Sermon — You Have Been Made Righteous

You Have Been Made Righteous

How can believers move beyond spiritual infancy to truly understand and live out their identity as the righteousness of God?

You are called to move beyond the elementary truths and constantly use God's word to train yourself in righteousness. Embrace your identity as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, and let that truth fuel your daily walk and prayers for healing.

How does the speaker describe the influence of his spiritual father and the move to Clearwater?

And I was gonna come down and say pastor David, and David's not here, but maybe he'll listen. Words do not express adequately what our pastor has meant to me. He is in the "top 3 most influential" people in my whole entire life and we've spent a lot of time. I've been very fortunate to spend a lot of time with him the last few years and can I tell you church, he's the same person here on Sunday? He's the same person on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

He is the same person when he's doing life as he is when he's up here and I think I don't take that for granted, and I think that is a wonderful compliment to him, but you can recognize and believe and trust what he says here is he's living this out. I will say I have much more gray than he does, and I have a lot more years around the sun, but I am so thankful for him being a spiritual father to me, and I would not be here today without him. And I just thank him for loving me well all the time. I did tell him about 5 years ago, and I don't know if he'll remember this, but he's only 1 of about 2 people that I can think of that every single time you leave His presence, you want to be a "better person". You wanna know God more.

You wanna be a better Christian. Now, that truly is the best compliment I can pay. To want to be more like Jesus. When you leave someone's presence, that's that's doing life. That's that's the Christian walk.

And I just thank him for being, that person in my life. Jerry and Heidi, I know you guys are listening. We miss you. Know you're on assignment, but please hurry home. We're ready for you all to come home.

Now, the church feels like it's leaning this way a little bit today. I don't know if you've noticed it. From here, it's just like this side's up and this side's down. To the guys that are sitting over here that I have the opportunity to help lead on Wednesday nights in Bartley's backyard, these are some big dudes. There's some big bodybuilders, but they love Jesus.

And, man, it's my honor that you would come today and listen. It's my honor to be able to get with y'all every Wednesday night and just be able to break the word and share and then grow. Because the first night, the very first night that we were in Bartley's backyard and there was, I don't know, it was 8 or 9 of us that first night. They started talking and the same Jesus came out of their mouth that I was talking about, and I just connected to these guys. They're amazing.

After church church, please come say hello to them, tell them we appreciate them coming. They're they're great.

Did you know that people call the wall?

The wall? No, I didn't know that. You got a wall today right there, got 2 for sure. And there's a couple all around, but there's there's several of you guys that I have the opportunity to really do life with, and I've been able to spend time with you guys. And there's many of you that could preach righteousness today just as well as I can, and I just am excited to see what God's gonna do through you.

The whole process of *discipleship* is duplication, *multiplication*, and to be able to get something from David and understand it and be able to give it out to you guys, and you guys are going to it, that is just amazing and I'm I'm just I give you guys honor. Just go change the world and let's let's see what he wants to do. So Alright. So it's been almost a year since I spoke and we have so many new people in the last year here at Real Church. So most of a lot of you don't know my story.

I'm gonna give you the real quick snippet. We moved to Clearwater on I looked this up. 01/15/2017. July. That's what I said.

What vision did the speaker receive before meeting David and what does Hebrews-5 say about maturity?

July 17. I told her not to correct me, but 07/17/2017. It was 9 or 10 days, I'm not sure Monday or Tuesday later that Courtney and David and the family moved to Clearwater. I met David 1 week after they moved here. But let's back up about 3 or 4 weeks.

I was living in Seattle, we were moving to Florida, and again, it's my life, it's my story, I don't know what you believe for our visitors, but I saw a vision, and I saw a vision of this tall, skinny, dark headed man, and I knew he was gonna be really important in my life. And then the second scene is I'm standing on a stage, and he's standing on a stage, and we're preaching, and it's this sea of people, at least 10,000 people, and their faces were black. I assume we were in Africa, but I just knew in my heart this man was gonna be super important in my life. And so when we moved to Clearwater, we checked out a couple of different churches, and I started looking for this tall, skinny, dark headed guy, and I couldn't find him. Went to went to 3 different churches, didn't find him.

