The Jesus Year

How will you surrender your life to God's call for revival and evangelism?

You are invited to join this movement of surrender by dedicating time to prayer and the Word. Consider how God might be calling you to support this Jesus Year mission through your resources or your presence. Let this be the season where you prioritize the secret place to fuel your impact on your community.

How did the church leadership organize the Jesus Year mission trip?

*Amen*. Praise the Lord. Yeah. You guys can stay up here. Daniel, will you come up as well?

Can we get about 4 bottles of water as we get started? Daniel, you're going sit right over here, buddy. Jerry, you've a mic under there. Would you hand that to Daniel?

So I appreciate y'all putting this chair down.

See? God is about excellence.

Well, so you you can adjust the height on your own. There's a little "little doohickey". It's what we call them in Louisiana. A little doohickey. Alright.

So those of you that do not know, we have sent Jerry, Heidi, and Daniel. Jerry and Heidi are 2 elders in our church. They've been with me for over 5 years. Since the first day, the Sunday before we launched actually, so over 5 and a half years. Thank you, sir.

And Daniel gave his life to Jesus in January. And *God* has done a radical work in his life. Ended up going with me to Brazil end of last summer. And God really anchored a call on his life, I believe, there. Maybe he was already working in him.

We'll let him speak to that. And then, anyway, God opened the door through a partnership we have with 30 third Company. It's a nonprofit that's all about prayer, evangelism, and discipleship. And they equip churches throughout the world to to be effective in that. They started this thing called the Jesus Year.

It started really in Russia. In in Russia, people were devote their lives for a full year, the Jesus year, to prayer, evangelism, and discipleship. And there's this 1 old lady in, like, her eighties that did it for 10 years straight and won, like, 9,000 people to Jesus and discipled many of them. And so God put it on the leadership of 30 Third's Heart to do a Jesus year here in in The United States. And we we actually ended up sending Jerry, Heidi.

Heidi quit her job as a banker of how many years?

20 at this bank.

20 years at this bank in order to 35 years in banking in order to surrender her life, to develop to devote a year of her life to prayer, evangelism, discipleship, and in discipleship with her husband. Daniel ended up answering the call of God on his life to go to. And we sent them. They went, moved there January. They've been there for 3 and a half months or so.

What were the spiritual outcomes and living arrangements during the Fort Worth mission?

Would you pull up that first picture? You see that? Yeah. 791 people born again in 3 months. Yeah.

So so they're in Fort Worth, Texas. They're there for 6 months, and then they're gonna come they're gonna come back for the last half of the Jesus year and do the exact same thing here with our body for 6 months in Clearwater, Florida. Would you would you go ahead and play that that video for us so we can have an understanding?

And it was just such a beautiful moment, and this is just the evidence of God saying I've got 1. It was the last place last she was the last person that we talked to that day. He had 1, but he was calling back to his heart. And so, yes, she is getting baptized.

Pretty amazing. Right? So they live a life of full time getting together with a group of how many others is it? 13. 13?

So 13. 14.

**"In 1 house"**.

In 1 house. Given their lives, praying, going out, sharing the gospel. But not just that. They don't just pray a prayer with them. They get their numbers.

They invite them back. They begin discipleship. They get them plugged in to the local church, which is an amazing thing. So, Jerry, why don't you start, my brother? Why what led up to this?

What I mean, how how did you choose to do this Jesus year thing, bro?

Well, just gonna jump back. It started under a pecan tree in South Georgia. Meese. It's just a quick, you know, it started there. I submitted to the Lord.

He put me there and he says now, the first time I heard the audible voice of the Lord, it was Hebrews-11:8. I looked behind me and I went and read it and he has has faith as Abraham not knowing what you're gonna do or where you're gonna go. Just be ready when I call. And so, he chose he told me to go disciple men, and he set me under this tree for 7 months. And it's been a process from, you know, South Carolina to Orlando.

We get here. I get connected with pastor David. And it was it was the *Lord* pulling what he put in out. It's you know, in Jeremiah-29:11, he says he has a purpose and plan for our lives. It's not for me, it's for his glory.

And it says, when I get that love that he has for me, you know, it's not the love that I have for him, but it's the love that he has for me. When I get that love, when I see myself as he sees me, he will let you go. And he continued to pull out what I was holding on to. And this man right here pulled a lot. And, you know, God took me to Pakistan where I met Chris Donald, the 30 third company.

How did Jerry and Heidi respond to the call to relocate for evangelism?

