yeah. Uh-oh.

Should I should I hold a thing? Probably. Alright. Next next next next pop. I'm a I'm a grab the microphone.

Give her 1 more chance. And as for you brothers and sisters, never tired of doing what is good. Verse 14, take special note of anyone who does not obey instruction in this letter, the instruction in this letter. Do not associate with them in order that they may feel ashamed. This is crazy.

Verse 15, yet do not regard them as an enemy, but warn them as you would a fellow believer. That means we're supposed to love fellow believers enough to warn them when they're doing something that's disruptive to them and not working as disruptive because it's part of our calling. That's a big deal. Now, some of you might be like, wait a second, hold on. I I worked my whole life.

How does the Parable of the Talents illustrate faithfulness in God-given abilities?

I'm retired. I'm, you know, 65 years old. That's great. You did that. Guess what?

You're not done. That doesn't mean you have to go to the typical 9 to 5 job. That just means God still has purposes in you that he wants to expose for his kingdom. Amen. Man, Keith, sitting where pastor Alex is sitting.

Keith was sitting in here and sharing about triathlons and and Ironman, and doing the Ironman, and all kinds of stuff that he's doing. And some people would see that as recreation. It's not his normal job. He has another job. But that is part of the work that God put in him to expose the glory that God had placed in him, or God called him to to expose the glory that God placed in him.

Amen? There's a lot of different avenues that we are supposed to do in order to reveal what God put in us. And, it might shift from season to season, but if you're alive, you still have purpose, and God wants to reveal all of that purpose to the world around you. And, you find that purpose in his presence. Don't stop.

Die empty. Die empty. You know why work is such a big deal? Because God uses work to get the glory that he put in you out on display. He created you to find satisfaction in the work that he called you to.

And it's important to him. *Matthew-25*. We'll close with this parable. This is Jesus speaking. I can get the band to come up as well.

That'd be great. We're gonna start in verse 14. It says, again, it was like a man going on a journey who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. He's talking about the kingdom. To 1 he gave 5 bags of gold, to another 2 bags, and to another 1 bag, each according to his ability.

Everybody say, according to his ability. According his ability. Man, we have different abilities, you and I. And praise the Lord. And I there's some things that I'm good at, and there's some things that I'm not, and that's what I need you for, man.

I am not good at fixing cars. I'm just not. I'm I'm there's a lot of things Greg's back there laughing. He knows it. There's a lot of things that I'm not good at.

That's why the body of Christ needs 1 another. According to the grace, the ability that God's given you. Man, if if you do what God's called you to do with the ability God's given you, and I do what God's called to me me to do with the ability God given has given me, and we partner together in unity in 1 body of Christ, think of how many more people we can reach with his goodness. Amen? Okay.

Then he went on his journey. Verse 16, the man who had received 5 bags of gold with it went at once and put his money to work and gained 5 bags more. So also, the 1 with 2 bags of gold gained 2 more. But the man who had received 1 bag went off, dug a hole in the ground, hid his master's money. After a long time, the master of those servants returned and settled the accounts with them.

The man who had received 5 bags of gold brought the other 5. Master, he said, you entrusted me with 5 bags of gold. See, I've gained 5 more. His master replied, "well done", good and faithful servant. You have been faithful with a few things.

I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share in my master's happiness. Principle, *faithful* with a little, *God* gives you more. That's awesome. I wanna hear well done.

Why does fear hinder work and how does God's love redeem lost time?

Verse 22, the man with 2 bags of gold also came. Master, he said, you entrusted me with 2 bags of gold. See, I've gained 2 more. His master replied, well done, good and faithful servant. You've been faithful with a few things.

I will put you in charge of many. Come and share in your master's happiness. Then the man who received 1 bag of gold came. Master, he said, I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. So I was afraid.

Everybody say afraid. Afraid. I want you to see that. And went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here's what belongs to you.

His master replied, you **wicked lazy servant**. So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I've not scattered. Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned, I would have received it back with interest. So take the bag of gold from him, give it to the 1 who has 10. For whoever has will be given more and they will have an abundance.

Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. And throw that worthless servant outside into the darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. That's tough. The wicked and lazy servant was afraid. The Bible says in 1 John-4, there's no fear in love.

Perfect *love casts out fear* because fear has to do with punishment. So the wicked and lazy servant was afraid of punishment because he didn't believe that his master was good. There's a lot of people that approach God the same way, and they live their life in fear and timid, not willing to take the steps that God is asking them to take because at the root of it, they don't believe that the master loves them. The root of it, don't believe. When you receive his love, fear goes away.

*God has not given you the spirit of insecurity*. Insecurity is fear. But of love, of power, and of a sound mind. Bible calls them wicked and lazy. God has placed glory in you so that you can be socially and morally valuable to the world around you by exposing his purpose and his glory through your life.

And what it takes is you believing that you're loved. The person that doesn't do that, what they're saying is, I don't believe I am who you say I am. I don't believe that you're that good, so I'm gonna live in fear and protect myself. That's not what you're called to do. *God loves* you.