And long story, he walks up to me 5, 6 days after moving here in the church service. Hey, I'm David John Phillips. I just moved here from Winnsboro, Louisiana. I'm like, Winnsboro? I grew up in I spent 17 years in Alexandria.

We just started talking. Talked a second, he walked off. It was the Holy Spirit. Went, hey, aren't you supposed to be looking for that tall, dark headed skinny dude? So I went back over to him, said, hey, you wanna go grab some bite to eat this week?

And we went to Panera Bread, which is no longer there on East Bay. 3 and a half hour later lunch, I'm like, yep, he's, that's him and so, he has start, he started that day mentoring me, helping me, walking this out, and again, it's that's how we came to real church. I have 2 goals in life. I never wanna be offended again, and I wanna know God more. What does that mean?

Well, we're gonna talk about it. We're gonna start in Hebrews-5:12. And if I had time, would love just because it would be fun for me. Guys that have been in the church a long time, the old timey, they'd have the preacher would have someone have a microphone, and they'd they'd say the word they would speak the Bible, and then you'd be able to talk back and forth. But I don't have time.

But I really would love to do that today. But anyway, that's okay. In fact, though by this time, you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food. Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teachings about righteousness.

But solid food is for the *mature* who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil or *God* from not God. Now, there are many scriptures that I read in the Bible and I'm like, I don't have any idea what that meant. I need to go do some study. But that 1, that one's 1 plus 1 is 2. That's pretty simple.

It's pretty straightforward. You should be teaching this. But someone needs to go back and teach you the basics all over again because you do not understand righteousness. I grew up in the church. We'll talk about it in a second.

I grew up in the church, but I did not understand righteousness. I was a 50 year old infant because I did not understand righteousness. But how do we grow? It says, constant use, constant use of what? Constant use of righteousness, we become mature.

Constant use means 2 weeks and then we quit. No. Constant use means forever. Every single day, I get up and I read 2 separate devotions just about righteousness and grace. I wanna grow.

I wanna mature. Who wants to be mature? Right? To understand who we are and allows us to walk out our purpose understanding who we are so important. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

How is righteousness defined biblically and what is the speaker's identity scripture?

When we understand this, it changes everything. So last week, David kind of did the who, what, when, why. So let's start with what is righteousness? Moriah started preaching my message right up here with as the host with communion. What is righteousness?

Now, about 2 3 3 and a half years ago 3 years ago probably, we, Dixie and I, we went to a home bible study group, a small group in Safety Harbor, and we went it was Casey and Martha's house. Jerry and Heidi were leading that group. Mark and Christine were there. Don't think anybody else was here that was there that that for that thing but we did Romans. We literally just opened up the book.

We started on chapter 1 verse 1. We would read a passage and then we would talk about it. Well, how many people know, how many we know? I mean, righteousness is all over Romans. Paul talks about righteousness all the time, right?

And so, we would just start learning and and reading and I'm like, I've read this all my life. What does this mean? I I didn't get it. I didn't understand it. So, what is righteousness?

I'm gonna go I'm gonna step over here to my guys that are on Wednesday night. What is righteousness? Right standing with God. **"Right standing with God"**. He looks at me.

He sees Jesus' blood applied to my life and he says, we're good. You're righteous. *Righteousness* is right standing with God. So who can be righteous? I didn't give him the scripture, but in Acts-2, Peter stands up and he quotes the prophet Joel, and he says, in the last days, says the Lord, I will pour out my spirit on all flesh.

Now, when you look up all in the Greek, guess what it means? All. You're bible scholars. There you go. So, if understanding is he pours out his spirit on me and I become righteous, who can have that?

All flesh. Anybody can become righteous. Is that what the Bible says? Okay. How?

How can I be righteous? Many people in the world, and then sadly, many Christians believe if I put my sin on 1 side, and as long as I do good things, and as long as it balances out just a little bit more, I do a little more good than I do bad, I'm gonna go to heaven. But the Bible doesn't say that. The Bible actually says the opposite of that. It says that he God looks at our good works as a dirty rag.