Second year went again, and we first started going and man, the Holy Spirit just wouldn't I felt like I couldn't even operate. Lord, I wanted to cry sometime. Lord, why am I even here? But it was at the right time that the Lord wanted to show me was not about me, it was about him. So at that time, I heard about this 30 third 30 third year, Chris Donald says, hey, man, how would you like to evangelize every day with me?

Sure. You know, sounds great. But that would mean a relocation, and I gotta tell my wife first. Mhmm. Then I go to Iraq, and he shows me the video.

And I look at it, and I'm like, man, this is all about me. I said, but of course, I have to ask my wife. I didn't even bite on it. We get home, David sends us the same video and I'm like, man, it's about me, but are you saying that both of us? And he said, yeah, if it's Jesus.

And I kept waiting for Heidi. Heidi, did you see the video? What do you think? And she's looking at me, oh, it's for you, but it's not for me. And so, I was going And, man, that's how I got here, you know, just joining in with the Lord, and she participated with it.

And it's been such a **miraculous supernatural journey**.

You know, so so Heidi, why don't you jump in?

Can I ask a question first?

Of course.

Can we turn the lights on so I can see the people? Is that a bad thing?

No. Would would

So we can see our friends?

You can.

I just don't I wanna I wanna feel like we're talking to family, you know? Yep. Here you are.

How did the peace of God confirm the decision to join Jesus Here despite initial fear?

Oh my

goodness. **Praise the lamb**. You guys are looking good today. What do you want me to say?

Join in with what he was saying about how why choose Jesus here and a little bit about that process.

Why I chose Jesus here? Yeah. I saw the video, like Jerry said, of course. Those of you that know us know that my version is completely different than his, but it doesn't matter because it all has the same end result. But when I saw the video, everything in me was wrecked but I really I didn't and I didn't know what that was and it terrified me because I'm not an evangelist.

And like that would be the last thing I would wanna do, because it's just way too uncomfortable.

It's just

not me. So I told Jerry that that we talked about it, and I told him I watched the video, and he said, do you think? And I'm like, it's okay. And I went in the room and he he's back there working out. And then I went and sat on the couch and I cried because I was like trying to play it off with him and then I go back and then I'm like, I don't know what it means and I got all these emotions and I don't know what's going on.

But I asked God and I really believe that the Lord told me that he was to go and I had such a peace that I was supposed to stay home and he was gonna go and I was okay with that. Like, you know when it's God and God speaks to you, I'm like, God, don't know how that's gonna work, I don't know what's gonna happen. But I had a peace like I've never experienced that I was gonna stay and I told pastor David and I thought we talked to Mariah and Gabe about it and David's like, I think you're supposed to go and Gabe and Mariah are like, look at all a b c d e m g, God's already done and I'm just like, Nahum, I'm just gonna be led by God's peace and and that's you know, what you should do. And then Chris came here for an evangelist event 1 weekend and just being in the presence and knowing that there was something about the heart of God that that would that they have an anointing for that that drew me and I cried the whole time he was here. Jerry wasn't even here that weekend.

And then the whole thing was over and Chris was asking me, I'm like, no, you know, I just really have a peace. I'm sorry, Chris, I'm not going. I just have a peace about staying here. And I don't wanna do something that I'm not supposed to do. If God tells me to do it, I wanna do it.

But if he doesn't, then I'm not. I'm gonna honor that. Because he knows what's best. His plan is always the best. And so I went home and I remember just worshiping because I didn't wanna get out of the presence of God because it was so good that weekend.

And Jerry was still gone and I put on worship and I was just worshiping and I literally, I've heard people say this, but I felt such a presence and I just said, what is that? God, what is that? And I went, it's Jesus. Jesus, it's you. And I just, I can't even explain it to you.

I hope if you haven't experienced the presence of God like that, pray for it, ask him to show you, but I experienced his presence, hit the floor and I heard you're going to Jesus here, and I immediately got excited. And I called Jerry and I called pastor David and Courtney, and so, yeah, that's how I got there.

What specific moment in Walmart led to the conversion of Omar through the Holy Spirit's guidance?

I I love it. Let let's let's shift gears for just a second. Daniel, I want you to share your favorite testimony of what has happened since you've been at Jesus year. Yeah.

Well, first off, there's been so many testimonies. It's hard to it's hard to choose, like, just 1 thing that that *God* has has done there. But there there was 1 that just really like like stuck out to me when I was praying about, you know, what God wanted me to share here. And there was this 1 moment where we were in Walmart, I believe it was Walmart. Walmart or Target.