He cares for you. That's why he sent his son to die in your place, so you wouldn't have to pay for your sin and protect yourself. The heavenly father wants to be your protector, and he wants to lead you forward so you can follow him in faith and expose everything that God put in you for the world to see for the rest of your life. He cares for you and maybe you're that person that's been living by fear. It's time to realize that you are loved and he wants to redeem you.

He wants to take all of the lost time even if it's been 75 years. He wants to take all of the lost time and he wants to redeem it and expose your full purpose in the time that you have left. He's a good God. He's an all powerful God and he can do it. Are you willing to trust him?

What is laying dormant in you that God wants to get out into the world?

Just a quick testimony. I've let something lay dormant in me for 35 well, not 35 years, actually for 25 years because I stopped playing when I was 10. I started playing the piano when I was 7 years old. And going through this message, and the messages before, *God* began to stir that desire that I just excused in me. And then he gave me a piano for my birthday about a week and a half ago.

So now every time I walk into my office, I I have to play. Why? Because God put stuff in me that he wants to get out, but there's a process of nourishment being in his environment that it takes in order for that to mature. What is laying dormant in you that God wants to get out into the world? I wanna ask everybody just if you would take a moment, just close your eyes and bow your heads for a moment.

Maybe there's people in here that you don't realize, you never realized before that God loves you, and everything inside of you is screaming out to believe it. You feel your heart beating out of your chest right now because you realize for the first time that that you semi believe what this guy on the stage is saying, that "God actually loves me" and he wants a relationship with me. He does. God loves you and he wants a relationship with you. He created you for this.

He created you to know him. He cares for you and he wants to make you new. He wants you to experience his joy and his peace and his purpose. You're here for a reason. You're here for this reason.

If you would say right now that you've never had a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, you've never been born again, but you know beyond a shadow of a doubt, now is the time I want to know Jesus. If that's you, would you "raise your hand" up high? Right now. Raise your hand up. If you if you want to know Jesus, you want to receive a **relationship with God** of the universe.

Come on. Who is it? Don't keep that hand down. Who wants to know him? *God loves* you.

He cares for you. Let me ask a second question. Who in here would say, there's been areas of my life that come to mind that I've hidden in fear. But I wanna stop today. You already know Jesus, but there's areas of your life that you've hidden in fear, and you wanna walk forward in faith knowing that he loves you.

If that's you, would you raise your hand? Come on. Hands all over the building. Raise it up high. There's something about a physical action, physical step.

Praise the Lord. I wanna ask you to take 1 more step if that was you. I want you to stand up. I wanna pray for you. You raised your hand, you say, hey, there's areas of my life that I've been held back in because of fear and insecurity, and I'm tired of that.

I wanna walk in his glory. I wanna pray for you. I ask you to stand. It's just simply a a confessing. The Bible says, confess your faults 1 to another and pray for each other so you may be healed.

This is an an act of confessing. It's what it is. Anybody else wants to stand, you can stand. Praise the Lord. I want you just to lift your hands to the to the to the king, king of kings.

Lifting your hands as a sign of surrender. *Father God*, I pray for everybody standing right now and everybody everybody watching watching online. Online. *Lord* God, I pray for freedom. Lord, I pray that they would be baptized in your *love* in that area of their life that they would recognize beyond a shadow of a doubt that you love them, that you care for them, that that area of their life is not over.

How does God delight in showing mercy instead of judgment for your past?

You still have a purpose and a plan for them and you want to bring it out to the fullest extent. Father, I pray freedom. In the name of Jesus, freedom. Spirit of fear, you must go. Holy Spirit, I ask you just to give them a big old hug.

I ask you to speak to them right now. Tell them you love them. I ask you to speak to them right now. Lord, give them dreams. Give them visions.

Give them excitement about what you're going to do. Lord God, as they step forward boldly in the areas that you've called them to step forward. Boldly taken what other people would call risk, but Lord, what you have spoken over them because they're secure in your love and they no longer have to care about what other people think or have fear of failure anymore. Because they know, Lord every time they fall they're righteous in your sight because of the blood of Jesus. They can get back up and keep moving forward until they finish, until they finish the race.

Thank you Jesus. Thank you father. I praise you. And I pray for everybody that's sitting that didn't stand, that knew they needed to. I pray the same grace, the same mercy.

I wanna invite everybody to stand real quick. I wanna tell you something. We're gonna worship the king to close out. And then Moriah is gonna come back up. Maybe you heard some tough stuff today and you're like, woah, that was me.

I got good news. The Bible says that he delights in showing mercy. Mercy. You know why? Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Yes. *God* doesn't want to judge you for your past. He will if you don't receive Jesus. He's already judged Jesus for your past. Receive Jesus and be born again.

Receive what Jesus has done in that area and be free. He delights in showing mercy. He doesn't want to give you what you deserve. He wants to give you grace what you don't deserve and empower you to move forward despite what you've done. That's how much he loves you.