And 1 other translate it actually says dirty menstrual rag. My best can never make me righteous. Your best cannot make you righteous. So how do you become righteous? *2 Corinthians-5:21*, this is my *identity* scripture.

I love this. I quote this all the time. I quote it in King James, I'll be read it NIV. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become **righteousness of God**. That's my identity.

What analogy is used to explain producing righteous acts and how does multiplication work?

I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am the righteousness of god in Christ Jesus. Can I tell you that is your identity? If you understand it, awesome. If you don't understand it, it still doesn't change the fact.

If you have been born again, you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I did not understand that. I gave my life to Jesus as a very young child. But I could not live in the understanding because I didn't know it. Okay.

Now, I am a recovering smart aleck. So, if you believe a dog's tail is a leg, how many legs does a dog have? 5 or 1 is typically the answer I get. Actually, a dog has 4 legs. It doesn't matter what you believe.

**Truth is truth**. Yeah. I did not believe. I did not understand that I was the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus for the first 50 years of my life. But truth is truth.

Yeah. So, if you don't understand it, when you gave your life to Jesus and him you made him lord of your life, you became the righteousness of god in Christ Jesus. That is your identity. That is who you are. Now, what does that mean?

What is the application of that? Okay. I have never heard this said this way. I've never heard it preached this way. But this is what God showed me.

If you have an orange tree in your backyard, and it has oranges all over it, do the oranges make it an orange tree? Why? It is an orange tree. What does an orange tree do as long as it's in good ground? It's good.

It gets water. It gets sun. What does an orange tree do? Produces oranges. Does it wake up in the morning and go, I'm producing orange today.

Now, many of you have been here for at least a year and you know that we have some amazing speakers. Mariah, when Mariah speaks, she always seems to have this visual aid and I love it. I remember she's sitting right here on her knees and she was potting that plant. She was cutting that plant. Remember that?

Do you remember David standing right here with a glove, and he put money, some penny in it, and then he took a Bud Light and poured the Bud Light in. Just if you were here, you don't forget those things. Now, I understand this is not going to be nearly as visually impactful as either 1 of those. But when you understand who you are, you just start "producing oranges". You just start producing oranges.

Why? I'm righteous. I am the righteous of God in Christ Jesus. What do I do every day? I'm just producing righteous acts.

Right or wrong? I don't think about it. I don't have to strive, but then what happens? Come here, Jeremy. What happens is you share, and he becomes the righteous God in Christ Jesus because he understands.

And then what he's done what does he do? Go give oranges away. That's the multiplication. That's the duplication process. Come here, Gabe.

How did early church attendance fail to reveal true identity?

Go give oranges away. That's who you are, brother. Robbie, I prayed before I Message that I would not hit anybody in the head. I really did. Alright.

As a kid I told this last year. As a kid, I had a drug problem. I was drugged to church on Sunday morning. I was drugged to church on Sunday morning Sunday night. I was drugged to church on Tuesday night for youth meetings.

I was drugged to church on Thursday night for bible study, and I was drugged to church on Saturday mornings for bus route. If the doors were open, we went to church. We went to church a lot. I can count on 1 hand the time I was from 0 to the time I went off to college that I missed church. Any service, not a Sunday, any service.

We went to church. So, being preached to Sunday morning, Sunday night, Tuesday night, Thursday night, and then we would have revivals, guys. We would have revivals and it would be 7 nights a week. And we would go for weeks and weeks and weeks. I remember we went 7 weeks 1 time without a night off.

We went to church. So, I have been preached at a whole lot. A whole lot in my life. But I never understood my identity. I never understood that what he did on the *cross* made me righteous.

And when you don't understand that, it's a frustrating life to come to church and sit on the pew and raise your hands and clap your hands and pray and know that you're a failure. I was a *sinner* and I would do really really good for a little bit of time and then I'd make a mistake. And then you feel like "pond scum", and you come back to the altar, heavy. Messed up again. I'm a failure.

I'm not worth anything. 50 years, guys. It's impossible to explain certain certain situations if you haven't lived them. The fight that was between these 2 points was atrocious. *God* didn't love me because I'm a failure.