And we we me and and my friend, Caden, who's part of Jesus here too, we were basically just walking around. We had just got there, and we were just discussing some plans for a a bible study that we had been hosting together. And all of a sudden, it was just like the Holy Spirit just stopped us and and paused us, and we were like, alright. I feel like we're we're supposed to stop what we're doing and and and go look for the 1. So we prayed.

We said, God, whoever this person is, like, show us the 1 right now. And and as soon as we pray that, we see this guy walking into the I think it was a movie aisle or the game aisle or something like that. Young guy, probably maybe a few years older than me. His name is Omar. And I see him I see him walking.

We're like, alright. This is definitely the guy. We go up to him, and we just say, hey, man. We saw you over here, and it was just on our heart to come and tell you that Jesus loves you so much. And and right at that moment, he he just broke down and he started to cry, and and I said, what are you what are you feeling right now?

And he said, he says, it's really crazy that you you came up and and you told me this because, he said, 2 of my best friends just died, and he says, I'm going through a really hard time right now, and and I don't really know what to do. And so we take we take a moment to share the gospel with him. I think we shared John-3 and what it means to be ""born again"". And and he was ready to be born again there, so he gave his life to Jesus. There he he prayed to start a relationship with God.

And as as he was praying that, I heard the name Jackson in my head, and I also saw vision of a truck in my head. And while we're out, we get a lot of words of knowledge from people, so I just asked him about it. I asked him about the name Jackson, and he said, yeah, that was 1 of my friends who passed away. Then I asked him about I said, hey, this is really random, but I just saw a truck. And he said, my other friend got killed by a truck.

He got hit by a truck and died. And so not only did God send 2 people to where he was and and meet him where he was at in a in a tough time. But he also we explained to him like, hey, God gave us this. He showed us this so he could confirm to you that he sees your situation. He he, like, he loves you and he cares about you.

And and, I mean, it was it was amazing. So he's actually his name is Omar, and we're actually he's coming to a bible study next Tuesday, and he's gonna he's gonna start getting discipled.

How many disciples have been reached in recent months and what does Matthew-28 command regarding this?

So So, it's pretty so how long ago was this with Omar?

This was about 4 weeks ago, probably. Yeah.

Now, Daniel, just, it's probably gonna be a guess, but an estimate of how many people that you have gotten to personally walk through being born again with in your in your daily life out there?

Yeah. I I was kinda counting. I have a, like, a discipleship list. Anyone who does belong here, you probably know what that is. Like, we have a we keep a list of everyone and their numbers, and we text them.

I think there's been it's been about 70 or 80, I'm sure.

In the last 3 months? Yeah. 3 and a half months. That's amazing. So you're also meeting consistently with with how many of those guys?

I'm meeting with about 12 of them right now.

So about 12 of them. You're weekly meeting with them. Yeah. And so *Matthew-28, Jesus commands us to make disciples*. He doesn't just command the evangelists to make disciples.

He commands disciples to make disciples. You wanna grow in your relationship with Jesus? You start being intentional in your life to sacrifice aspects of your time to do what He called you to do. Man, I'm telling you, it's amazing. Amen?

What changes in spiritual sensitivity and surrender have occurred since joining the community?

Last question. Probably not the last question on the day for you, but tell me, what has been the change in your life, bro?

Probably me telling him to do dishes all the time.

The biggest change or just

Just describe some of the change in your life.

There's there's been a lot. I mean, I I feel like like pastor David said, I I came to know the Lord back in January. So I don't know. It's been what? 15 months or 16 months, something like that.

But I I actually feel like I've grown more in that this 3 month, 4 month period than I have in an entire year before that. Like and I think it was just being in the presence of God pretty much all the time. I mean, we're there's never a time where we're not like doing something that involves that involves God. My my faith has has increased a lot. My relationship with God has has grown extraordinarily.

And it's just it's been life changing. And I I I think 1 thing that I've really learned is is how important it is to be "sensitive to the Holy Spirit". Like, no matter where you are can I can I share 1 more testimony? Yeah.

We'll talk about being sensitive to the Holy *Spirit* requires surrender. Right? Yeah. And I'm sure Mhmm. Greater levels of surrender Yeah.

Has caused that sensitivity.

How does developing sensitivity in the secret place enable believers to hear God's voice amidst noise?

Yeah. So it it all starts in the secret place. Like, you have to you have to learn to hear the voice of God in the secret place in in your in your time alone with God, know, whatever part of that day that is for you. If you're gonna hear him out there when you're when there's all kinds of noise and things going on, it's like like, for example, when we're in Walmart, if we were not sensitive to the voice of God to stop us in that moment, that guy probably would have walked right past us, and we never would have got to speak with him.