I'm a sinner. I can't do it. I prove it over and over and over, but I do good for a while, and I'm I'm I gotta skip in my step, and I'm loving Jesus. I'm doing everything I can do not to sin. Can I tell you?

Whatever you focus on, you become. Say it again. Whatever you focus on, you become. If you focus on not sinning I got the t shirt. I promise you, you're not going to live an overcoming life.

Because whatever you focus on, you become. The opposite is also true. If I understand my focus is I'm the righteous of God in Christ Jesus, I want to be more like Him. What do you think that means? What does that make me?

Where which direction am I heading? I am becoming more like Christ every day. Why? Because he loves me and I understand my identity, and I get to walk out I am the righteous of God in Christ Jesus. When you understand it I'd say it this way.

David preached to me for years, but we went to the gym for in excess of a year. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, we would meet at 08:00 in the gym. So he was preaching to me 3 times a week, and then on Sunday, he would preach to me. 4 times a week, at least, he was preaching to me about righteousness and love, and I argued with him. We fought, I disagreed, and he just loved me.

What is the root cause of arguments and selfishness according to James?

But 1 day, I came to the gym. I was frustrated. Dixie had said something stupid, I'm sure. She offended me. And David I said, David, today I can't handle a cow.

I said, I might can handle 1 bite. And he said to me, do you know that the root of every single argument is selfishness and you're selfish. That was the bite I could not handle. No. No.

No. No. No, David. You don't understand. I dealt with selfishness 20 years ago.

I was the most selfish human being on the earth. Everything was about me. All everything just it was money. Everything was mine. It was about me.

I was selfish and I dealt with that. I dealt with that. In fact, I gave a guy $9,000 because he was just having struggle. He was struggling financially. I gave him $9.

I had another guy that was wanting to plant a church. I gave him $25,000. I'm not selfish. He said, let's see what about that. Let's go to James.

Where's James? You got it, baby. Nope. Yep. There it is.

What causes fights and quarrels among you? There's my question. Do they come from your desires that battle within yourself? Don't they become from from the desires that battle within yourself? Oh, things that I want Our self centered, selfish David's right again.

Can I tell you, growing up, *sin* was a list of things that we couldn't do? That's what sin was. That's all sin was. Don't do this, don't do this, don't do this, don't do this. And I told you, I wasn't real good at keeping that list, and I just made mistakes after mistake, mistake, and I was a failure.

It was up in life, actually probably I was 30, 35 before I really understood *sin* is not choosing God in a situation. Right? Still believe that today. Choosing myself instead of God's. Choosing what I want instead of what he wants.

And then it hit me when he started talking about this. Selfishness is the **root of all sin**. It's what I want, not what he wants. It's the very nature that we talked about last week. Nature by the because of the 1 man sin, we all became sinners.

Right? The sin nature that was passed down from Adam, Cain, Abel, Seth, Moses, Abraham, all the way to me. That sin nature, it's about what I want. I remember when Tory, my daughter, was 2, 2 and a half, 3. I did not have to teach her how to be selfish.

How does understanding the sin nature change the definition of love?

"Mine, mine, mine". They don't share very easily. Naturally, they don't share. The sin nature. I was sitting 1 day and she popped the head off her Barbie doll.

And it's laying in the floor, like, Tori, why did you do that? I didn't do that. We laugh about it, but we do the same things until we encounter Jesus. And when I understand David's big 3. He doesn't like me calling that.

"Thank you for who you are". He says that almost every single time he starts praying. If you've never caught it yet, listen. Thank you for who you are. Thank you for what you've done.

He says that probably 60 or 70% time is the third or fourth sentence he says. And then he doesn't say it in prayer. He talks about it other time. Thank you for what you have done, who you who you made. Thank you for who you made me.

So thank you God for who you are. Thank you for what you've done. Thank you for who you made me. You made me the righteous of God in Christ Jesus. When I understood for the first time, and I call it a 2 year instant miracle.

Because he preached this for over 2 years to me. Like I said, I bumped him. I've we've argued. We fought. I disagreed.

I disagreed hard. Anybody knows that I knows my me from my past. I can argue. I could argue. That's not who I am today.

Got 1 amen. Probably the most important amen in the house. But when you understand it's not about me, it's about Him. And when I get to walk in that understanding, I am the righteous God in Christ Jesus. Here's an orange.

I just do righteous things because that's who I am. It doesn't make me righteous. I am righteous. Alright. So, switch gears.

We gots to hurry. Love. He says it all the time, all the time, all the time. Love is what? Joe?

Sacrificing oneself for slinging. There you go. My guys know this. Love, sacrificing yourself for another. So, when I'm in the gym and David calls me selfish, I I did not handle that well.

I promise you. I I I hightailed. I didn't talk to him for a couple weeks. He made me mad because I wasn't selfish. But when he started teaching me this and we fought with it and I fought over it, and then I finally got it.

What is the result of walking in righteousness instead of focusing on self?

What is love? Sacrificing yourself for another. That's the very definition of, okay, Lord, I believe you came, you died, that's the gospel. You came and died, you rose again. Why?

For my sin. Why? Because you make me righteous. Now, I have to do make a choice. I have to accept it and walk toward him and make him Lord.

And when he's *Lord* and I'm a servant, if He's master and I'm the slave When is it ever about Bart?

Never again

is about Bart. It's always about Him. 2 what's the great 2 commandments? Love God, love people. Love God, love people.

So when I understand I am the righteous of God in Christ Jesus, what do I get to do? I just get to walk out, "love people, love God", love people, love God all day long, every single day. When is it about me? It's not. You can hear this 2 ways.

Oh, you got a ball and chain you're dragging around, you don't ever get to it's all about him, it's not about it's never about you. That's the way 1 person can can hear that. But the other way is, his ways are higher than my ways. He knows what I need a lot more than I know what I need. And if I can trust Him, He will supply.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all this other stuff that you want, your needs, they'll be added to you. When you understand, I get to trust him, and he's a good, good father, as we sang. He But you took his words right out of my mouth. I have so much peace. I told you, 50 years the fight was so atrocious.

50 years, now I have peace. I have joy. I have freedom. It's not a ball in a chain. I remember David used to talk about this.

He'd say, it's so much fun living for God. And I'm like, what in the world is he talking about? To be honest with you, some of you just said it, I heard it in my head. Living for God is so much fun because it's not about me. I get to walk.

Here's dad. Here's my hand. Let's go. Whatever you want. And it's so fun.

How does the speaker define offense and apply righteousness to marital and driving conflicts?

It is so so fun. So let's let's lay on this plane. Half step back. Sorry. *God is gonna heal* some people today.

So I'm gonna just I'm gonna dangle that as a carrot. Now, let's "land this plane". I said I have 2 goals in life. I never want to be offended again and I want to know God more. Offense.

What does that really mean? Well, let's let's talk about it for a second. When the guy pulls out in front of you in the car in the on the interstate and you have to slam on the brakes, and you wanna give him a "piece of your mind" and maybe even 1 of your fingers, You have just gotten offended. That's an offense. Now, I won't even ask you if you've done that.

I know. I I I won't. I won't even put you on the spot. We have all not all. Most I hate I hate absolute statements.

Almost every single 1 of us has experienced that in a car. But I am the righteous God in Christ Jesus. What does that mean? I get to stop. I'll put the brake on, take a half a second, second, second half out of my day, and I'm gonna love them well.

Do you know how much peace that creates instead of the next 5 minutes gripping the steering wheel and so mad at that person than that Tesla? Sorry, Daniel. That that blue Tesla, not white 1. Those satellites are hot. Okay.

Let's take it. Okay, guys, let's make it a little personal. There's not very many kids in here, so I will still keep a PG 13. David was standing right here 3 weeks ago, and he said, you know, when you wake up and you spent all day, and you've been thinking about your wife, and you're thinking about you're gonna minister to her, was his words, not mine. Okay.

And all day long, you're thinking about your wife. That's my you lamb. God gave her to me. I want to steward that well. And we eat dinner, and I know we're gonna go to bed, and I go into the bedroom and she's asleep.