And that's developed Yeah. In that quiet place.

It's it's all developed in the secret place with Perfect. Yeah.

Perfect. Heidi, I know there's all been a lot on your heart. Just share what's on your heart.

He always does that. So I'm probably gonna get up from this too. 1 of the things, so not being being an evangelist, I think that every every single number of every single life that was born again was developed in surrender. It was developed in giving up what I want and doing what he wants. And so I didn't wanna go out because it made me uncomfortable.

That's about me. I want what he wants over what I want. So I think in the midst of spending time with the Lord, we we I spend time we spend time with God until we encounter God. We don't get a book out and read a devotional. We spend time with God until we encounter God because he's worth it.

Because what he's done is worth it. And if you will press in, if you will **lay down your desires** and what you want, you will figure out who you are. I thought I lived before I ever went, and I realized I have so much living. I had no idea the depth of what God had for me and he has for each and every 1 of us that are called his and it's not to sit in a seat on Sunday morning. It is to go out so so it's like we're standing up here and we're talking about it but this is who Jesus is.

This is who Jesus is right among and in his people saying, hey man, Jesus loves you. Jesus loves you man and he has a plan for your life. He has called you and he has chosen you. Can I tell you about Jesus? Can I tell you about Jesus who will save your life?

This is a matter of life and death. This isn't a matter it's not a matter of me being uncomfortable. This what we're doing here isn't for us. It's not for us. It's saying, you know what?

I'm willing to be rejected by you because Jesus loves you. Jesus wants you to be free. If you if you are if you have Jesus in you, if you have the Holy Spirit in you, you are not bound by addiction. You are not bound by depression. You are not bound by sickness.

We are free from every 1 of those. And if you have it, you need a revelation in whatever area that is that you're not getting freedom in because Jesus loves you. And there is a slew of people in Clearwater and in this nation that need to know you were created for a relationship with God and he cares about you and he desperately desperately loves you. Can I share him with you? He wants you.

This is your moment. This is your time. But all that comes from getting in that place of saying, Lord, I surrender. Even your plans or words that God has given you, things that are good, anything that you take ownership of, put it on the altar. He gives you a word, you say, yes, Lord, you pray, put it back on the altar because everything belongs to him.

You can have it. You were created for it. I would say you probably don't even know who you are. I am living. I'm in the place now where when God rebukes me I I know I said before I left here, I'm like, when God rebukes me, I'm like, yes, Lord spoke to me, but it still gets me.

What is the connection between laying down desires, surrendering pride, and experiencing God's freedom in others?

Now it's beautiful because I know he loves me and it is so bathed in love. And he will tell me pride, they're they're drilling pride. We're drilled God's drilling pride out of us. We have so much equipping because the importance is the heart. They don't wanna send out people that don't have a heart for God, that haven't surrendered their lives, that God is breaking pride, God is breaking or putting us into humility.

Right? And it's a beautiful thing and I didn't mean to I did but I didn't.

It's exactly what I wanted you to do.

So here's the thing. I'm really thirsty. Here's the thing. I'm I'm just gonna say this really quick. I don't know why I'm shaking because I'm not nervous.

Probably the presence of God. You don't wanna go anywhere without the presence of God, I'm telling you. Kiwana, that you guys just saw the video of, we were in a mall and she was the last person we she she's a she does hair. She was the only 1 in that shop in the mall working there. And we went in and did just what Daniel said.

And she there was just like she talked to us and she was just really, you know, not very expressive of a whole lot and we prayed for her to be born again. And then she showed up at Belong. I'm like, woah. And then the next week she got baptized and she but she when she got baptized, she cried out in in baptism. *God* healed her and delivered her.

I mean, cried out and the holy when the holy spirit comes upon you, when you go when we go out, we don't leave until we know the holy spirit's going out with us And we understand that everything that God does is him. It's not even us. We don't even take credit for it. But what I wanted to say is God, when I was praying for real church last couple days and I told the people serving this this morning that I really believe God wants to do great things in this body. And I hope you hear the heart in all this, but you're gonna have to get low.

And by get low, I mean, get rid of all of your selfish ambition, everything. Be like, it it it stinks. If you have guilt and condemnation, that's not from God. God has love for you. And when God says get low, I say, yes, sir, because you know why?

I know when I get low, when I get low, I know that he is pouring in life. He is pouring in himself. He is pouring in the very things that I was created to do for him and for his kingdom and it's so good. It's life. It's life and he wants it for you and he said, if you will get low, I would do great things.