Come on guys. Be honest. She doesn't care at all about me. She doesn't care about my needs. When do I get what I need?

Come on. You're offended. That's an offense. But I'm unoffendable because I'm the righteous of God in Christ Jesus. This morning, let's bring it home, make it real personal right here in the mirror.

I wanna leave at 07:00 this morning. I gotta be here at 07:30 because we got baptisms to do and I'm gonna I get to set up the baptism. It's a huge honor to be able to do that. But I got to get here. I got the keys.

And it's 10 after 7, and we haven't left the house yet. And guess who's ready? Guess who's not? Come on. Can't you get in the car?

Just text Micah and tell him where the kids are. Am I going be offended? No. It hit me just that fast. No.

You're the righteous God in Christ Jesus. You're preaching about righteousness today. Are you gonna live it? Or you're just gonna talk about it? Unoffendable.

That is who we are. Told you about that dog with 5 legs. You are unoffendable. You don't have "buttons to push" anymore. Dixie and I fought every day for years.

I was selfish. I was very selfish. There's the amen. Amen. There it is.

In what way does the Holy Spirit convict believers of their identity rather than their sin?

But when I got this, I am the righteous God in Christ Jesus. I get to love her well. I get to sacrifice who I am and what I want for her. Do you know we went 18 months without a single argument? That's healing.

Why? Because Because I'm the righteous God in Christ Jesus. I'm the righteous God in Christ Jesus. I'm the righteous God in Christ Jesus. Uneffendable.

That's who you are. I love we have some amazing speakers around here. I love David. David's 1 of my favorite speakers ever. Moriah's probably 3, 3 and a half years ago was at 11 99, and she preached a message that I still remember today.

It might have been your first message you ever preached. I don't know. She went to John-18, and she talked about the 3 convictions of the Holy Spirit. *Sin, righteousness*, and eternal damnation. I don't have time to even start it, but the whole con the concept of it is he convicts the sinner of being a sinner.

He convicts the devil of eternal damnation, and he convicts the *righteous* of being righteous. Please go back if you don't understand that. John-18, again, 3 3 and a half years ago, whatever, it's she preached this, and it was amazing. So how do I apply that to my life? So I'm walking along.

I'm the righteous God in Christ Jesus, me and Him. We're we're in tune. We're in I'm I'm thinking about Him. I thank Him for who He is, what he's doing, who he's made me, and I'm just trucking along great. And that car pulls out in front of me, I'm offended.

I messed up again. I can beat myself up. The devil throws this guilt, the shame, the condemnation. Right? This means yes.

I can't see you, but this means yes. There's an amen. Thank you. But it makes it go much faster with amens. Or I'm doing well, I'm doing something, and something happens, and I tell Jeremy a lie.

Holy Spirit says that's not who you are. You're the righteous God in Christ Jesus. You're not a sinner. He doesn't beat you up for being a sinner. He convicts you of righteousness.

What does conviction mean? To be guilty of Webster says. To be guilty of. He says, Bart, you're guilty of being righteous. That's not who you are.

You can't lie to him. He doesn't have a baseball bat. He's not holding me over hell. He's not trying to beat me over the head. No.

No. No. No. No. No.

No. He loves me so much. He's like, Bart, that's not who you are. You're the righteous of God in Christ Jesus. You can't do that.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Thank you. Thank you for reminding me who I am.

I I repent. I rethink. The Bible says we overcome by the renewing of our mind. What do we renew our mind to? Thank you for who you are.

Thank you for what you've done. Thank you for who you made me. I am the righteous of God in Christ Jesus. I see heavenly father saying, come on, buddy, let's go. As of me reaching down to help Tori when she fell, dust those your knees off.

What specific physical ailments does the speaker claim God wants to heal through a "word of knowledge"?

Let's go. And I'm let's go. Come on. You got this. That's the way he sees us.

Now, if you think I just made light of sin, you're really wrong. God hates sin, but he loves me. Yeah. And my sin was purchased on the cross 2000 years ago. I am the righteous of God in Christ Jesus.

I told you I was gonna scream. When you understand who you are and you make a mistake. Come on, Bart. That's not who you are. You're right.