The lower you get, the greater things I will do in this city. So if you wanna love and serve the God that you proclaim, give your life away. He said go and make **disciples** of all nations. He said go and do the work of evangelist. I said, yes Lord.

And I love it. I can.

Oh, keep them.

Because I can go out now and I can see people with the heart of *God* and it breaks my heart when they say no, it grieves me. I pray for them. That's what Jesus does. When people need deliverance because there's a veil, I say, Lord, remove that veil so they can see you because you're so good. He will do that for you.

How does the process of wrestling with God's call lead to radical trust and the ability to deny oneself?

Heidi, there there was a time when in between you saying yes and and all of that where you really wrestled. I'd say wrestled with the Lord on this. Could you talk about that time a little bit? Because I think there's a lot of people that have a desire to surrender at the level that you're talking about, but there's this wrestling match going on. It's the same thing that you

went through. Could you give me a hint? Because I feel like I'm always wrestling. Yeah. Had a lot.

I got a lot to give.

It was like November, October, December time frame and and just this learning to lay stuff down in the different areas as you're prepared being prepared.

Yeah. So just trying to I don't even know where to go with this. Let me see. *Lord*, what do you wanna say? There you know, when God told me I was going, like I'm a planner, I wanna know all the directions, I wanna know how it's gonna happen, I don't know how God's gonna provide because he's always provided.

Jerry's been in full time ministry but he always provided through my job, which was beautiful and amazing. I didn't know how I was gonna do this. Didn't even go to Belong. I'd be like, oh, I gotta be with Courtney on Tuesday nights because that's the only time I ever get to be with her. But I was I didn't wanna go to Belong.

I didn't wanna do it. And I didn't know how God was gonna do it and I I mean, I wrestled with him but I always just laid everything down and I and I remember in my mind just trying to let go of all the planning and all that stuff and pastor David said, trust what you can't plan. And I actually wrote it down and put it on my computer and I can constantly brought every fear, every anxiety, every every plan that I had, not knowing you don't know what you're going into, but you but I promise you that there is a God that loves you, if he has called you, he has equipped you because guess what, it's gonna not be you, it's gonna be him, it's gonna be all him, and you can trust him. God has radically changed me in the last 3 and a half months and I still have 2 months to go. I don't know what he's gonna do.

Every day, I'm like, I get to do this. I get to do this.

Yes. You you you don't you don't have to go to Fort Worth for 6 months to experience this. Right? This is just learning to surrender your life to Jesus in every area of your life. The Bible says, anyone who wants to be my disciple must deny himself, pick up your cross and follow me.

There's a lot of Christians that don't know what it means to deny themselves. So, they're not experiencing the full life of Christ that he wants you to experience. Jerry? Brother. Whatever *God* puts on your

So, this is coming from a woman who man, she would get mad when I

I am.

She would get mad when I went into a grocery store because she knew what was about to happen. So she would leave me.

How does leaving the natural for the supernatural impact ministry relationships and living conditions?

Night, leave those people alone. They're working.

And now, she's wanting to interrupt people's lives for God. And, that's a "beautiful picture". You know, Give me 1 second here. Anyway, I'll paraphrase it. It says, John-1 I mean, not John.

*Galatians-1:15* and 16. It says, when it pleased God to reveal his son, by his grace, I got to preach the "good news". I no longer consulted with flesh and blood. I no longer needed to be approved by man, or the fear of man. Yes.

So, I grabbed a hold of what God had called me to and went with it. And that's what you see in this result here. This is the multiplication. Here's *Daniel-14* months in, leaning to into everything that God has called him for. And it's not about his strength, it's by the **supernatural effect** of what God is doing.

Leaving the natural to the supernatural. This beautiful woman of mine, I get to have ministry with her now. I get to we get to walk together. Now, it's been a struggle at times, where we fought in we live in a bedroom, you know?

Yeah. We have a bedroom to ourselves.

We have a bedroom to ourselves.

So, they're in a house with how many other people in the house? 14 people. 14 other people that are living there full time, and they get 1 bedroom that they live in in that house, and they all go out and share the gospel and come back. And and that's their only privacy. That's what

they're talking about. Okay? So, the pressing, the stretching, the crushing, and the sifting is constantly going on, dying to self because everything will be exposed somehow, some way. And you know what? It's a beautiful thing.

What specific supernatural encounters occurred during the evangelism outreach at the restaurant?

I never thought about that crush crushing, stretching, and pressing. But Lord, I get up every day and wanna be crucified. Take all the pride out of me. Come on. Because it says in in Romans-10:14, if I have anything in me, I'm not gonna tell that person that needs to know.

It's it's like it says, how will they know if they have not heard? And, man, we encounter people every day like that. There's sometimes we go along and somebody rejects who's never heard the gospel and I walk away and say, Lord, what just happened there? And he says, but they never would have known if you wouldn't have told them. Now, they know the gospel.

Come on. So, I think the the most exciting 1, supernatural for me, we went out probably about the third week we were there. I was with intern Daryl, older guy my age, know, 64. I'm 59. So, we're out.

We go in this Chick fil A. And, as I walk in the door, I happen to look, and the Holy Spirit showed me this guy sitting in a booth. He has a big tattoo right here. So I see it. I just kinda go to the bathroom.

I come out. I see another table. Hey, I need to pray for this couple. So I stop and pray for them too along the way. Just imagine, you know, Holy Spirit's leading you around this table.

You never take your focus off what he's showing you first. And so, I go around the table and come up to Rudy, is his name. And I said, man, I said, do you know how much Jesus loves you? And he flipped back in the seat, threw his arms up. He was on a phone call, eating his lunch.

And he says, man, I just was asking him about all these things today, and here you are showing up. I said, could I sit down? He said, sure. He hangs up the phone call. He didn't say, I'm bye.

I got to go. He just hangs up the phone. He pushes his food to the side, And so, we sat there and start talking. I start sharing the gospel with him. And he says, man, how do I get there?

I said, well, you have to be born again. And he said, what does that look like? I said, you were born wrong. *John-3*. But you have to be born right.

You have to be led by the spirit. I said, you believed? I said, the demons believe and they tremble. I said, you truly have to submit, turn from yourself, and return back to the Lord. Repent for your sins, and and move forward with him.

Would you like to be born again? Yes. Now, this was on a Wednesday. I invited him to belong on a Thursday. He shows up.

He gets baptized that night, and he comes up with his heavenly language. Supernatural fact. And then Friday, now this Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, I'm discipling him in a coffee shop. And that's been an ongoing process. Well, then the next week, his girlfriend, Be, comes with him.

Why is being born again necessary for those who believe but do not follow Him?

She is born again. She is baptized. She comes up speaking in her heavenly language, and she disciples with Heidi. Then the next week, their brother comes. He's sitting in Belong, and before Belong, he's born again.

He gets *baptized* in the spirit. So, it's a pretty powerful supernatural occasion right there.

Praise the Lord. Jerry, there are there are people in here who maybe you've just been what I would call a nominal Christian, a Christian by name. You believed in God. Right? But, even once he Like like he said, even demons believe.

Just because you believe doesn't mean you follow Him or you've been changed from the inside out. I'm talking believing so much you're going to give your life to Him. There's an opportunity for you to come into a relationship with the Heavenly Father right now. Jerry, why don't you share the gospel, man, and and with them and and give them the opportunity.

Yeah. I just I just feel like some of you are in here today, and you'd really don't have that personal up close relationship. It's more like a religious manner. You know, *God* created you to have a relationship with you. *Sin* gets in the way.

Us not choosing God gets in the way. But there's an answer to that, and that's Jesus Christ himself. He came from heaven to earth to restore us in a right relationship back to the father. John-5:10 says, while we were yet enemies of his, he reconciled us to himself. So think about that.

When you were far off, he already brought you near. But there's a choice you have to make. In John-3, there's a guy named Nicodemus. He's a religious guy. He's talking about Jesus.

He's telling people about Jesus. Talking about all the supernatural effects of Jesus. But there's a piece missing. There's a piece missing to the puzzle. There's no relationship.

So he sneaks to Jesus at night, Says, Lord, what must I do to see the kingdom of God? He says, Nicodemus, you must be born again. He says, Lord, I can't crawl back up in my mother's womb to be born again. He says, no, Nicodemus. Flesh is flesh.

*Born* of water. Born of your mother. You were born wrong though. He says, but to be born again, you must be born of spirit. So being born again means you're born right.

Right? John-3:16 17 and 18, it says, for God so loved you, he gave all of himself for you, not wanting to hold anything against you. He gives you a gift for eternal life. But if you choose not that life, you choose eternal damnation. *Romans-1:18* says, if you suppress this truth in your unrighteousness, then you're inviting the wrath of God upon yourself.

How does the speaker address struggles with depression and addiction while inviting people to God?