You're right. Thank you for helping me understand. I am the righteous God in Christ Jesus. Thank you. Thank you.

Thank you. I repent. I renew my mind. Thank you for who you are. Thank you for who you who what you've done.

Thank you for who you made me. Does this make it sense? It's who you are. It's who I am. He loves you.

And I'm his favorite, Angie. Inside joke. Alright. I have I'd asked 3 or 4 guys, a couple couple couples to come up. Let's do this.

Let's let's let's land this plane. A word of knowledge Let's let's back up. When *Jesus* was confronted by sickness in the bible, it says he healed all. There's that word again. All.

But then there was times he looked at his disciples and said, go bring that person to me. Right? Why? I want to do something in that life. That person needs to be right here.

And so, a word of knowledge is when he uses his followers, his disciples, and he tells them what he wants to do. Fair? So, a word of knowledge is I wanna *heal* x. I wanna heal this. And it makes us aware that *God* wants to do something.

So last night, 2 nights ago, God showed me how to end today. And we have gotten a couple words of knowledge, and I'm gonna share them with you. Now, when I take a risk, and it's a risk to follow Jesus sometimes, to to to risk hearing God and then walking it out, there's a risk. Is that fair? To go talk to somebody in Walmart on Aisle 13 and have to say them, hey, I believe Jesus loves you a whole lot.

You got 90 seconds. Let share the gospel with you. It takes a risk. But we're all family, right? We all love each other.

You love me, right? You got to, right? That's what the bible says. You can't tell people they gotta love you. Or you can't tell them they're loving you bad either.

Sure. But a word of knowledge is when he wants to tell us what He wants to do to build faith. Okay? So, we have been praying, and last night to this morning, *God* showed Robbie what He wants to do. He wants to heal someone or someone's with a pain that starts between your elbow and your hand.

Maybe it's carpal tunnel. I don't know. It's some kind of pain in here. Okay? He also heard there's someone or someones that have lost your ability to taste.

I don't know, maybe it was COVID. I know that was something that happened in COVID quite a bit. You could not taste anymore. I'm taking a risk. We're taking a risk.

How does God call individuals with specific physical ailments to come forward for prayer?

If that's you, will you take a risk and understand that God wants to heal you? Will you come up and let Him pray for you, please? He and Jana? There's 1. Awesome.

There's 2. We're gonna pray that. We're gonna pray it all together in just a minute. Anybody else? I last last Sunday, I felt like that God was going to heal somebody that had stomach issues.

If you have stomach issues, will you come stand in front of Dixie and Dixie and I are gonna pray for you? Now, he also Robbie also had a word of knowledge about an eye. God wants to heal an eye. Gabe, I asked him what kind of word of knowledge he got. He says, God's gonna heal somebody with an eye.

And I'm like, Then I'd ask Scooter last night, will you pray? He said, I feel like God wants to heal somebody with an eye issue. I'm like, cool. There's somebody here that has an eye problem. I don't know what it is, glaucoma, if it's scratchy, wet, I mean dry, whatever.

I don't know. Pam is standing in today, and if you have anything to do with your eye that needs prayer, will you please come up here and let Pam pray for you? Anybody? There's 1. Sweet.

And then, this 1 is a guarantee. This is a home run. There's no doubt. But when *God* started talking to Gabe, Gabe heard back, "lower back issues". We know that's like a softball.

There's 15 people in here, but I want to be able to speak a word of faith. *God wants to heal your back. So if you have a back problem*, will you come right here and let Gabe and Moriah pray for you guys? There's a there's 234. Come on.

56. Play me a little bit of worship music. We're gonna pray and then we just got 1 more thing and then we got baptisms. Yes. I know.

Okay.

Tension, headaches, or headaches. Tension, headaches.

Alright. Stand right there. If you have **tension headaches** or something up into this area of your neck into your head, will you come let Dolores pray for you? For the guys that got prayed for, and there's something that you can test. If your pain was x 6 7 8 and it went down at least 80%, is there anybody that says that the pain level went down at least 80%?

There's 1 2 3 4. Come here, Shannon. Come here. Tell tell me what happened. Which 1 is that for you?