Because he's chosen I mean, he's put it within you, around you, and to you. So today, I wanna I wanna give this call out. Would you move from today believing or unbelieving to being born again? Is there anybody in this room that would be bold enough to stand and say they would like to have the gift of life, moving from death to life? There's no place for you in the middle.

It's either you are or you're not. And *God called you to have a relationship* with you before the foundation of the world. But when you were in your mother's womb, he chose you in him. But until you receive this, you just get a flicker of what this relationship is about. Is there anybody here today would like to submit their lives to be born again for Jesus Christ to become your Lord and Savior?

Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Come on. There's more.

Who else

would stand up? Come on. Come on.

Hey, Jerry. I just wanna add really quick too. I understand that there are things that feel like they have more power, whether it's you know, God says you have a sound mind, but if you are struggling with things, I understand that things are real. I understand that depression is real. I understand that all of those things that make you feel drugs, addiction, it's real.

I understand that and God understands it. But I'm telling you, I've struggled through every 1 of those things and God will set you free. I just wanna give you a hope. I don't wanna I don't want you to feel condemned if you're not walking in that freedom, but there are people here that love you. And the whole purpose in coming to God is we wanna walk through that with you because we know that and we understand that and we've experienced his healing power, his deliverance.

So don't be afraid to say yes to God because you need him. You need the Holy Spirit in you to "walk in victory", to get free. There is freedom. He loves you and he's patient and he will guide you and these people in this church will come alongside you, will not do it by yourself. We were created to walk this out with you.

And in knowing that, don't let fear stop you. We get it, it's real. But there is a real God, the enemy's been lying to you, all of that other stuff is not, and he wants to set you free and love you. So if you didn't raise your hand or stand up, do it now and let me pray for you. Let us pray for you and walk this out with you or come and find me when we're we're going out.

Please just let Jesus in. He will love you and and and create in you "pure beautiful life".

What does it mean to stand up and confess Jesus before men for deeper surrender?

Yeah. Some people are feeling I believe you're feeling, man, I need to be born again, but why would I have to stand up? Why do I have to do that? Well, the Bible says if you deny me before men, I'll deny you before my father in heaven. You confess me before men, and I'll confess you before my Father in heaven.

It's not a I'm we're not trying to create a high pressure situation for you, but we're saying, hey, look, if you're willing in the beginning to say, I don't care what everybody thinks about me, you'll probably continue that way. *Amen? So, is there anybody else that would say, "I'm all in". I'm ready to give my life to Jesus. stand up now*.

Praise the Lord. Come on. Come on up.

Praise the Lord. And I believe on the way in in doing this, God is gonna start healing you and delivering you.

Is there anybody else?

Anybody else? Okay. So, there's there's another

I'm Jerry.

There's another thing I wanna do. There's there's a deeper level of *surrender* that God is calling you to, many of you. You hear this. You guys can go ahead. But you hear you hear this, and you're like, man, I wanna learn to live that way.

I want to learn to to walk in a deeper level of surrender, where I'm not so focused on my own comfort, but surrendering to Jesus as Lord. I'm giving you everything. I've been born again. I've been following you, but God, I know you're calling me to deeper levels of you to let go of every sin that's holding me back that I've been making excuses for on this side, or to let go of every weight that's just a distraction that's keeping me from running the race that God's called me to. I'm all in.

I'm ready to lay those things down and run the the race that God's called me to. If that's you, would you stand up? Come on. There's there's many in here, believers that are that want to to go all out. I'm all in for you, Jesus.

I'm all in. I'm laying down every weight. I'm laying down every sin, and and I'm running after you in the fullness of the calling that Jesus has called me to. Daniel, I'm gonna have you pray over them. And if if if you you wanna walk in deeper levels of surrender, I just want you to raise your hands.

Raising your hands is a sign of surrender, and just begin to thank the Lord for what He's done. Whatever reason you stood up, whether it's a sin, whether it's a weight, or you're just wanting deeper levels of surrender to to reflect the similar life that these guys are leading in your daily life. Just begin to thank Him and and speak to the Lord. Talk to Him about it right now. Daniel, go ahead.

How does sensitivity to the Holy Spirit prepare believers for the secret place and ministry?

*Father*, I just thank you for each and every 1 of these people that have raised their hands to to go deeper with you, to to go into the the the calling that you created them for, *Lord, I I just pray in Jesus*' name for an impartation of of of what we've been seeing in in Texas to I pray that you would just fill every single person here with that, God. I pray that I pray you would just anoint every single 1 of these people, God. Fill fill them with your spirit, God. I pray for for giftings in each of these people that would just overflow as they go out, God. I pray that people here would would become sensitive to the Holy Spirit, that that you would draw them into the secret place with you, God, where they can be sensitive to your voice so that when they're out there, they can be ready for for whoever it is that that's on your heart that day, so they can go after the 1 that's on your heart that day, Lord.

There there is people everywhere that are broken, that are in addiction from in drugs and alcohol, that are depressed, that have anxiety, that are on on the verge of suicide. And if we if if every single person here would just become sensitive to the Holy Spirit, get in the secret place and become sensitive to his voice. And and when you're out there, he will show you. He will show you who it is that is that is just longing for just a touch from God because there's people out there. All it takes is 1 touch from God to completely change their entire life.

So that Oh, keep going. And you could you could walk past them in an instant, But if you're sensitive to His voice, and you and you're staying in His *presence* on a daily basis, it's gonna be it's gonna be so much easier to do that. That

that that raising your hands that I'm going in all in for deeper levels of surrender in my life, that starts what they're saying in the secret place. That's where it starts. It starts with being more intentional, getting alone with God, more intentional worshiping Him in the same way that you see worshiping at church. Just doing it alone, learning to go after Him with all of your heart. When you're alone, when nobody's watching, learning to get in this word, and creating a hunger.

Lord God, create in me a hunger for your word. Open up my heart. Teach me how to love this, and eat it as food. Because the Bible says, man does not live by every word that comes from the mouth of God. But, I mean, by by food alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

So, Lord God, I pray for them that they would have a hunger and desire for your word. Lord, that they would grow in their desire for prayer, Lord, alone with you, that you would they would learn how to receive from you personally, and that would overflow in their daily lives with deeper levels of surrender and hearing you. In the name of Jesus, thank you Holy Spirit for your presence. Lord, thank you for your goodness. Thank you for what you're doing.

*Lord*, we praise you. Would you guys give give Jesus a big old hand? Just praise

him.

We're we're almost done here. I do wanna say this. They're going back for another 2 months to continue the Jesus year there. And then after 2 months, at the June, their 6 months will be complete, and then they're coming back here for 6 months. So we, as a church, need to come around them because they they gave it all, and we need to come around them to help provide for them for the 6 months that they come back.

In what ways should the local body support the Jesus year team upon their return?

We need to figure out a place for them to live, whether they're somebody that's gonna be a host home, or we find a place for them to live. We need to figure out how we're gonna come together and and cover food, and and aspects of their their bills, and stuff, so that they can devote their lives full time to prayer, evangelism, and discipleship, and equipping you to do the same, taking you out and impartation into your lives. So part of today too is I'm asking you to pray and ask God. You know, this is your local body. These are our people that, man, God has equipped, and they're coming back to serve.

Would you ask Him what He puts on your heart to "sacrificially give" in order to help to fund Jesus' year for the 6 months that they're here. I I know God's gonna take care of all of it because right before they went, a man came to me and said, Hey, what do you feel like that you need? And this was on my heart. And I said, Well, man, I I feel like we need to figure out how to cover Jesus' year. And he wrote a $5,000 check.

And I was like, the first seed, the initial seed, I know it's gonna be covered, but it's gonna be covered through the local body. Amen? So, Robbie, would you hand me this? This. Because we we we already have the giving boxes, I I created a giving portal on realchurch.us.

You can you can just do the drop down box, and it says Jesus here. So if you wanna give online, that will be up there. And then also, if you want to give cash or checks, if God lays it on your heart, you can do that here. Or if you want to do some other way, come and talk to me. Praise the Lord.

God can God can do amazing things. But we know that He's gonna cover it. Would you mute that? We know that He's gonna cover it. We know that God is good, and man, we're gonna see a major harvest of revival, not only in the next couple of weeks or a couple of months leading up.

Robbie's leading Belong, and he's teaching us to do this day in and day out, but also in the 6 months that they're here. Man, God's gonna God's gonna impact Pinellas County. Amen? Amen. Amen.

So, Lord Jesus, I thank you for your goodness. Thank you for your love. Thank you for what you've done. Lord, thank you for what you're doing. Lord God, you're amazing, and you're wonderful.

*Lord, we trust you. Lord, and I pray that for those that that you're you're moving on their hearts to give, Lord God, that they would hear and be obedient*, Lord God, not out of compulsion, but just because they they they hear you and are obeying you. Lord God, and and for everybody, I pray you bless them. Let them have an amazing day today. Lord, we're just excited about what you're gonna do.