Just tell them what happened. Oh.

What instructions are given to followers of Jesus regarding praying for one another's healing?

Hi. Hi. About a year ago and I got into a car accident and my neck bones like your neck is supposed to have like a curve to it and x rays said that basically my neck straightened up. So I wasn't wasn't really able to look like any higher than this without major pain for like a year and I've been going to a chiropractor and like it seems actually be getting worse until this morning. But I can I can I can certainly Thank you,

Okay? When we understand, we talked about it. When you make *Jesus your lord*, you become a follower, you become a *disciple* of Jesus. Is that fair? Yes.

Yes. This means yes. So, how many of you say you're a follower of Jesus? Sweet. Amazing.

Now, if you we did not call something that is physically wrong in your body and you would like to have prayer and you believe god wants to heal you, will you please stand? I'm not gonna bring you up here, just stand. Whatever it is, I don't care. If it's a scratch or if it's cancer, don't care. Okay.

Because Jesus works through his disciples, Jesus works through his followers. We just raised our hand and said, we're followers, right? Will you please, I'm begging you. Take a risk. I ask you to to me to take a risk.

Now, let I'm asking you to take a risk. If you are a follower, will you go find someone right now, stand up, go find someone, and we're gonna pray for each 1 of them. We're not we're gonna pray together. Just go find someone. I wanna make sure every single person has someone to pray for or being paid for.

If you if you don't have somebody praying for you, raise your hand. We'll get It is hard to see. Hang on. Hang on. Not yet.

Just make sure everybody got someone to pray for. I can't see. Okay. Hang on. Hang on, guys.

Hang on, guys. Hang on. Come back to me just a second. This is really really simple. This is really simple.

It really doesn't matter what the problem is. Jesus is our healer. Jesus is our healer. It's a simple prayer. God, we just thank you that you you are our healer.

It doesn't have to be a 30 minute prayer. I just want you to lay your hand on the shoulder or touch their wrist, whatever, and I want you to pray something very simple. God, we just thank you for who you are. Thank you for what you're doing right now in this sermon, in this service, in this body. We declare and we command healing to happen.

Just do that. That's all it is. Telling you, have anticipation. I can feel it. It's almost palatable.

*God*'s doing some work right now, guys. He's healing, he's healing bodies. Yes, Lord. We thank you for who you are. We thank you for what you're doing.

This is awesome. Alright. Test it. If you have a physical way of like I said, if it's a stomachache, I can't tell you. You might not be able to tell and "test it".

But if you had a physical ailment and you can test it, test it. Move move your back, move your knees, move your hands, whatever the pain. If *God* if the pain level is at 80% better or more, will you raise your hand? I can't see. 1.

In what ways does the speaker connect physical healing to spiritual righteousness and baptism?

Here's Deb. 2. If the pain is 80% or more better, raise your hand. 3, there's another 1. What did he heal you with?

A cough.

A cough. Thank you, Jesus. I saw another hand over here. If you're 80% better, at least 80% better. Raise your hand.

There's 1. Can we just thank God for what he does? He loves us. God, we thank you. We thank you.

We thank you. You love us so much. We thank you for who you made us to be. Please go home with the understanding that he loves you and you are the righteousness of god in Christ Jesus. That dog only has 4 legs.

I promise, you are righteous. When you lay your head on the pillow tonight, know that the creator of the whole world looks down and says, me and you were good. That's peace. That's peace. If hopefully today is probably just nothing more than just wetting your appetite, constant use of righteousness, start studying this.

If you're on Slack, I'll put up my devotion that I go I use so you can have that. But if you want to talk about righteousness, guess what? I talk about righteousness all day long, all week long, every day just about. So if you anytime you wanna talk about righteousness, come find me. I love to share.

I love to hear your journey. Moriah.

Awesome. Praise the Lord. We're gonna have some *baptisms* before I dismiss you. Yeah. I believe we have 2.

If there are more that want to come and get baptized, now's your chance. It's not too late. We can get you an extra towel. We'll get you ready. When we do baptism, we are doing this as a representation that we have "died to"
